California-Based Biden Judge Issues Nationwide Block on ICE’s Policy of Arresting Illegals at Courthouses
June 23, 2026
A federal judge on Tuesday issued a nationwide block on ICE’s policy of arresting illegal aliens at courthouses.
California-based US District Judge Casey Pitts, a Biden appointee, ruled that ICE cannot detain illegal aliens at immigration courts.
The Supreme Court previously ruled that federal district courts lack the statutory authority to issue nationwide injunctions.
However, Judge Pitts says he was able to issue a nationwide injunction in this case because the plaintiffs satisfied the requirements for class certification.
In January 2025, President Trump signed an executive order called “Protecting the American People Against Invasion.”
“It is the policy of the United States to faithfully execute the immigration laws against all inadmissible and removable aliens, particularly those aliens who threaten the safety or security of the American people. Further, it is the policy of the United States to achieve the total and efficient enforcement of those laws, including through lawful incentives and detention capabilities,” Trump said in his executive order.
Judge Pitts vacated the Trump Administration’s policy targeting illegal aliens at courthouses.
“For 80 years, Congress has commanded federal agencies to think before they act,” Judge Pitts wrote in a 70-page opinion. “That instruction—codified in the Administrative Procedures Act—does not require an agency to make the choice that a reviewing court might deem preferable.”
“Because the record before the Court demonstrates that ICE and EOIR failed to provide reasoned explanations for their actions, the Court concludes that each of the challenged policies is arbitrary and capricious in contravention of the APA,” the judge said.
This is the second time Judge Pitts has blocked the Trump Administration from making arrests at immigration courthouses.
Earlier this year, Judge Pitts blocked ICE from making arrests in his district in the Northern District of California.
JUST IN: Trump Endorsed Alan Wilson Wins GOP Runoff for South Carolina Governor
June 23, 2026
South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson has been projected to win the GOP primary runoff for South Carolina Governor.
Trump double-endorsed in the race after initially endorsing Lt. Governor Pamela Evette in May.
However, after Alan Wilson advanced to a runoff with Evette, Trump endorsed both of them, writing, “These were the two that I was hoping would get into a Runoff, and they did. I can’t hurt one of them by only Endorsing the other, so, therefore, I am going to Endorse, for Governor of South Carolina, both Pam Evette and Alan Wilson!”
Trump added, “It’s a Wealth of Riches – With either one you can’t go wrong. Vote for Pam or Alan — They will not let you down!”
I love the Wonderful State of South Carolina for every reason in the book, including the fact that it is “loaded up” with truly GREAT people and Political Leaders. There are two Highly Respected Candidates running to be your next Governor in the June 23rd Republican Runoff Election, your current Lieutenant Governor, Pam Evette, and your current Attorney General, Alan Wilson. Both have had amazing careers, and have been with me from the beginning. They are MAGA and America First all the way! These were the two that I was hoping would get into a Runoff, and they did. I can’t hurt one of them by only Endorsing the other, so, therefore, I am going to Endorse, for Governor of South Carolina, both Pam Evette and Alan Wilson! It’s a Wealth of Riches – With either one you can’t go wrong. Vote for Pam or Alan — They will not let you down! President DONALD J. TRUMP
Decision Desk called the race shortly after the polls closed.
Wilson took an early lead over Pamela Evette out of the gates.
Trump celebrated Wilson’s new Republican Nominee title on Truth Social.
Wilson will face Democratic State Representative Jermaine Johnson, who won the Democratic Primary earlier this month, in the general election, which he is expected to win.
South Carolina has not elected a Democratic governor since 1998.
NEW: Acting DNI Bill Pulte Has Fired Over 50 Career Deep State Intel Officials
June 23, 2026
Acting DNI Bill Pulte has fired over 50 career Deep State intel officials so far.
“The Deep State firings have begun” a source told CNN on Monday.
Firings at the Office of the Director of National intelligence started today, a source familiar with the matter told CNN. “The deep state firings have begun,” the source said, declining to give details on how many jobs had been cut.
Just over 50 career and political intelligence staff at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence have lost their jobs since Bill Pulte became the agency’s acting director, Friday.
