Law pleaded to lesser charges to avoid 14 murder counts

The culture of death is spreading fast through Canada.

We have been reporting here in TGP since December 2023 about the deadly case of a Canadian citizen arrested for selling legal but deadly chemicals online, resulting in the suicide deaths of 14 people.

Kenneth Law pleaded guilty on Friday to aiding these 14 people to take their own lives, avoiding a high-profile murder trial.

Reuters reported:

“Wearing tan pants, a white shirt and dark suit jacket, Kenneth Law, 60, was emotionless as he entered the pleas on Friday at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in Newmarket, Ontario, north of Toronto.

He was facing 14 counts each of first-degree murder and counseling or aiding suicide related to 14 Ontario residents, aged 16 to 36, who died by suicide.

Prosecutor Peter Westgate told Justice Michelle Fuerst that prosecutors would ask that the murder charges be withdrawn after he is sentenced at a later date.”

Law, a trained engineer who worked as a cook, operated several websites marketing and selling sodium nitrite and other substances used to commit suicide.

“Law’s case has drawn global attention because of the international reach of his alleged shipments. Ontario investigators have accused Law of mailing at least 1,200 packages to addresses in more than 40 countries, including around 160 in Canada.

[…] Britain’s National Crime Agency said in April it was investigating potential offences linked to the deaths of 112 people in the UK who bought items to assist with suicide from Canada-based websites tied to a Canadian suspect it did not name.”

Longtime South Florida Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, who represents Florida’s 24th Congressional District, confirmed Friday she will not run for reelection.

The 83-year-old Democrat made the surprise announcement during a street-naming ceremony in her honor, right next to the elementary school where she once served as principal.

“This has been a journey. But it’s time. It’s time,” Wilson said. “I know all of you are saying, ‘What is the congresswoman going to do?’ Well, the congresswoman is going to not seek another term.”

She later told the Miami Herald the decision came down to one simple factor: “I decided to not seek reelection because it’s time. It has been the joy of my life, absolute honor to serve the people of South Florida.”

“I figured if I announced that I was retiring, what would the Legislature and the governor do? What would they say? Would District 24 be an easy target because Frederica is no longer there? I’m a strong candidate,” she added. “With me not here, would that weaken the survival of District 24?”

Wilson had been largely AWOL from Congress for weeks, missing dozens of votes while recovering from major eye surgery. Doctors ordered her not to fly, forcing an extended absence that left her South Florida constituents without full representation in Washington during critical debates.

Just days earlier, Wilson had angrily denied retirement rumors as “a crazy rumor. A crazy crazy rumor. I’m almost distraught. It’s not true. I am still planning on running.”

She has now reversed course completely.

Wilson admitted she made the decision some time ago but deliberately hid it for “political strategy.” She waited until after Florida Republicans completed redistricting to make sure her majority-minority District 24 remained safely Democratic and wasn’t targeted. She even claimed divine guidance: “God said to me, ‘Frederica, stay put and trust the process, and when it’s time, you will know.’”

Hillary Clinton 2016 campaign surprised, caught lying about email scandal

Hillary Clinton emerged from hiding on Friday to lash out at President Trump’s remodeling of the White House and immediately got torn to shreds on social media.

As TGP readers know, the White House is undergoing a $400 million East Wing renovation primarily funded by private donors and spearheaded by Trump. It features a new 90,000-square-foot ballroom complex.

The construction of the ballroom has been limited by activist judges.

Trump has also installing a UFC fighting cage on the South Lawn ahead of next month’s event to celebrate 250 years of American independence, causing more liberal heads to explode.

Clinton angrily lashed out over the state of the White House, calling it “rubble” and a “cage match.”

“What a metaphor,” she added.

Despite Clinton turning off the comments, X users were quick to remind her of two critical items: not only did her husband, Bill, defile the Oval Office by having sex with an intern, but they also stole silverware and trashed the White House right before leaving for good.

Who really disgraced the White House?

JUST IN: No Decision Made on Iran After Trump Held Two-Hour Situation Room Meeting

President Trump has exited a White House Situation Room meeting, where he was expected to make a final decision on the potential peace deal with Iran, reportedly without reaching an agreement.

As reported by the New York Times, after the two-hour meeting, the President had not made a final decision, a senior administration official said.

