Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) has confirmed to Fox News’ Bill Melugin that an active CIA employee will testify publicly and in person before his Senate Homeland Security Committee tomorrow morning, and this brave whistleblower is ready to expose how the Deep State has been lying to the American people about the origins of COVID-19 for years.

This bombshell revelation comes just days after The Gateway Pundit reported on Sen. Paul’s announcement of the May 13 hearing, where he vowed “the truth is coming” about the COVID cover-up, even as the statute of limitations expires on potential charges against Anthony Fauci and despite Joe Biden’s desperate preemptive pardon of his favorite bureaucrat on his way out the door in January 2025.

"Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) tells me that the COVID-19 whistleblower who will testify publicly & in person before his committee tomorrow morning is an active CIA employee who will testify that the intelligence community has covered up the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic for years.

"I think this whistleblower will help to confirm that this was known, has been known for a long time, and that when the scientists at the CIA looked at this, they discovered or they concluded that the virus had come from the lab," Sen. Paul tells me.

"What we're going to find is that the cover up is a real thing, that there are members of the community, the intelligence community, that still don't want the truth to come out. I've said the government was involved not only in funding this research, but then in trying to obscure the truth. And the truth is the US government funded research in Wuhan, China, and that research led to a virus that escaped, escaped the lab, in all likelihood accidentally."

A decorated chef in Los Angeles is now facing deportation thanks to a former employee who ratted him out to authorities, revealing how he violated parole.

As KABC reported, Carlos Lool, the popular owner and chef of a South LA restaurant called La Granja Rotisserie and Fuego Rotisserie, was busted by ICE last weekend and is now facing deportation back to Guatemala.

According to the New York Post, it’s unclear whether he was in America illegally after arriving from Guatemala.

KABC obtained footage showing the moment Lool was taken into custody by immigration authorities while Jenna Lawrence, Lool’s business partner and girlfriend, screams and curses them out.

“What’s your f**king problem?!” she yells. “Give him his wallet (back)!”

Lawrence told KABC in an interview that she was angry and heartbroken about what happened to her husband.

“This is heartbreaking. Every single person who’s had a family member or someone that they love taken from them by ICE – it is so sad and humiliating,” a crying Lawrence told KABC.

Lawrence claimed to the outlet that they were followed by ICE agents while picking up supplies for a catering event.

“They yanked him out of the car. They had him on the floor,” she whined. “They yanked me back and pulled out their guns, and then they took him.”

Lawrence went on to explain to KABC that the investigation into her boyfriend began after a former employee reported the restaurant to authorities. The ex-worker said there was a gun inside the establishment, which was a violation of Lool’s parole.

Lawrence, though, says that Lool needed the gun to defend himself.

“We’re in a tough neighborhood. We have been robbed,” she said. “We constantly have people breaking windows and jumping over the fence.”

“He’s been in this country. His kids are here. It’s just a lot, and it’s very overwhelming, she added. “And he doesn’t have his clothes, no cell phone, no computer — and we own businesses.”

The New York Post reveals that Lool had a 1997 criminal conviction from Connecticut. The crime was for third-degree assault, a Class A misdemeanor.

The next year, Lool was convicted of second-degree felony assault.

He also has several DUI and failure to appear offenses on his criminal record.

Memphis Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke has died.

He was 29 years old.

“Brandon was an outstanding teammate and an even better person whose impact on the organization and the greater Memphis community will not be forgotten,” the team announced on Tuesday.

TMZ reported that Brandon Clarke may have died of a drug overdose.

Drug paraphernalia was found inside of his home.

Brandon Clarke’s death is being investigated as a possible overdose … with officials finding drug paraphernalia inside the home the Memphis Grizzlies player was staying at on Monday, TMZ Sports has confirmed.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a medical emergency call around 5 PM on Monday … and when paramedics got to the scene, Clarke was declared deceased, first reported by NBC4.

An autopsy will determine the cause and manner of death.

Clarke’s death sent shockwaves through the basketball community … with his agency, the Grizzlies and NBA commissioner mourning the loss.
