WATCH: Rep. Crockett Accidentally EXPOSES the Democrats’ Entire Redistricting SCAM

Rep. Jasmine Crockett appeared on MSNOW this week to discuss redistricting, but the interview quickly became a perfect example of how Democrats talk about elections when they are losing power.

Crockett, who recently lost the Texas Democrat Senate primary to James Talarico, argued that the country is experiencing “democracies in free fall” because of Republican-led redistricting fights. 

The segment focused heavily on Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, South Carolina, and other states where Democrats claim Republican maps threaten Black and Latino representation.

But the more Crockett talked, the more obvious the real issue became. Democrats are not upset because voters are being denied representation. They are upset because Republicans are using political power the same way Democrats have used political power for years.

Crockett claimed that Republican-appointed Supreme Court justices are acting as partisan players. Yet her argument ignored the basic difference between conservative and liberal judicial philosophy. 

Conservative justices generally argue that the Constitution and federal law should be interpreted according to their original public meaning. Liberal justices often rely on a “living Constitution” theory, which gives judges far more room to adjust the meaning of the law based on modern political priorities.

Democrats call originalism partisan because originalism does not give them the results they want.

The interview became even more revealing when the discussion turned to the Voting Rights Act and racial gerrymandering. Democrats have spent months claiming that Republican maps are designed to silence Black voters. 

Crockett and the MSNOW panel repeatedly framed the issue through race, insisting that Republican redistricting efforts are part of a broader attack on minority representation.

But the real argument underneath the rhetoric was political, not racial.

One panelist admitted that unpacking majority-Black districts could create more Republican districts and make some races closer. That admission gave away the entire game. Democrats are not primarily worried about race. They are worried about losing safe Democrat seats.

That is why the left constantly treats Black voters as if they are permanent Democrat property. If a district becomes more competitive, Democrats call it voter suppression. If Republicans gain an advantage, Democrats call it racism. 

If conservative legislatures draw maps that help conservative candidates, Democrats suddenly pretend they have discovered a moral crisis.

Crockett also urged Democrats to “fight fire with fire,” saying the party should use every tool available against Republicans. That was not a defense of democracy. That was a call for Democrats to respond with their own aggressive political warfare.

Crockett’s interview showed exactly why Democrats are struggling. They spent 2024 defending Joe Biden until the obvious became impossible to ignore. They then lined up behind Kamala Harris, a candidate who failed to connect with ordinary voters. 

Now they are blaming redistricting, the Supreme Court, racism, and “democracy” because voters are rejecting their agenda.

The American people are tired of the scam. Redistricting is politics. Democrats know it. Crockett knows it. Even MSNOW knows it.

They just do not want their viewers to know it.

In a blistering Truth Social post Saturday, President Donald Trump unloaded on New York’s disastrous Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul after the “failing Dumacrat” tried to pin the blame for the crippling Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) strike squarely on him, even though he had “nothing to do with it.”

The strike, which shut down the nation’s busiest commuter railroad on Saturday, has left hundreds of thousands of Long Island workers and families stranded, costing the region tens of millions of dollars a day in lost productivity and economic damage.

The New York Times reported:

Thousands of workers for the Long Island Rail Road walked off the job early Saturday morning, staging the first strike in more than 30 years for America’s busiest passenger railway and grinding service to a halt.

After three years of failed contract negotiations, two federal interventions and a volley of last-minute bargaining, unions representing about half of the work force decided to take to the picket line to protest what they called insufficient wage increases.

Five unions representing more than 3,500 workers — including engineers, signalmen and machinists — called the strike after contract discussions with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the state agency that runs the railroad, fell apart.

Kevin Sexton, a vice president of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen, one of the unions, said the two sides could not agree on raises in 2026, or on issues like health care contributions.

More than 270,000 daily riders rely on the service to travel between New York City and Long Island, a sprawl of suburbs and bedroom communities where many of the region’s workers live.

But instead of taking responsibility for her own incompetence, Hochul immediately started pointing fingers at President Trump and his administration, claiming they “cut mediation short” and “accelerated” the strike.

President Trump wasn’t having it.

The 47th President set the record straight and exposed Hochul’s pathetic deflection attempt for what it is:

“Failed New York State Governor Kathy Hochul, a Dumacrat, just blamed ME for her Long Island Railroad STRIKE, when she knows, full well, that I have NOTHING TO DO WITH IT – never even heard about it until this morning. She just blurted out, “it’s President Trump’s fault.”

No, Kathy, it’s your fault, and now looking over the facts, you should not have allowed this to happen. If you can’t solve it, let me know, and I’ll show you how to properly get things done. This would be an easy one for BRUCE BLAKEMAN. He should be your next Governor and New York State would turn around fast, including far less Crime, and much lower taxes!!! Kathy, call me if you can’t do it, I will get it done – I know all the players, great people!!!”

In the cutthroat world of hyperpartisan American politics, it’s rare to see much warmth emanate across the ideological aisles.

So many observers were somewhat surprised that after the White House Correspondents’ Dinner assassination attempt, reports surfaced that Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman had personally reached out and called Erika Kirk to make sure she was okay after the April incident.

(For the somehow unaware, Erika’s husband, Charlie Kirk, was assassinated by a shooter in September 2025.)

“The Charlie Kirk Show” executive producer Andrew Kolvet said that Fetterman was “pretty emotional” on the call with Erika, but didn’t offer too many other details.

And until now, little was publicly known about what was actually said during that call.

Fox News spoke to Fetterman about that call in a piece published Thursday, and the outspoken lawmaker offered a bit more insight into what happened.

“I expressed how sorry I am,” Fetterman said. “She was frantic, understandably, after her husband was assassinated.”

He added, “How triggering that must have been for her.”

Fetterman would go on to call the phone conversation a “very personal human interaction,” and said his “heart breaks” for Kirk after she had to live through more political violence less than a year following Charlie’s murder.

Fetterman’s more biting words were reserved for the people who saw fit to attack Kirk about her situation.

When asked about those online attacks against Kirk, Fetterman said, “It blows. People attack a widow. I mean what’s wrong with people? That’s bonkers.”

Fetterman also spoke to Fox News on myriad other topics, including the lawmaker’s support for President Donald Trump’s war in Iran, and even going so far as to suggest that China should help pressure Tehran, even if it hurts a bit economically.

“I think China should feel that pain,” Fetterman told the outlet. “I think that’s entirely appropriate. Why can’t China demand that?”

“Why not? Unless they want to create Iran as a nuclear power, and that would be incredibly dangerous for the whole world peace.”

Still, it was Fetterman’s comments about Erika Kirk — not Iran or China — that struck the most personal note during the interview.

In fact, when Kolvet was revealing the earliest details about the call, he was doing so alongside Glenn Beck. And the two men had nothing but praise for the Democrat, despite the lack of details at the time.

Longtime Democrat Rep. Steve Cohen announced Friday he is abandoning his reelection campaign after Tennessee Republicans redrew congressional maps in a way that dismantled his heavily blue 9th District and then broke down crying during a live television interview that same night.

Cohen, who has represented Tennessee’s 9th Congressional District since 2007, appeared on NewsNation’s “CUOMO” with host Chris Cuomo.

As the interview concluded, the 76-year-old congressman became visibly emotional, shedding tears as he reflected on the end of his nearly 20-year career in Congress.

“I’m upset by this. I think it’s really bad for democracy, and I’m a fan of yours. So I don’t like it. And I don’t get the criticism of stand and fight. Why would you fight when they changed the district and there aren’t enough votes for you to win? That’s silly. But I just wanted to give you a couple of minutes to tell people what you think this means for the democracy. Where are we?” Cuomo asked.

Cohen replied, “What the Republicans did, and the Democrats did a little bit in response, is to try to get an advantage this year, mid-decade. Redistricting is almost never done. And Tennessee had a statute making it legal since 1971.”

Cohen blamed the mid-decade redistricting directly on political pressure from President Trump, claiming the Republican governor complied with Trump’s request for an extra GOP seat because he was term-limited and seeking a future appointment in a Trump administration.

“The first thing they had to do was to repeal that statute that had been on the books for 54 years, because Donald Trump called the governor of Tennessee and said, I want one more seat,” Cohen said. “And the governor complied. The governor is term-limited. He didn’t have a job come January. He didn’t want to go back to the heating and air conditioning business. He wants to get a job from Donald Trump. As an ambassador, cabinet member, or agency head. And so he gets that. Trump gets another Republican who’ll be a lackey.”

Cohen began to cry and added, “You know, it’s funny, my press conference today is the most cameras I think I’ve had since the Victoria incident. And here we are again. And I got tears.”

The politician was referring to a woman named Victoria Brink who had claimed to be his biological daughter in 2013, but a paternity test later proved it to be false.

“You’re crying because you know what your service meant to that community, and that they needed it, especially in that state, and it was taken, and was unfair, just like what happened with Victoria,” Cuomo said.

“I’ve got a great district, wonderful people. They’ve supported me so well,” Cohen told Cuomo. “You know, it’s an amazing thing that the African-American community supported me for 20 years as they did. And the Republicans don’t see it, and they just tear it apart because they have no perspective of caring about African-Americans or caring about people getting together and anything nice that happens. It’s a tough sport, and they play it tough.”

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is moving forward with plans to convert warehouses into large-scale immigration detention centers.

The decision comes despite legal challenges from activist groups and opposition from left-wing local officials seeking to slow the Trump administration’s deportation agenda.

According to The Washington Post, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is preparing to award contracts for major detention facilities in San Antonio and near El Paso.

The two sites are expected to be operational by early 2027.

The administration sees the warehouse initiative as a central part of its immigration enforcement strategy, allowing ICE to detain and process illegal immigrants more efficiently through large regional hubs rather than smaller, dispersed facilities.

DHS has already spent roughly $1 billion acquiring warehouse properties across multiple states for the effort.

In Maryland, ICE is continuing permitted work at a planned Hagerstown site after a federal court blocked broader construction.

Internal upgrades, including security improvements and communications work, are still expected to proceed.

The push has faced a wave of lawsuits from activist groups and Democrat-led local opposition, who have attempted to argue on the grounds of environmental objections and local infrastructure concerns.

In Georgia, the city of Social Circle filed suit over a proposed detention center, while officials in Arizona and Maryland have also sought to halt projects.

The San Antonio city council later voted to restrict private detention facilities through zoning changes, though the ICE project is unlikely to be affected because it is federally controlled.

Meanwhile, DHS’s Office of Inspector General has opened an audit into whether the warehouse acquisitions were made cost-effectively.

Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin previously ordered a review of the wider detention expansion plan shortly after taking office.

The detention expansion is a key component of President Trump’s immigration enforcement push, aimed at dramatically increasing deportation capacity nationwide.

The expansion comes amid reports that the state of Florida is planning to shut down the temporary “Alligator Alcatraz” migrant detention facility.

The facility had opened as an emergency holding site during a surge in illegal crossings. Its closure has added pressure to establish more permanent, large-scale detention infrastructure elsewhere.
