Former California Assemblyman and current top federal prosecutor Bill Essayli just ripped the mask off Sacramento’s radical open-borders agenda during an interview with PragerU.

The son of lawful immigrants who did everything by the book is calling out the left’s deliberate refusal to say the word “illegal” – because they don’t want to distinguish between those who follow the rules and the flood of lawbreakers they’re actively importing to prop up their power.

Essayli, whose parents immigrated legally, took the citizenship test, and built a life the right way, didn’t hold back in recent remarks that perfectly capture the rage of millions of Americans tired of being second-class citizens in their own country:

“I think one of the most offensive things— my parents are immigrants. They immigrated here lawfully. There’s a lot of immigrants in California. The president’s wife is an immigrant. And, um, they never mention the word illegal.

They always say immigrant community. And I just find that particularly offensive, especially for people like my parents who did it the right way.

They came here, they took the citizenship exam. I remember my mom studying for the test and learning about the branches of government, everything. They never want to distinguish between legal and illegal immigrants. And I find that particularly offensive.”

He continued, exposing the cold political calculus behind the madness:

“But you’re right, the dirty little secret is they want the flow of illegal immigrants. It fuels— well, you could talk about it politically, why for census reporting and other reasons, states like California need that population inflow because everyone else is getting out of the state

. And then when you go to Sacramento, this is like the protected oppressed group of the day. And so all their bills every day is like, how do we protect illegal immigrants? How do we get more lawyers for them? How do we get them more services? How do we get them free down payment assistance to buy a home? I’m not joking. That was a bill when I was in Sacramento.

They wanted to allow illegal immigrants to access down payment assistance to buy a home. I was like, how do they even get a loan? You know? And apparently you can get a loan with a TIN number, which I found out. But again, people like my mom, she’s not getting down payment assistance. She’s not getting all these things. She’s working.”

Essayli was referencing California Assembly Bill 1840, legislation passed by the Democrat-controlled legislature in 2024 that would have expanded eligibility for the California Dream For All Shared Appreciation Loan Program to undocumented immigrants.

The program offers qualifying first-time homebuyers shared-appreciation assistance for down payments and closing costs, but Gov. Gavin Newsom vetoed the bill, citing limited funding, not opposition to the concept itself.

Radical leftist commentator Hasan Piker just dropped a massive truth bomb that confirms what conservatives have warned about for years: foreign-aligned communist wealth is actively weaponizing American nonprofits to subvert our country from within.

During a recent broadcast, Piker openly admitted that Neville Roy Singham, a notorious, ultra-wealthy American Marxist tycoon currently hiding out in Communist China, has been using his massive fortune as a “funding vehicle for a lot of political movements in the country.”

Fox News Digital senior investigations editor Asra Nomani highlighted the clip, noting the significance of Piker’s characterization of Singham not merely as a donor, but as a backer of organized political movements.

Nomani wrote:

“On Twitch just now, Marxist Hasan Piker makes an important admission: he says American Marxist pro-China tycoon Neville Roy Singham has funded a “political movement” in the US.

That’s a significant characterization. PIker went to Cuba as part of a convoy organized by nonprofits funded by Singham.

As I’ve reported @FoxNews Digital, SIngham has pumped $285M since 2017 into pro-communist nonprofits, including CodePink, which is also facing Treasury Department scrutiny for possibly violating sanctions against the Communist Party of Cuba.

The groups that Singham has funded are 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) NONPROFITS that ARE NOT supposed be part of “political movements” but have clearly been politically motivated, supporting candidates, protesting administration (both Dem and Republican) policies and messaging consistently anti-US political positions.

Piker claims “the goal” of a probe into his Cuba trip isn’t him but Singham.

He speak about Singham as friends call him: “Roy Singham.”

“He’s been a funding vehicle for a lot of like political, uh, a lot of political movements in the country, a lot of activism…They’re trying to jam him up….That’s it. That’s the goal here….They get to chill speech.”

Piker says Trump Administration national security advisor Sebastian Gorka is “behind” the scrutiny. He didn’t provide evidence.”

