President Trump savaged John Bolton after the former National Security Advisor pleaded guilty on Friday to a felony count of unlawfully retaining national defense information.

The plea was made in federal court in Greenbelt, Maryland, before U.S. District Judge Theodore D. Chuang.

The judge set the sentencing hearing for October 28.

Bolton, 77, had faced an 18-count indictment that had accused him of both transmitting and retaining highly sensitive, classified materials during and after his time in the Trump administration.

Bolton served as national security advisor from April 2018 until September 2019.

John Bolton is facing up to 10 years in prison and agreed to pay a $2.25 million fine.

President Trump trashed Bolton in a late night Truth Social post.

“John Bolton, a very dumb, unbalanced, and unskilled former representative of the United States of America, just pleads guilty! He is a terrible person, a lunatic who only wanted to start trouble and wars, and who was a needless pusher of death and destruction wherever he went. Hopefully, he will be dealt with harshly! President DJT” President Trump said in a Truth Social post.

The FBI raided John Bolton’s home last summer.

FBI agents were sent to Bolton’s home because he sent “highly sensitive” classified materials to family members from a private, unsecured email server while he was working at the White House during the first Trump Administration.

“Investigators reopened a dormant probe into Bolton’s alleged use of a private email to send classified national security documents to his wife and daughter from his work desk before his dismissal by Trump in September 2019, according to a senior US official,” The New York Post previously reported.

The investigation into John Bolton began in 2020 when he used classified information to write his book titled, “The Room Where It Happened.”

The Biden Administration halted the investigation into Bolton, but FBI Director Kash Patel revived it and ordered the raid on the former NatSec Advisor’s home.

The New York Times previously reported that the US Government actually discovered John Bolton’s classified emails while gathering information from an “adversarial country’s spy service.”

Documents previously released revealed that John Bolton stored classified information about WMDs and the United Nations.

“Categories of potentially classified records that the FBI reported finding at Bolton’s office included: travel memo documents with a “secret” label; confidential documents from the U.S. mission to the U.N.; confidential documents related to strategic communications; and classified documents related to weapons of mass destruction,” Politico reported.

A semi-truck driver fled the scene of a horrific accident after the tractor trailer he was operating collided with a freight train in southwest Atlanta this week.

A huge fireball erupted as the freight train and semi-truck collided.

Hundreds of Amazon packages were scattered all over the train tracks.

The unidentified driver escaped on foot. Witnesses saw him limping away after the accident.

According to Channel 2 Action News, the Illinois-based trucking company whose semi-truck was involved in the fiery crash is linked to 12 other crashes.

Investigators finally located the driver a day after the crash. He reportedly fled to a family member’s home.

The driver has not been charged with any crimes yet.

A Channel 2 Action News investigation has uncovered that the Illinois-based trucking company whose tractor-trailer was struck by a freight train in southwest Atlanta early Friday has been linked to a dozen reported crashes over the past two years, according to federal safety records.

Investigators said a southbound CSX freight train struck the tractor-trailer, dragging it hundreds of feet before coming to a stop. The collision left the truck destroyed and scattered hundreds of packages across the tracks.

The truck driver initially could not be located, prompting questions from investigators and neighbors.

“I don’t see how he would get out of there. I just don’t see it,” nearby resident Henry Burton told Channel 2 Action News.

Channel 2’s Michael Seiden later spoke by phone with a man who identified himself as the owner of MGM Worldwide Logistics. He said the driver was in shock after the crash, walked to a relative’s home and later turned himself in to investigators.

New York Republican squish Congressman Mike Lawler showed his true colors on Friday, pledging allegiance to foreign nationals in the wake of the Supreme Court ruling on Temporary Protected Status for Haitian aliens. 

As The Gateway Pundit reported, SCOTUS on Thursday allowed the Trump Administration to strip Temporary Protected Status (TPS) from 350,000 Haitians and 6,000 Syrians.

