Senator Rand Paul Unleashes Fury On Dr. Fauci Simps
July 31, 2026
At a tense Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing on the COVID‑19 pandemic surrounding Dr. Fauci, Sen. Rand Paul clashed with Sen. Richard Blumenthal after ordering Dr. Anthony Fauci’s attorney removed from the room. Dr. Fauci, appearing under subpoena, repeatedly invoked his Fifth Amendment right against so-called self‑incrimination and declined to answer questions about his pandemic‑era decisions, citing Paul’s past public calls for his prosecution as the reason for his fear of legal exposure.
Fauci’s lawyer, David Schertler, attempted several times to address the committee from the witness table despite being told he was not recognized and had not been invited to testify or even sit at the same table as Fauci. Paul warned Schertler to “sit quietly” and reminded him that in a courtroom a judge could jail someone for such behavior, before ultimately directing security to escort the attorney out as cameras and broadcast feeds captured the confrontation.
After Schertler’s removal, Blumenthal, a Democratic senator from Connecticut, condemned the proceedings as a “short‑sighted act of desperation” and said they resembled a vendetta against a single individual rather than a good‑faith search for information. Blumenthal read from Fauci’s attorney’s letter describing Paul’s “years‑long public crusade” and warning that tweets about “putting Fauci in jail” created a well‑founded fear of prosecution, arguing that this context justified Fauci’s choice to plead the Fifth.
Paul responded by “schooling” Blumenthal, as the internet later described it, insisting that “the Fifth Amendment doesn’t work that way” because a witness cannot refuse to testify and then have their lawyer effectively testify in their place. Reasserting his authority as chair, Paul said Schertler “was out of order” and that ejecting him was appropriate, while vowing to move forward with a contempt vote for Fauci over his blanket refusal to answer the committee’s questions.

Watch: Mamdani Is Open to Forcing New Yorkers to Pay Cash Reparations for Slavery, Says ‘We Were Very Complicit’
July 31, 2026
New York City socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani would not rule out issuing cash reparations for the descendants of slaves living in the Big Apple, should a city commission currently reviewing the matter decide in favor of it.
The Root’s Charles M. Blow, in a podcast episode released this week, read, in part, a written statement then-mayoral candidate Mamdani had submitted to one of those groups studying the issue, saying, “New York City participated actively in the slave trade and furthered its legacy through racist institutions, policies and laws. The city should reconcile and repair this legacy of slavery, stolen wealth and discrimination.”
Blow noted one of the commission’s findings is due out next summer.
“If a commission studying reparations in this city recommended cash reparations for people impacted by slavery in New York City, would you support that recommendation? he asked.
Mamdani responded that he stood by his statement made as a candidate: “It’s the truth; it’s not a personal assessment.”
“We often think about slavery and the complicity in slavery as being exclusively to certain geographic areas of the country. Here in New York City, we were very complicit, and so I look forward to whatever those findings are,” the mayor elaborated.
“I can’t give you an answer in advance of them, but I can tell you that this is critically important, because this is also what it looks like to acknowledge what history truly was,” Mamdani added.
As I argued on a recent Western Journal podcast and in the new edition of my book “We Hold These Truths,” about the influence of the beliefs found in the Declaration of Independence throughout U.S. history, America’s record regarding slavery is actually commendable when measured against the backdrop of human history.
The Founders took the first steps in the modern era to bring an end to the institution, which had gone on for thousands of years and lamentably continues in the world to this day.
Pennsylvania voted to end slavery during the Revolutionary War in 1780, and Benjamin Franklin, a former slave owner, became the president of the Pennsylvania Abolition Society, whose mission was to have other states follow Pennsylvania’s lead.
By 1804, during President Thomas Jefferson’s first term, all the states north of Maryland had voted to phase out or end slavery. Again, it should be noted that no other governments around the world were doing so at this time, including the former mother country, Great Britain, which did not outlaw slavery in its empire until 1833.
The founders also banned slavery in the Northwest Territory in 1787 — preventing slavery from spreading to the future states of Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin — and made provision in the Constitution for ending the importation of African slaves, but not sooner than 1808 as a compromise with the Southern states.
