Whoopi is either really stupid, or straight up lying. Maybe a bit of both. Numerous polls have shown that voter ID is extremely popular. It’s another one of those 80/20 issues that the left is on the wrong side of. It could be even closer than 80/20, maybe 90/10.
It’s just amazing that this show is part of ABC News. They are like a firehose of misinformation.
Amid ABC’s battle with the Federal Communication Commission over The View’s purported status as a “bona fide news program,” the show’s moderator, Whoopi Goldberg erroneously claimed that “nobody wants” voter I.D. laws. Her latest lie came as Goldberg once again instructed viewers how they should vote in upcoming primaries and general elections.
Upset that Trump was refusing to sign a bipartisan housing bill until Congress sent him the SAVE America Act, Goldberg over exaggerated the situation and falsely asserted, “He torpedoed the bill because he wants another bill signed.”
The use of the phrase “torpedoed” made it sound as though the bill was vetoed and killed, rather than just being put aside.
Goldberg then proceeded to suggest that “no body” wanted such a voter I.D. law. She was joined by co-host Sunny Hostin, who was curiously upset that it required voters to prove citizenship:
GOLDBERG: It doesn’t have the votes. So, he’s trying to push to and do all kinds of stuff. It just — It’s ridiculous. It’s – The bill that would force people to have I.D. when they come to vote, and nobody wants it.

Everyone knows why Democrats don’t want voter ID. They want to be able to cheat with ease.
Just look at what the left did with the Los Angeles mayoral race last month. Do you think Spencer Pratt would have been bumped off the ballot after three days if everyone in the city was voting in person with ID? Not a chance.

Gustavo Gordillo is the co-chair of the Democratic Socialists of America in New York City. During a recent interview with Spectrum News, he explained how the DSA is basically exploiting the Democrat Party’s infrastructure to get their people elected.
It just confirms that these people are not even Democrats. They are an anti-Israel, Marxist contingent that is merely using the Democrat party instead of building a party of their own.
Regular Democrats are so starved for wins, that they are allowing it to happen.
“Our candidates run as Democrats. We’re on the Democratic Party ballot line. We contest the primaries,” said Gustavo Gordillo. “And when they’re in the legislature, they’re part of the Democratic Party caucus.”
“But we don’t agree with the way the Democratic Party establishment organizes or runs its party apparatus, so we try to build independence by focusing on volunteer-led movement,” Gordillo continued, “we think that everyone should be able to be trained and to become someone who can participate in the political process and we don’t really think that the Democratic Party campaigns and the establishment are run that way. And we think, you know, you really see that difference in the races we are having tonight.”
“And I think in terms of the agenda, there’s a problem in the Democratic Party where they’re funded by billionaire donors and at the same time they’re trying to represent the working class. In our opinion, you have to choose between the billionaire class and the working class. It’s just impossible to satisfy all of them,” Gordillo said.

Mercury’s Alyssa Thomas Issued Flagrant Foul, Suspended For One Game For Hitting Caitlin Clark in the Throat

WNBA savior Caitlin Clark was tackled and stiff-armed on Wednesday night during her game with the Phoenix Mercury.
During Wednesday night’s game in Indianapolis, Mercury player Alyssa Thomas was caught on film delivering a cheap shot to Caitlin Clark while she was on the ground fighting for the ball.
Multiple angles show Thomas driving her fist/forearm directly into Clark’s neck and throat. Video evidence also captured a knee to the groin area during the same sequence.
At the time, no foul was called. No flagrant was reviewed. Nothing.
The Phoenix Mercury’s Alyssa Thomas has received a flagrant foul penalty and been suspended for one game after hitting Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark in the throat during a game Wednesday night, the WNBA said Thursday.
The hit happened with 6 minutes and 52 seconds left in the second quarter of the Fever-Mercury game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Thomas’ fist made contact with Clark’s throat while the two scrambled for the ball.
The WNBA’s League Office can review any game and assign a flagrant foul, or reclassify a called foul as a flagrant foul, if they believe such measures are warranted. The WNBA’s review “deemed (Thomas) to have committed a non-basketball act” by recklessly making contact with Clark’s throat.
The WNBA said that Thomas will serve her suspension on Saturday, June 27, when the Mercury play the Toronto Tempos at home.
The Indiana Fever released a statement on the NBA’s action against Alyssa Thomas.
Legendary Singer Lionel Richie Rushed to the Hospital Mid-Concert

Legendary singer Lionel Richie was rushed to a hospital after he had a dizzy spell during his concert in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Wednesday evening.
The 77-year-old sat down after he felt dizzy and was forced to abruptly end his show.

On Wednesday, Saint Paul Fire Department PIO Jamie Smith confirmed to Page Six that they “did transport an adult male from the arena last night to a local hospital.”
However, the “All Night Long” singer’s current condition remains unclear.
Page Six has reached out to Richie’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.
During the opening night of Richie’s 26-city North American tour at the Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul, Minnesota, the four-time Grammy winner fell ill while he was onstage.
Per videos shared online, Richie — who is co-headlining with Earth, Wind & Fire — was forced to sit down several times while singing “Dancing on the Ceiling.”

New York Education Commissioner Orders New School Board Election After Investigation Finds Clerk Ripped Up Ballots to Rig Race

New York State Education Commissioner Betty Rosa has ordered a new school board election in the Hempstead Union Free School District on Long Island after an internal investigation found the district clerk destroyed ballots and smuggled them out of her office to help re-elect incumbent board president Victor Prett.
The original election took place on May 19. State officials overturned the results on Thursday after a petition filed by the district’s attorneys alleged serious irregularities.
According to the state’s review, District Clerk April Keys is accused of tearing up ballots and removing them from her office in an apparent effort to benefit Prett, a former school board president who also works as a local DJ performing under the name DJ Vic-Lover.
The investigation concluded that Keys’ actions compromised the integrity of the vote.
Hempstead school district officials had petitioned the state to annul the original results after uncovering evidence of tampering.
State Education Commissioner Betty Rosa accepted the findings and directed that a fresh election be conducted under strict oversight.
The state has appointed Neil Boyd, currently superintendent for the Putnam-Northern Westchester BOCES, as temporary clerk to manage the revote.
The new election must be held within 60 days.
A spokesperson for the Hempstead school district said the board appreciates the commissioner’s thorough review and will comply with the order to hold a new election, according to a report by the New York Post.
“The Board appreciates the Commissioner’s expeditious review of this matter, which enables the District to move forward with the revote in accordance with the Commissioner’s ruling,” the district said in a statement to The Post.
No specific date has been set yet for the revote.
The Nassau County District Attorney’s office has opened its own investigation into the matter based on the district’s internal findings.
This investigation will determine whether criminal charges are warranted against Keys or anyone else involved.