The TPS designation was set to expire in February, but US District Judge Ana Reyes, a wicked Biden appointee, blocked the Department of Homeland Security from ending it at the eleventh hour.

Pro-amnesty for third-worlders Rep. Mike Lawler responded to the SCOTUS ruling, saying he "strongly disagrees" with the Trump Administration and claiming that it will create a "crisis" in hospitals, nursing homes, and care for intellectual and developmental disabilities.

He further called for Trump to give work authorization to Haitians, allowing them to occupy American jobs, "while their immigration cases are adjudicated over the next six months," Lawler says. This is basically a continuation of the Biden-era policy of allowing Haitians to obtain work permits and remain in the country indefinitely.

Under Lawler's bipartisan House Resolution 1689, cosponsored by Democrat Rep. Laura Gillen (NY), Temporary Protected Status for Haitians would be extended until 2027. The bill passed the House in April with 10 RINOs voting in favor.

It should also be recalled that Lawler cosponsored RINO Maria Salazar's "Dignidad Act" last year to give amnesty via work visas and a permanent path to citizenship to "over 10 million people, or more," who are here illegally. Mike Lawler wants to import the third world and destroy your culture.

In a press release, decrying the end of TPS for Haitians, Lawler also touts himself as "one of the most bipartisan members of Congress."

While I have never disputed the ability of the President to end Temporary Protected Status (TPS), I strongly disagree with ending Haitian TPS at this time.

First, the situation on the ground in Haiti is a humanitarian and political disaster and continues to warrant an extension. The State Department has a level 4 travel advisory telling all Americans to evacuate and not travel there precisely because the gangs are in charge of the country, engaged in gun and drug trafficking, and kidnapping innocent Haitians. We want to root it out and allow for a stable government to be establish with a free a fair election, creating the conditions for a safe return for Haitians.

Second, of the 350,000+ lawful Haitian TPS holders, roughly 1/3rd work in our healthcare system. Immediately shutting off TPS will create a crisis in our hospitals, nursing homes, and in the I/DD community.

I’m asking the administration to allow for an orderly process by which Haitian TPS holders can maintain their work authorization while their immigration cases are adjudicated over the next six months, if the revocation of TPS moves forward.

Furthermore, I believe the Senate should take up my legislation with Congresswoman Gillen to temporarily extend Haitian TPS to address these issues.

Matt Van Swol shredded Lawler for effectively admitting and defending the fact that "America has allowed entire industries to build staffing models around people who were never guaranteed permanent legal status in the first place." He further noted that Lawler's argument that the "humanitarian and political disaster" warrants extension just proves that he wants permanent residency for the Haitian aliens.

Biden Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg claims he was swatted this week by Child Protective Service agents and separated from his four-year-old twins. 

Buttigieg ran to Substack to write a column about the incident.

“Someone decided to hurt our family this week. I’m furious, and I want to share what happened,” he began the posting.

Buttigieg wrote:

You’ve probably heard of “swatting.” It’s a cruel and dangerous kind of hoax that has started happening more frequently in recent years. Someone anonymously calls 911 with a false report of imminent danger, such as a hostage situation, at the home of a public figure. Law enforcement swarms the house, guns drawn, terrifying the unsuspecting homeowner and family and sometimes even leading to deaths or injuries in the confusion. It’s happened to dozens of lawmakers, judges, celebrities, and others. (When I was in the Cabinet, someone attempted to do this to our home, but fortunately the hoax was quickly detected.) It’s become enough of a problem that the FBI now has a dedicated database to track such incidents.

Now imagine the same concept, but with Child Protective Services instead of a SWAT team. Hadn’t thought of that? Me neither, until a few days ago when a police officer and a CPS worker showed up at our home and politely asked to speak with me.