According to the report, “The administration believes it is close to an agreement but there are still certain matters being debated including the unfreezing of funds for the Iranians, the official said.”

CBS reported earlier that “no negotiations” on Iran’s nuclear program were underway, according to Iran’s foreign ministry.

“At this stage, we are focused on ending the war, and there are no negotiations on the nuclear issue,” ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei told Iranian state media.

This comes after Trump announced a “largely negotiated” framework for a 60-day “memorandum of understanding” (MOU) on Saturday. Included in the plan is a 60-day ceasefire, the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, concessions from Iran on nuclear enrichment, and an Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire.

Early reports on the deal suggested that it would require Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz for unrestricted passage and abandon its nuclear enrichment program.

Trump further announced on Monday that he seeks to mandate that all Middle East mediators and Iran sign on to the Abraham Accords and secure lasting peace as a condition of a deal.

The deal now awaits Trump’s approval, according to reports, after Iran agreed to extend the ceasefire and continue negotiations on its nuclear program. Trump’s nuclear demands would reportedly require further negotiations after signing the MOU.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump announced he was meeting in the Situation Room with his team “to make a final determination” on the potential deal with Iran.

In a statement, Trump laid out his demands relating to nuclear enrichment and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. “Iran must agree that they will never have a Nuclear Weapon or Bomb. The Hormuz Strait must be immediately open, no tolls, for unrestricted shipping traffic, in both directions,” he said, calling on Iran to destroy all water mines in the Strait and enriched nuclear material and signaling that the US’s naval blockade would be lifted.

“No money will be exchanged, until further notice. Other items, of far less importance, have been agreed to,” he said.

The US and Iran also exchanged missiles earlier this week, with the US launching a "self-defense" strike in southern Iran on Monday and Tehran targeting an American military base in Kuwait with drones and missiles on Thursday.

This is a developing story.

BREAKING: Obama Judge Blocks Trump From Closing Kennedy Center, Orders Trump’s Name Removed from Building

A federal judge on Friday blocked President Trump from closing the Kennedy Center and ordered his name removed from the building.

US District Judge Christopher Cooper, an Obama appointee, said renaming the Kennedy Center was illegal.

Judge Cooper issued a ruling in response to a lawsuit filed by Democrat Ohio Congressman Joyce Beatty, an ex officio member of the Kennedy Center Board of Trustees.

“Congress gave the Kennedy Center its name, and only Congress can change it,” the judge wrote in a 94-page opinion.

In February, President Trump announced that the Trump Kennedy Center would be shuttered for two years for major renovations.

Last year, the Kennedy Center Board elected President Trump as Board Chair.

The Trump Kennedy Center was set to close down on July 4, 2026, and reopen as a “World Class Bastion of Arts, Music, and Entertainment.”

Previous statement from President Trump on the closure:

After a one year review of The Trump Kennedy Center, that has taken place with Contractors, Musical Experts, Art Institutions, and other Advisors and Consultants, deciding between either Construction with Closure and Re-Opening or, Partial Construction while continuing Entertainment Operations through a much longer period of time, working in and around the Performances,

I have determined that The Trump Kennedy Center, if temporarily closed for Construction, Revitalization, and Complete Rebuilding, can be, without question, the finest Performing Arts Facility of its kind, anywhere in the World.

In other words, if we don’t close, the quality of Construction will not be nearly as good, and the time to completion, because of interruptions with Audiences from the many Events using the Facility, will be much longer. The temporary closure will produce a much faster and higher quality result!

Based on these findings, and totally subject to Board approval, I have determined that the fastest way to bring The Trump Kennedy Center to the highest level of Success, Beauty, and Grandeur, is to cease Entertainment Operations for an approximately two year period of time, with a scheduled Grand Reopening that will rival and surpass anything that has taken place with respect to such a Facility before.

Therefore, The Trump Kennedy Center will close on July 4th, 2026, in honor of the 250th Anniversary of our Country, whereupon we will simultaneously begin Construction of the new and spectacular Entertainment Complex. Financing is completed, and fully in place!

This important decision, based on input from many Highly Respected Experts, will take a tired, broken, and dilapidated Center, one that has been in bad condition, both financially and structurally for many years, and turn it into a World Class Bastion of Arts, Music, and Entertainment, far better than it has ever been before.

America will be very proud of its new and beautiful Landmark for many generations to come. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP
