An imam from Texas named Omar Suleiman who has led prayers before Congress is facing a formal rebuke over horrible comments he made, celebrating the news of the death of Senator Lindsey Graham.

Celebrating the death of Republicans has become commonplace on the left. We saw the exact same thing play out following the death of Charlie Kirk.

They don’t even try to hide it. They gleefully celebrate the death of their political adversaries openly on social media, then often act surprised when others react to them with disgust, or if there are consequences.

This case is especially repulsive, given that this is supposedly a man of God.

A Texas imam invited to pray before Congress is facing backlash on Capitol Hill after celebrating Sen. Lindsey Graham’s death in a social media post that wished him “an eternity in ruins” over his support for Israel.

Rep. Beth Van Duyne, R-Texas, plans to introduce a resolution on Wednesday that would formally condemn Omar Suleiman, the president and co-founder of the Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research, near Dallas.

“In other news, Lindsey Graham is dead,” Suleiman wrote on social media early Sunday morning, shortly after news broke that Graham had died. “Bye Lindsey. May you live an eternity in ruins for the ruins you helped create in Gaza. Ameen.”

Van Duyne, who represents the suburban Dallas district where Suleiman lives, said Congress must condemn his incendiary message, pointing to his 2019 opening prayer before the House, which he delivered at Democrats’ invitation.

“This type of action from a religious leader that claims to preach about love and not hate needs to be condemned,” Van Duyne told Fox News Digital in an interview. “That was anything but love. That was depravity.”

And to think, Democrats in Congress honored this man.

They told us it was about inclusion.

Vice President JD Vance appeared on the Joe Rogan podcast this week and the topic of the Los Angeles mayor race came up in their discussion.

It was immediately clear that both men think the primary election was a total sham, mainly due to the mail-in ballots that bumped Spencer Pratt off the ballot.

Rogan also pointed out that there is plenty of evidence that homeless people were basically bribed for their votes.

“That is insane! And then when you have direct evidence that they were recruiting homeless people and they were getting homeless people and giving them cigarettes and cash…to use their address in mail-in ballots.”

VANCE: “I wouldn’t be the Californian, Joe, who wakes up in the morning and says, you know what, I’m gonna go and vote for higher taxes because I don’t pay enough taxes…”

“The craziest thing about it too…so after the initial ballots all came in it was Karen Bass was number one, Spencer Pratt was right behind her, and then number three…Nithya Raman.”

“So, you would expect the mail-in ballots to be more or less like the original ballots in terms of one, two and three.”

“I’m not saying that Spencer Pratt’s going to win the mail-in ballots, but it just so happened that the third place person, in relative terms, did A LOT better than the first and second place person.”

“Such that the Republican was actually kicked out of the race so that there’s not actually a real election in California.”

Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania is still not over the Graham Platner controversy in Maine and he is harboring some anger for Bernie Sanders for pushing Platner’s candidacy.

Fetterman used a recent public appearance to slam Bernie over this and to seemingly chastise other people who supported Platner, asking what Platner’s appeal was.

When it comes to Graham Platner, John Fetterman has been more vocally critical than almost any other person in his party.

The Hill reports:

Fetterman also expressed frustration with fellow Democratic senators who backed progressive insurgent candidate Graham Platner in the critical Maine Senate race, despite the fact that he was not carefully vetted and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) had intensively recruited Democratic Gov. Janet Mills to run for the Maine Senate seat.

Fetterman said he was “angry” that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) championed Platner so forcefully and was reluctant to withdraw his support even after The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal reported in early June troubling allegations about the candidate’s past behavior.

“As a Democrat, I am angry at people like Bernie Sanders, that pushed that accused rapist. Why did so many people on that left embrace that accused rapist?” he said, referring to Platner.

“What was the appeal? Was it no record in public service? Was it the record of the Nazi ink? Was it the crazy things he said online? What was the appeal, roughing up his ex-girlfriends?” he asked.

“Why did you push these people? Why did you buy in and then plunge that most consequential Senate race now into chaos?” Fetterman fumed, arguing the implosion of Platner’s campaign has made it “more difficult” to beat Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) and win control of the Senate.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche on Wednesday suggested he is going to investigate and prosecute former Special Counsel Jack Smith for perjury.