I showed them in, invited them on the deck so that we could hear each other over the barking dog, and asked what was going on. They explained that there had been an allegation against me, that it concerned our four-year-old twins, and that a forensic interview had been arranged for the children the following day. I could not be present at the children’s interview, nor could any family member sit in. Afterwards, they would come back and interview me. And only then would they tell me anything about the nature of the allegation.

Describing himself as “bewildered and troubled,” Buttigieg went on to reveal that “the CPS worker told me something that made my stomach turn: I was not to be alone around the children, at least until the interview took place the next day.”

“The twenty-four hours until they returned are among the darkest hours of my life. I tried to get my head around the idea that I had been accused of something so serious that I couldn’t be alone around my own children, and had consented to have them interviewed by strangers, without my knowing where the accusation had come from or even what it contained,” he wrote.

After a “sleepless night,” he says, the officers told him that an anonymous tipster told police that he had spoken to a woman, and she said that Buttigieg had “committed unspeakable violent crimes, and the caller believed my children were still at risk.”

“After the officer spoke, the CPS worker likewise indicated she had not found anything to substantiate the allegation, though her process would take a bit longer to be formally completed. I no longer needed to avoid being around my children unsupervised. Chasten was invited to come back downstairs and hear the same information that had just been shared with me. Then, per standard procedure, she verified that there was adequate food in our kitchen and asked to take a look at the kids’ bedroom,” Buttigieg wrote.

“After the officer, the CPS worker, and the lawyers all left, Chasten and I hugged each other as tightly as we have any time since the day our son was put on life support as a critically ill infant just weeks after the adoption. We went to get the kids, had dinner with them and their grandparents, brought them home and gave them the most normal bedtime we could – with a few more bedtime books than usual. Then we went and sat under the light at our kitchen table, trying to begin to process our feelings.”

Then he cried victim, claiming it was an attack on homosexuality and pride month. “I don’t know who did this, or exactly what prompted them to try. It’s not lost on me that this happened soon after we shared photos of our family on social media for Father’s Day. Or that this occurred during a month meant to make families like ours feel welcome and safe,” he wrote.

Michigan State Police said in a statement that the police and CPS “determined the report was false,” according to CBS.

Another day, another Weinstein judicial plot-twist.

If you are confused about the endless comings and goings in the various trials, retrials and appeals regarding disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, well – join the club.

There are two clusters, so to speak: one in Los Angeles, one in New York.

We have been reporting on the THREE NYC rape trials: he was convicted in two counts in a trial, the conviction was overturned on appeal, on the first retrial, he was convicted of one count, but the jury deadlocked in the second.

Hang on, there’s more: in his second NYC retrial, the jury AGAIN deadlocked, and it ended up in a mistrial.

Finally, NYC prosecutors dismissed the remaining rape charge because the alleged victim, Jessica Mann, refused to go through with a FOURTH trial, getting grilled by Weinstein’s high-octane legal team led by Marc Agnifilo.

But he is still convicted on one sexual assault charge, against former Project Runway production assistant Miriam Haley in 2020 – and the prosecutors are asking for a 20-year sentence.

NOW, we get to the other cluster: in Los Angeles.

Today, an appeals court upheld Weinstein’s 2022 rape and sexual assault conviction in California, but ordered his trial judge to ‘resentence’ him.

While all these developments take place, the former movie magnate remains behind bars, having said that he is afraid to die in prison.

“In California, Weinstein, 74, was convicted in December 2022 of one count of rape and two counts of sexual assault against an Italian model and actor known during the trial as Jane Doe 1. Weinstein was sentenced to 16 years in prison.

The former movie magnate’s lawyers argued in his appeal that in his Los Angeles County trial, the testimony of the head of a film festival was unfairly limited by Superior Court Judge Lisa B. Lench, and had been seeking a new trial.”

Weinstein will be sentenced for his NY conviction in September. His California prison term would be served only after that.

Weinstein still stands convicted of another sexual felony in New York and others in California. He remains behind bars at New York’s maximum-security prison, Rikers Island.