Six career and political intelligence staff were terminated and 45 were sent back to their home agencies, according to three sources familiar with the personnel moves.
Pulte has been asking deputies and other directors for suggestions about cuts. Some of the ODNI deputies pushed for more cuts, but Pulte said that the 51 was enough for now, one of the sources said.
One source characterized the cuts as thoughtful and methodical. No staffers have been removed from the counterterrorism group.
No further firings are planned for now, two of the sources said.
Pulte officially began his job as Acting DNI last Friday.
Earlier this month, President Trump announced his nomination of US Attorney for the Southern District of New York Jay Clayton to serve as Director of National Intelligence.
However, Trump postponed Clayton’s confirmation until the Senators confirm his replacement for US Attorney for the Southern District of New York.
SUPREME COURT Sides with Trump Administration in Major 6-3 Immigration WIN — Makes It Far Easier to Deport Criminal Green Card Holders Accused of Crimes Involving Moral Turpitude
June 23, 2026
The U.S. Supreme Court delivered another significant immigration victory for the Trump administration on Tuesday, ruling 6-3 that federal immigration officials do not need “clear and convincing evidence” at the border before treating a lawful permanent resident accused of certain crimes as an applicant for admission.
Justice Clarence Thomas delivers the hammer: Border officers making “quick judgments on the spot” do NOT need clear and convincing evidence of guilt at the moment of parole. Proof can come later at removal proceedings.
The Court sided with the Trump administration in Blanche v. Lau, rejecting activist attempts to tie the hands of border officers and making it significantly easier to remove lawful permanent residents who commit serious crimes.
The case involved Muk Choi Lau, a Chinese national who became a green card holder in 2007. In May 2012, while facing criminal charges in New Jersey for selling nearly $300,000 worth of counterfeit clothing (a clear crime involving moral turpitude), Lau took a trip to China.
When he tried to return through JFK Airport in June 2012, immigration officers did exactly what they were supposed to do: they paroled him into the country instead of formally admitting him as a returning resident because of the pending charges.
That parole decision was critical. It allowed the Department of Homeland Security to later treat Lau as an applicant for admission rather than automatically being allowed back into the country as a green card holder.
After he pleaded guilty in 2013 to trademark counterfeiting and received probation, DHS moved to remove him on inadmissibility grounds.
After Lau later pleaded guilty to the counterfeiting charge, the federal government initiated removal proceedings. However, the Second Circuit intervened and ruled that border officials needed “clear and convincing evidence” that Lau had committed the crime before treating him as an applicant for admission.
The Supreme Court rejected that argument outright.
Justice Clarence Thomas, writing for the majority, was crystal clear:
“The Government correctly regarded Lau as an applicant for admission, so it properly charged him with inadmissibility. Nothing in the [Immigration and Nationality Act (INA)] required the border officer to have clear and convincing evidence that Lau had committed a crime involving moral turpitude before deeming him an applicant for admission.”
Chief Justice Roberts and Justices Alito, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett joined the opinion. The three liberal justices dissented, predictably whining about “immigration limbo” and trying to protect criminal aliens over American citizens and the rule of law.
The Court concluded that nothing in federal immigration law imposes such a requirement on frontline immigration officers making rapid decisions at ports of entry.
This ruling is a massive win for law and order. It affirms that border officers can make reasonable, on-the-spot decisions based on pending charges when deciding whether to parole a returning green card holder.
The full evidence of the crime can — and should — be presented later during removal proceedings, where it belongs. No more absurd technicalities shielding removable criminals.
WATCH: “Did They Screw Pratt?” – Trump Goes Off on California’s Rigged Elections, Reveals How Steve Hilton Beat the Cheat
June 23, 2026
President Trump delivers remarks in Macungie, PA
President Trump on Tuesday went off on California’s rigged elections while delivering remarks in Macungie, Pennsylvania, saying Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt got cheated and that California gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton only won his race because the feds intervened.
Trump responded to Pratt’s sham election earlier this month, saying, “Not possible for Spencer Pratt to have lost,” noting his massive 40,000 vote lead on election night. “3rd World Nation. Rigged Elections!” Trump continued. Trump has also said that Hilton only won because “there was too much heat on ’em” after robbing Pratt.
