Jesse Kelly of “The First” talked with podcaster Ken LaCorte about the Red/Blue divide between cities and the country.

Kelly showed a political map of the United States and explained that geographically, it was mostly red. The blue areas were typically cities, which had a higher population density.

“Isn’t the map, the electoral map of America, weird?” Kelly asked.

“Let’s call it a Congressional map. It’s just a sea of red. The country is red, and you have got, of course, these little blue pockets,” Kelly said.

“Why does it seem like a 50/50 country, but it doesn’t look like a 50/50 country?” Kelly asked.

“Ken, explain to me why the map of America looks blood red, and yet we are not governed blood red?” Kelly asked.

“Well, part of it is cause those maps, they are not really looking at people, they are looking at land. And people vote, not land votes,” LaCorte said.

“The more granularly you look at those maps, the more something really jumps out at you. The first thing is it’s not red states versus blue states. We always see that when we are watching the electoral map. They always come down that way,” LaCorte explained.

“When you look at kind of what’s really going on, it’s really blue cities and red rural. And you see that in every state of the Union,” LaCorte continued.

“I live in California, where we have millions and millions of conservatives. They are just overwhelmed by millions more liberals in Los Angeles, in San Francisco, and a couple others, in Sacramento. But the rest of the state is actually very conservative,” LaCorte said.

“In America, it’s the country versus the city in a very, very real way,” LaCorte continued.

“What is it about cities that makes them so blue?” Kelly asked.

“There is more of a collectivist attitude. There is more of a, here is a problem, and the government needs to help us fix this problem,” LaCorte explained of cities.

“When you live out in the country, you are kind of thinking, you are thinking the opposite, right? You are thinking, oh, here comes the government from either hundreds of miles away in my state capital, or a thousand miles away in the federal capital, telling me what I can do with my land,” LaCorte said.

The Trump White House completely busted the New York Times in a bizarre falsehood, while the paper published a total hit piece trying to paint Vice President JD Vance in a bad light with President Trump.

On Saturday, The New York Times published an article titled “Is JD Vance the 2028 Front Runner? Trump Has Questions.” The piece alleges that Trump has several doubts about Vance’s ability to succeed him as President.

For example, The Times claims that Trump has doubts whether Vance is capable of running a national campaign and scorned the vice-president’s initial opposition to the war in Iran. Of course, the Times provides no evidence to back up its claims.

While trying to divide Vance from the president, The Times tries to humiliate Vance further by portraying him as a thin-skinned social media addict who was recently put in timeout by White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles.

In meetings, Mr. Vance frequently scrolls his phone, and he uses social media to fight with his critics. The president frequently posts to Truth Social, but he does not spend time replying to people online, as Mr. Vance does.

Susie Wiles, Mr. Trump’s chief of staff, recently advised Mr. Vance to take a break from social media, as have other officials in the West Wing, according to people familiar with those interactions, because the fighting was beneath his office. (Mr. Vance said he took a break for Lent.)

But White House Communications Director Steven Cheung quickly exposed this claim as nothing but a crazy lie.

He also noted that The Times refused to run their denial.

“This isn’t true. We denied it to the New York Times, and they refused to run our quote,” Cheung wrote. “Complete fake news.”

The fact that the corporate media is so desperate to destroy Vance and trick Republican voters into opposing him signals absolute fear and desperation.

When Vance launches his seemingly inevitable run for president, GOP voters should judge him with their own eyes and his accomplishments as VP.

The aging ISS is plagued by a dangerous air leak.

The leak was confirmed by NASA last week, another instance of a recurring problem that the agency thought it had resolved earlier this year.

The New York Post reported:

“The 27-year-old orbiting space station has been plagued with air leaks since 2019 in a part of the station called the PrK module, a narrow transfer tunnel or vestibule on the Russian segment.

In January, NASA announced that the PrK module had finally reached a ‘stable condition’ after multiple inspections and sealant applications. But on May 1, the issue returned.”

NASA confirmed a ‘slow pressure drop’ within the PrK module, noticed as Russian cosmonauts unloaded cargo.

Ars Technica reported:

“Unfortunately, the leak returned three weeks ago. After a couple of sources reported this to Ars, NASA confirmed the issue on Thursday. On May 1, after Russian cosmonauts unloaded cargo from the Progress 95 cargo spacecraft, Roscosmos noted a ‘slow pressure drop’ in the PrK module.

‘Teams performed data analysis, which indicated a loss of about one pound per day’, NASA spokesperson Josh Finch told Ars. ‘Roscosmos allowed the pressure in the transfer tunnel to gradually decrease while monitoring the rate. The area now is being maintained at a lower pressure, with small repressurizations as needed. There are no impacts to station operations, and NASA and Roscosmos are coordinating on next steps’.

Although there is no impact on astronauts aboard the station, nor any immediate concerns about the station’s health, the returning leak issue raises new questions about the long-term viability of the ISS.

In the past, NASA officials have downplayed the severity of the leak risks publicly and in meetings with external stakeholders of the ISS. Internally, however, there appears to be greater concern. The space agency uses a 5×5 ‘risk matrix’ to classify the likelihood and consequences of risks to spaceflight activities, and the Russian leaks have been classified as a ‘5’ on both high likelihood and high consequence. Their potential for ‘catastrophic failure’ is discussed in meetings.”

Democrats will look you in the eyes and tell you “we are not coming for your guns” then ban one of the most popular guns in the country.

Maryland’s Democrat governor did exactly that this week.

The Gateway Pundit reported,

Maryland’s Democrat Governor Wes Moore has just signed a new law that would effectively ban Glock pistols, the most popular handgun in the United States.

This is just the latest reminder that Democrats will never, ever stop trying to implement more gun control.

What Moore has done with this new law however, is a real doozy. Millions of people, including lots of people who live in Maryland, already own these guns. This new law would make them criminals.

The NRA is already suing.

What part of ‘shall not be infringed’ do these people not get?

The Second Amendment says:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The entire purpose of the Second Amendment is to protect the people anything that may threaten our freedom, including our own government.

In the Declaration of Independence Jefferson wrote, “That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it…”

How can a free people abolish a government which has become tyrannical if they are disarmed?

Our founding fathers knew what it took to protect themselves from tyranny, they had just done it. The right to bear arms exists to ensure that we can fulfill the promise of the Declaration if ever we need to.

Throughout history tyrants have always sought to disarm their people. It is much easier to enslave and abuse those who cannot defend themselves.

Every piece of gun control is a direct violation of the Constitution.