In March 1807, President Thomas Jefferson signed the legislation into law so it could take effect on the earliest possible date, Jan. 1, 1808. The U.S. later fought the Civil War in the 1860s, which resulted in the emancipation of all the slaves, making it among the first nations in the world to do so.
I go into more of this history in my book and in the podcast below.
Evanston, Illinois, is the first city in the U.S. to enact reparations for its black residents, but the move has run into some legal challenges.
ABC affiliate WLS-TV reported last month that six non-black residents sued to block the city from paying $25,000 in reparations for 20th-century race-based housing discrimination.
“The city has already distributed over $7 million — using revenue from a local tax on legal marijuana sales — to hundreds of people in $25,000 increments to be used for home repairs, down payments on property, and interest or late penalties on property in the city,” the news outlet said.
The Trump Justice Department intervened in the suit last month, describing the program as “racially discriminatory.”
Assistant Attorney General Harmeet K. Dhillon of the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division said, “There are sound ways for a city to remedy past discrimination or direct resources to its most vulnerable citizens and neighborhoods. Simply handing out money based on race, however, is not the answer. It is race discrimination, pure and simple. And it is illegal.”
U.S. Attorney Andrew S. Boutros for the Northern District of Illinois added, “The Constitution demands that the government treat citizens as individuals, not as members of a racial class. Distributing public funds based on an individual’s ancestry or race divides the citizenry and establishes the very hierarchy the Equal Protection Clause was designed to dismantle.”
If Mamdani would like me, a white New Yorker who never owned slaves, to pay a black New Yorker who never was a slave, then I propose:
Every Muslim in NYC starting with Mamdani, should pay us for 9/11.
The 14th Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause, ratified in 1868, immediately following the Civil War, provides that no state [or local government] shall “deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”
So if Mamdani were to go forward with trying to pay reparations, expect there will be a Constitutional challenge that will likely make its way to the U.S. Supreme Court. And if the justices rule in fidelity with the Constitution, reparations will be struck down.
UPDATE: Spain Deploys Military To Chaotic Ceuta as the Enclave Is Completely Overrun by Migrant Invaders – Morocco Reportedly Agrees To Take the Illegals Back (VIDEOS)
July 31, 2026
The invasion is ongoing – Screengrab Social Media/X
The invasion of Europe is not a metaphor, as the whole world can see.
We have been reporting here on TGP on the absolute catastrophe that is ongoing in the North African Spanish enclave of Ceuta, where tens of thousands of military-age male migrants from Morocco and Algeria have invaded the town.
After local authorities lost control of the situation, Spain is deploying its military in a ‘major security response’.
Officials have confirmed that at least nine people died during the crossings.
“The Spanish government said the Armed Forces will support the Civil Guard in restoring order after local officials warned the city could no longer handle the influx. Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez and Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska are expected to visit Ceuta as Madrid scrambles to contain the crisis.
[…] ‘The situation is absolute chaos’, Rachid Sbihi, who heads an association representing Spain’s Civil Guard officers in Ceuta, told The Associated Press. ‘It’s not possible to give precise numbers, but there are thousands of migrants crossing’.
[…] Authorities have not identified a single cause for the sudden surge, though Ceuta officials have pointed to a recent Spanish Supreme Court ruling that limits the immediate return of migrants who arrive by sea without due process. Some migration advocates, however, questioned whether the ruling alone could explain the dramatic increase, arguing many migrants would likely have been unaware of the decision.”
BREAKING:
First clashes have broken out in the streets of Ceuta between Spanish citizens and Moroccan invaders.
“Furious Spaniards have been forced to chase migrants down the streets of a Spanish enclave after as many as 20,000 migrants flooded it this afternoon.
[…] Upon their arrival, the migrants, largely made up of people from Morocco and Algeria, went into the city of around 84,000.
In response, enraged Spanish citizens took to the streets to push them back. Many were seen waving Spanish flags and screaming at them.
As a group of migrants were seen running away, a loud police siren was heard in the background.”