Blanche faced Senate Judiciary Committee members in a confirmation hearing on Wednesday morning.

After batting down Democrat Senators, Blanche told GOP Senator Josh Hawley he is going to investigate Jack Smith after it was revealed the former special counsel spied on members of Congress and then lied under oath.

Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley on Tuesday revealed that former Special Counsel Jack Smith spied on 44 members of Congress and actually read their text messages.

It was previously reported that Jack Smith obtained “toll records” or ‘call logs’ of members of Congress.

In fact, Jack Smith said under oath that he did not read any text messages – but this is not true.

Jack Smith sat down for a deposition last December. Members of Congress asked him questions about his Arctic Frost investigation under oath.

Jack Smith lied under oath when asked if the records he requested included the contents of calls and texts.

“Did the records that you requested – the toll records from the members of Congress include the content of text messages?” the investigator asked.

“No,” Jack Smith said.

Josh Hawley went off on Jack Smith for spying on Congress and asked Blanche if he has thought about investigating the former special counsel.

“Have you thought about investigating Jack Smith for perjury?” Senator Hawley asked Todd Blanche.

“We take testimony in front of this body very seriously. Yes,” Blanche said.

“Good. I think he absolutely should be investigated. I hope that you prosecute him,” Hawley said.

“Yes, Senator,” Blanche said.

Conservative Attorney and Article III Project founder Mike Davis went off on Trump’s new DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin for “letting an invasion continue” in our country after he capitulated to the left-wing mob and scaled back ICE enforcement actions.  

As The Gateway Pundit reported on Tuesday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were directed to stop pulling over vehicles driven by illegal aliens following two fatal ICE-involved shootings in Texas and Maine.

It was later revealed who was behind Mullin’s actions: Dirty RINO Senator Susan Collins (R-ME). The Gateway Pundit reported that Collins took full credit for the cessation of ICE traffic stops, announcing on X that she spoke with Mullin on Monday night and “urged him to cease all non-urgent vehicle stops.” She further said that “critical questions” surrounding the ICE agents’ conduct in the shooting of 26-year-old Joan Sebastian Guerrero need to be answered with an investigation.

President Trump later responded to the ICE policy change, writing on Truth Social, “we CANNOT give up one of I.C.E.’s most important and effective crime-fighting tools, THE TRAFFIC STOP.” He continued, without mentioning Markwayne Mullin’s surrender, “It won’t happen on my watch.”

But Mike Davis went off during a Wednesday appearance on Bannon’s War Room, suggesting that Mullin is “too weak” or “too stupid” to protect America’s borders. He further slammed Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett for her recent ruling on birthright citizenship where she “constitutionalized and gave out birthright citizenship to 1.5 million Chinese birth tourists.”

“I’m going to light their asses up,” Davis said, accusing the pair of failing to understand that Americans are sovereign citizens with God given rights to “decide as we the people who comes and goes and who becomes one of us.”

And if there is anyone who doesn’t understand that, whether that’s Mark Wayne Mullen, who is letting an invasion continue in our country, or Justice Amy Coney Barrett, who just constitutionalized and gave out birthright citizenship to 1.5 million Chinese birth tourists, if anyone gets in the way of American sovereignty, I’m going to light their asses up, and I don’t care who they are.

That that is my mission at the Article III Project is to fight for American sovereignty, and that means we protect our border. That means we decide as we the people who comes and goes and who becomes one of us. And if you are too weak, if you are too stupid to understand that, you need to get the hell out of the way.

Meanwhile, Mullin has also come under fire on social media with calls for his resignation over his failure to stand up to the Democrats and RINO Susan Collins.

“You need to resign in disgrace after bending the knee to the radical left,” said conservative influencer Vince Langman. Independent reporter Nick Sortor slammed Mullin for using the “redundant” phrase “illegal alien criminals,” demanding that he deport “every single one,” not just the so-called noncriminals who entered our country illegally.

Fox News contributor Tomi Lahren called Mullin a RINO in response to Mullin’s damage control statement, where he claimed, “President Trump and I are on the same page.”

Markwayne Mullin responded to President Trump’s statement on Wednesday, walking back his actions and saying, “Illegal aliens will be arrested and deported wherever they are.”