Trump was questioning California’s shady election rules, highlighting the law that a poll worker can be thrown in jail for a voting rights violation if they ask a voter to see their ID. And a voter’s identification “does not have to contain the voter’s address or be issued by a government agency,” according to the California Secretary of State’s office.
“How dare you ask me for my citizenship? Do you know in California, if you ask that question to a voter, you are criminally liable. In other words, they can put you in jail if you say, ‘Sir, you have proof of citizenship?’ They put you in jail if they ask that question. You’re not allowed to ask that,” Trump told the crowd. “Did you know that? It’s the craziest thing I’ve ever seen going on.”
Trump then went off on how they “screwed” Pratt. “It looked like he was going to win, or certainly be in the runoff, and then I started hearing rumors as the days went by, days and days went by, that Pratt is fading, he’s fading, I said they rigged the election,” Trump said. “And then lo and behold, he didn’t qualify, even though he was so far up.”
Trump further revealed that Trump-Endorsed California gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton “was definitely going to lose” until the US Attorney called the election offices and opened an investigation into the fraud. “About an hour after the call,” Trump said, they announced, “Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Hilton has won!”
“The election is totally rigged. California is totally rigged, all mail-in ballots, it’s a disgrace. We got to pass the Save America Act, okay?” Trump told the crowd.
WATCH:
Trump: Hey, did they screw the kid, Pratt? Boy, he’s leading, and all of a sudden he’s lost. And it was sort of interesting, the election. You ever see an election where they’re two and a half weeks in, an election that takes weeks to count the votes? After the evening, it looked like he was going to win, or certainly be in the runoff, and then I started hearing rumors as the days went by, days and days went by, that Pratt is fading, he’s fading, I said they rigged the election.
And then lo and behold, he didn’t qualify, even though he was so far up in the third place person, that it was almost impossible, and he didn’t qualify. And then it started happening with the next candidate, Steve Hilton, who’s running for governor. He was up in front, just about leading, no problem. And all of a sudden, about four or five days after —this is after the election is over —they said Steve Hilton is starting to lose votes. I said, “Here we go again.”
And I called up the US Attorney in California. They said, “We’re going to have a number in the next week,” next week. I called up the very powerful, very good US Attorney in California, and I said, “Do me a favor. Take a look. They’re trying to steal that election too.” I guess they called up. They said, “This is the US Attorney calling.” We have your great US Attorney here today, by the way, and your assistant US Attorney. They’re doing great. David, thank you.
But so, over the next week, he was definitely going to lose, but the US Attorney called: “We want to check your votes.” About an hour after the call, “Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Hilton has won!” So, had I not made that call, Steve Hilton would right now be looking, watching the election from home. So, I don’t know, he would have a great chance, but the election is totally rigged. California is totally rigged, all mail-in ballots, it’s a disgrace. We got to pass the Save America Act, okay?
Pratt emerged as an early leader in the primary for mayor, trouncing City Councilwoman Nithya Raman by about 40,000 votes on election night, but she staged a miraculous comeback with phony mail-in ballots. In an impossible upset, Raman surged, netting roughly 70,000 votes over Pratt and finishing nearly 30,000 votes ahead in the current results. Los Angeles is still counting the votes ten days after election day, with 7,000 votes remaining!
Pratt dominated with mail-in ballots received by election day, but those inserted after election day have heavily favored the Democrats.
And Pratt wasn’t only leading in the vote count. Polling data just days before the election showed that Pratt was more popular than Mayor Karen Bass, who is currently in first place! The prediction markets showed similar trends, with Polymarket odds at 76% for a Bass-Pratt runoff on election night.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Pratt recently announced his “Saving LA – Phase III” with an epic video monologue, declaring, “You can’t get rid of me that easily” and slamming primary opponents Nithya Raman and Incumbent Mayor Karen Bass as “morons.”
Pratt further revealed, “We have some recordings of one of your exalted candidates doing and saying something that would make her resign in shame.”
“I was saving it for the general election,” Pratt said. “Go ahead and pick your demon, certify your choice, and then you get to see it.”