Piker, attempting to frame himself as the victim of government overreach, described Singham this way:

“Roy Singham is an American citizen. He lives in China now, and he is a centimillionaire… He’s been a funding vehicle for a lot of political movements in the country, like a lot of activism.”

That statement is likely to raise eyebrows.

As The Gateway Pundit has reported repeatedly, Singham – who sold his company for hundreds of millions and relocated to Shanghai – married Code Pink co-founder Jodie Evans and turned the group into a CCP propaganda arm.

His dark money network has funded everything from violent anti-ICE riots to pro-Hamas chaos to pro-Cuba solidarity stunts.

House Oversight Chair James Comer, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, and Sen. Tom Cotton have all called for freezing his assets and investigating the foreign influence operation.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has already issued subpoenas to Code Pink cofounder Medea Benjamin and communist influencer Hasan Piker over their participation in the “Nuestra América Convoy” to Cuba.

It can be recalled that a bunch of American liberals, in cooperation with various transnational communist and socialist organizations, set out to “break the U.S. blockade of Cuba.”

They delivered millions to the Cuban regime and never once addressed the fact that citizens have almost no human rights, no protected freedoms, and do not vote in free and fair elections.

The Nuestra América Convoy arrived in Havana on March 21, 2026, and was greeted by Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel. The convoy, named after an 1891 essay by Cuban writer José Martí, was organized by Progressive International in coordination with a coalition of aligned groups.

The organizing network consisted of hard-left and anti-capitalist organizations, including the International Association of Democratic Lawyers, which was designated by the CIA during the Cold War as a Soviet-aligned front organization, and Progressive International, whose published materials endorse socialist central planning and express support for communist revolutionary movements.

The U.S. military has executed targeted self-defense strikes in southern Iran to protect our troops from escalating threats by the Iranian regime’s terrorist proxies and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed the operation Monday night, hitting two IRGC boats mining the critical Strait of Hormuz and a surface-to-air missile site in Bandar Abbas.

According to CENTCOM spokesperson Capt. Tim Hawkins, the strikes were carried out “to protect our troops from threats posed by Iranian forces” while officials insisted the U.S. was still exercising restraint amid the fragile ceasefire environment.

“Targets included missile launch sites and Iranian boats attempting to emplace mines. U.S. Central Command continues to defend our forces while using restraint during the ongoing ceasefire,” Hawkins added.

FOX News reported:

According to a senior U.S. official, two Iranian boats were spotted laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz, while forces also responded after a missile site had targeted U.S. warplanes.

The U.S. military eliminated both IRGC vessels and also struck the SAM, or surface-to-air missile, site in Bandar Abbas.

“These were defensive strikes,” the official told Fox News. The strikes do not indicate the ceasefire with Iran is over, two additional sources said.

This came after explosions were heard Monday in various regions across the Strait of Hormuz, with one explosion heard in Iran’s Bandar Abbas in the country’s south.

Other explosions were reported close to Sirik and Jask near the strategic waterway. The official confirmed Monday that the U.S. strikes were “over for now.”

President Trump had signaled earlier Monday that diplomatic talks with Iran were still progressing, but Tehran appears to have been playing a dangerous game, testing the limits while American negotiators pursued a potential agreement.

Trump wrote on Monday:

It will only be a Great Deal for all or, no Deal at all — Back to the Battlefront and shooting, but bigger and stronger than ever before — And nobody wants that! It may be possible that one or two have a reason for not doing so, and that will be accepted, but most should be ready, willing, and able to make this Settlement with Iran a far more Historic Event than it would, otherwise, be.

The Abraham Accords have proven to be, for the Countries involved (The United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, Sudan, and Kazakhstan), a Financial, Economic, and Social BOOM, even during this time of Conflict and War, with the current Members never even suggesting leaving, or taking so much as even a pause.

The reason for this is that the Abraham Accords have been great for them, and will be even better for everybody, and bring true Power, Strength, and Peace to the Middle East for the first time in 5,000 years.