“In light of the migration crisis unfolding in the Autonomous City of Ceuta following the entry of many thousands of migrants through the Tarajal border crossing, Spain and Morocco have agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation and proceed with the return “as soon as possible” of all migrants who have entered Ceuta illegally, in accordance with existing cooperation mechanisms.
Spanish Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska plans to travel to Ceuta to oversee the response to the crisis on the ground; he is also maintaining constant contact with his Moroccan counterpart, Abdelouafi Laftit, in order to strengthen bilateral cooperation so that they can overcome this unexpected crisis together.”
Breaking: Spanish intelligence believes that the invasion of Moroccan immigrants into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta is a false flag operation orchestrated by the Moroccan government on the orders of King Mohammed VI. SUICIDAL EMPATHY: Watch a Student From NYU Explain Why She Would Not Want Her Rapist Jailed (VIDEO)
July 30, 2026
Screencap of YouTube video.
You may have heard the term ‘suicidal empathy.’ It was coined by an academic and social scientist named Gad Saad, who uses the term to describe how leftists go so far over the edge trying to be empathetic that they end up putting themselves and other people in harm’s way.
Think about defunding the police. That was a classic case of suicidal empathy.
In the video below, Nick Shirley is talking to a student from New York University about the idea of closing down prisons and he uses the example of rapist being able to walk free.
She then goes on to say that she has been raped in the past, and that her rapist is roaming free. Then she explains how putting a rapist in jail would not fix what is wrong with them.
This is suicidal empathy in action. It’s also completely insane.
Shirley: “Let’s just say somebody who has raped a woman.”
Student: “Totally.”
Shirley: “Would you like them to be out in the street?”
Student: “I think my answer is yes. Even though that’s a challenging answer to say.”
Shirley: “So if you got raped, would you like your rapist to be out in the street?”
Student: “Well, let me finish, because I have been raped and they are out in the street, and I’m not sure them going to jail is a solution to whatever’s going on inside their heart or even my own heart that contributed to that experience that I’m having.
And I don’t want more people to get raped, but I don’t know for certain that going into a jail in the United States is going to shift anything inside of their operating system so that they’ll make a different choice again.”

Watch Jerry Seinfeld Artfully Deal With ‘Free Palestine’ Nutjobs Who Showed Up to Heckle His Show (VIDEO)
July 30, 2026
Screencap of Twitter/X video.
For the last few years, star comedian Jerry Seinfeld has been repeatedly targeted by anti-Israel nutjob hecklers who approach him on the street and turn up at his shows.
It just happened again during a live show and Seinfeld handled it beautifully. These people don’t seem to realize that it’s a bad idea to heckle a professional comedian.
Seinfeld turned the whole thing around on them as they were removed from the venue.
Comedian Jerry Seinfeld has been the target of antisemitic, pro-Palestine goons for a while. In February of last year, he was confronted by an activist while in New York for Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary. Seinfeld told that weirdo, with a straight face, that he does not care about Palestine…
The hecklers yelled something inaudible about Palestine.
“You’re back! They’re back!” Seinfeld said. “The protesters are back! I missed you.”
The audience booed them.
“You’re not doing well. It’s so hard for you. You’ve gotta … Let me explain something,” he continued. “You and I are in the same business. We’re in the same business. Our business is to get people to see things the way we see it. The problem is, you’re in the wrong place.”
The crowd continued booing and complaining about the hecklers.
“Do you hear how well I’m doing? This is what you want. You want to do well like I am. Look at the people here to hear me. Look at what happened to you,” Seinfeld said. “Because context is very important for your message. For example, if I was going to do my little comedy show that I do, if I went to an Australian Rules rugby game and I told this guy … if I said to this guy, ‘You check out, I’m going to do my comedy act here’ I would get that same reaction. I would get kicked out on my a** because that’s not where I belong.”
Watch the clip below:
Omg. Jerry Seinfeld is a LEGEND.
“Pro-Palestine” nut jobs interrupted his show, take a listen to his response. I can’t stop laughing.
“You just gave money to a Jew. That cannot be a good plan for you”