It will be a Document respected like no other that has ever been signed, anywhere in the World. Its level of Importance and Prestige will be unparalleled! It should start with the immediate signing by Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and everybody else should follow suit. If they don’t, they should not be part of this Deal in that it shows bad intention. In speaking to numerous of the Great Leaders mentioned above, they would be honored, as soon as our Document is signed, to have the Islamic Republic of Iran as part of the Abraham Accords.

Wow, now that would be something special! This will be the most important Deal that any of these Great, but always in Conflict Countries, will ever sign. Nothing in the past, or in the future, will surpass it. Therefore, I am mandatorily requesting that all Countries immediately sign the Abraham Accords, and that, if Iran signs its Agreement with me, as President of the United States of America, it would be an Honor to have them also be part of this unparalleled World Coalition.

The Vatican is now apologizing for events that occurred centuries before anyone alive today was born.

Pope Leo XIV formally apologized on Monday for the Catholic Church’s role in “legitimizing” slavery, according to the Associated Press.

The apology reportedly appeared in Leo’s first encyclical, “Magnifica Humanitas,” which mostly focused on artificial intelligence.

“It is impossible not to feel deep sorrow when contemplating the immense suffering and humiliation endured by so many,” Leo wrote.

It was the first-ever official papal apology, and it assigned blame to the Vatican for the slave trade.

“For this, in the name of the Church, I sincerely ask for pardon,” the holy father added.

He called the church’s record on slavery “a wound in Christian memory.”

“The pope said that the church has long affirmed the dignity of every human being as the basis of its doctrine, ‘even if it took eighteen centuries for its full incompatibility with slavery to be explicitly recognized,’” the Associated Press article read.

“This constitutes a wound in Christian memory, one from which we cannot consider ourselves detached.”

His encyclical also mentioned that the Holy See had “intervened several times in order to regulate and legitimize forms of subjugation.”

“Yet neither can we deny or diminish the delay with which both society and the church came to denounce the scourge of slavery,” he wrote.

Since the beginning of his papacy last year, Leo, a Chicago native, has repeatedly embraced liberal policies and climate change narratives.

CBS News reported on his criticism of the U.S. government back in April, with regards to the Iran conflict and enforcement of federal immigration law.

The outlet declared that “Pope Leo’s church has emerged as a voice of moral opposition to the war in Iran and the crackdown on immigration.”

Democrats learned absolutely nothing from the 2024 election and this proves it.

During a recent podcast appearance, Tom Steyer, the liberal billionaire Democrat running for governor of California, said that he is ‘totally’ in favor of trans athletes in high school.

This technically violates two public sentiments on this issue. Not only do people not want trans athletes in high school sports, people don’t want minors to be allowed to transition genders at all.

The 2024 election made the public’s position on this crystal clear but the Democrats just don’t care.

FOX News reports:

California gubernatorial candidate Tom Steyer defended transgender athletes competing in high school sports in a podcast posted on Sunday, arguing that excluding transgendered youth from athletics would worsen the emotional and mental health struggles many already face.

“I’m totally in favor of trans athletes in high school,” Steyer told “I’ve Had It” podcast host Jennifer Welch.

“When you understand the vulnerability, the stress, the danger of being a trans kid, and you understand almost half of them try to commit suicide, then you think, ‘We’re gonna punish those kids, we’re gonna cut them off from team sport.’ It’s like, no we’re not.”

Steyer made similar remarks when speaking to CBS Los Angeles but also branded dissidents for perpetuating a “right-wing attempt” to smear transgender individuals.

“To be clear, this is not some huge epidemic,” he said. “This is a right-wing attempt to victimize and villainize already vulnerable and desperate people, and my heart completely goes out to the people who are so sad, feel so rejected, and so unaccepted that half of them would try to kill themselves.”

Steyer is among a crowded field of Democrats vying to retain party control of the governorship once incumbent Gov. Gavin Newsom’s term expires.

How hilarious is it that Steyer is sitting in front of a sign that says tax billionaires? Someone should let him know that he is free to pay more money in taxes to the government whenever he wants to.

There is no need to change the tax law in order for that to happen.
