Joe Biden’s desperate legal battle to keep dozens of hours of potentially damaging audio recordings and transcripts hidden from the American people has collapsed.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit on Monday dissolved its temporary administrative injunction blocking the Justice Department from releasing redacted recordings and transcripts of Biden’s conversations with ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer.

The recordings were made in 2016 and 2017 while Zwonitzer was helping Biden prepare his memoir, Promise Me, Dad. The Justice Department later obtained the recordings during Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigation into Biden’s mishandling of classified information.

Hur’s team also prepared transcripts of the conversations.

The one-page order was issued by a three-judge panel consisting of Chief Judge Sri Srinivasan, an Obama appointee; Judge Gregory Katsas, a Trump appointee; and Judge Florence Pan, a Biden appointee.

The court wrote:

“Upon consideration of the plaintiffs’ emergency motion to dissolve injunction pending appeal, the government’s motion to dissolve administrative injunction, and Appellant Biden’s consent to the government’s motion, it is ORDERED that the administrative injunction entered on July 10, 2026, and extended on July 20, 2026, be dissolved.”

In other words, Biden finally surrendered.

The administrative injunction had temporarily prevented President Trump’s Justice Department from turning over the redacted materials to the Heritage Foundation and Mike Howell, who sued under the Freedom of Information Act.

That final roadblock is now gone.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that the D.C. Circuit rejected Biden’s emergency request for a longer injunction in a 2-1 decision on July 20.

The court nevertheless extended its temporary hold until August 3 to give Biden time to pursue additional review.

But instead of taking the fight further, Biden consented to the Trump Justice Department’s request to dissolve the injunction immediately.

The DOJ is now free to release the redacted audio recordings and transcripts to Heritage.

The recordings are distinct from Biden’s recorded interview with Hur. They capture Biden’s earlier conversations with Zwonitzer and were later obtained and examined by Hur’s investigators.

Hur cited those conversations repeatedly in his February 2024 report, describing them as “painfully slow,” with Biden struggling to remember events and straining to read and relay entries from his notebooks.

The special counsel found evidence that Biden “willfully retained and disclosed classified materials” after leaving the Obama White House, including classified information he discussed with his ghostwriter.

Hur nevertheless declined to prosecute Biden, infamously writing that the then-president could present himself to a jury as a “sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

That astonishing conclusion immediately ignited accusations that Biden received preferential treatment from a weaponized Justice Department while federal prosecutors aggressively pursued President Trump.

The Biden Justice Department initially fought the Heritage Foundation’s FOIA lawsuit and attempted to keep most of the materials concealed. After President Trump returned to the White House, however, the DOJ reversed course and announced that it intended to release redacted versions.

Biden then intervened personally, claiming the conversations were private and that releasing them would cause irreparable harm.

U.S. District Judge Dabney Friedrich rejected that argument in June, finding that Biden’s diminished privacy interests were outweighed by the overwhelming public interest in examining the evidence behind Hur’s politically explosive decision not to prosecute him. The D.C. Circuit agreed.

The Gateway Pundit also reported when the appeals court issued its initial temporary injunction on July 10.

Now that temporary victory has evaporated and Biden’s years-long effort to keep the tapes buried has ended in total surrender.

The American people may finally hear the evidence that Biden and his handlers fought so hard to keep hidden.

US Pauses Iran Strikes as Negotiations Resume but Trump Says He’s Ready to “Go Back to Very Strong Military Action” – Talks Will Proceed “Fast or Not at All.”

President Trump said on Monday that he agreed to halt the strikes against Iran, which had been ongoing for 13 consecutive days until Friday, to give negotiations with Iran another chance.

US forces on Thursday completed a 13th consecutive night of attacks against Iranian military capabilities in and around the Strait of Hormuz since the fighting resumed earlier this month.

Video from CENTCOM shows the most recent attacks from the nearly two-week-long airstrike campaign:

The attacks did not continue on Friday or through the weekend, however, as Trump says the countries mediating negotiations between the US and Iran asked him to halt strikes.

“We are in very deep talks with Iran. If they don’t work out, we will go back to very strong military action,” Trump told Axios in an interview on Monday.

Trump further said the attempt at diplomacy will have “not much time.” He added, “Either it goes fast or not at all.”

Trump previously said that he is weighing a “massive” attack on Iran, which would be “bigger than ever before.”

The decision to hold off on strikes followed US Central Command Commander Adm. Brad Cooper advising the President that the bombing campaign in the Strait of Hormuz had essentially reached its limit in degrading Iran’s ability to attack ships in the Strait of Hormuz, according to Axios.

Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Dan Caine also warned of depleting missile and drone interceptors to counter Iranian retaliation on US bases in the region, according to the New York Times. A spokesperson declined to comment on the leak of confidential advice the general gave to the President.

Meanwhile, over the weekend, the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen said they targeted two Aramco oil company facilities in Saudi Arabia.

Trump had threatened on Thursday to “hold Iran responsible” and inflict “major military punishment” upon Iran and the Houthis after the group began targeting shipping in the Red Sea on Wednesday.

“The U.S. will hold Iran responsible, in that the Houthis are a Surrogate and/or Proxy of Iran, and major military punishment will be inflicted upon Iran and, of course, the Houthis, themselves,” the President said before they attacked Saudi oil facilities.

The Democrats are NOT in a Civil War… (VIDEO)
July 27, 2026

The media keeps insisting the Democrat Party is locked in a civil war. Don’t believe it. This isn’t a battle over the party’s future. It’s a transformation that has already taken place.

The radical agenda isn’t being forced on unwilling Democrats. It’s being embraced by nearly every corner of the party. From open borders and government control to identity politics and policies critics argue expand federal power, the so-called “moderates” have largely fallen in line.

The infighting we’re seeing isn’t about whether to move farther left. It’s about who gets credit for leading the march. We’ll expose why the civil war narrative is little more than political theater and why the Democrat Party has fundamentally changed.

Then, President Trump took the stage at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and completely shattered tradition. Instead of delivering a lighthearted comedy routine, he used the moment to launch a blistering takedown of the fake news media and the political establishment that protects it.

It wasn’t about getting laughs. It was about confronting the press corps with the distrust they’ve spent years earning from millions of Americans.

McConnell Releases New ‘Proof of Life’ Photo

McConnell Releases New ‘Proof of Life’ Photo

McConnell Releases New ‘Proof of Life’ Photo
July 27, 2026

Senator Mitch McConnell on Monday released a new ‘proof of life’ photo amid a prolonged absence from the Senate.

McConnell posted a photo of himself smiling in a rehab bed next to his wife, Elaine Chao amid a 44-day absence.

“Senator McConnell continues his recovery from a fall at home in June,” read a statement from the Capitol’s Office of Attending Physician.

“OAP physicians visit with the Senator every day, discussing all aspects of his rehabilitation care. Since his discharge from hospital care, he has maintained a strenuous course of physical therapy and rehabilitation, including multiple sessions a day designed to rebuild strength and reduce the risk of future falls. His bout with childhood polio continues to be a significant factor in his mobility,” the statement read.

Earlier this month McConnell released his first proof of life photo shortly after Senator Lindsey Graham unexpectedly passed away.

Rumors began swirling last week that McConnell was ‘brain dead’ and being kept alive by machines.

According to the statement, McConnell did not suffer from a heart attack or a stroke.

The 84-year-old Kentucky Senator said he was hospitalized after he took a fall.

“My doctors have confirmed that I didn’t break any bones or suffer a concussion. I didn’t have a heart attack or a stroke. I don’t have any tumors or hemorrhages. But I was briefly unconscious and was taken to the hospital. While receiving excellent care over the past several weeks, I’ve also had to deal with a mild case of pneumonia,” McConnell said.

“Senator McConnell has experienced several falls throughout the year that have been attributed to his post-polio condition. He was admitted to the hospital four weeks ago after falling at home and sustaining minor injuries,” a statement from the Office of the Attending Physician said.

‘Tony’s Diary’ Indicates Fauci Believed COVID-19 Death Rate was Far Lower Than What He Told Lawmakers Under Oath

‘Tony’s Diary’ Indicates Fauci Believed COVID-19 Death Rate was Far Lower Than What He Told Lawmakers Under Oath
July 27, 2026

The Gateway Pundit reported that Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, recently released diary entries, Tony’s Diary Package, from former White House COVID advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci.

The release shows a bizarre obsession with fame and also indicates he believed the COVID death rate was far lower than what he told lawmakers while under oath.

The diaries were public as part of the committee’s ongoing oversight investigation.

Senator Paul shared a series of statments X about the diary and the release, “My investigation uncovered that Anthony Fauci kept a diary. What he wrote privately and what he told the country are two different stories. Today I’m releasing his entries from December 2019 through December 2022.”

“While publicly posturing as a champion of science, he was privately directing his staff to destroy federal records.  This is a blatant violation, a betrayal of the public trust, and further proof that Fauci engaged in a coverup from the very beginning of the pandemic. I’m going to ask him about this when he goes under oath this Wednesday.”

In testimony before the House Oversight Committee on March 11, 2020, Fauci told lawmakers, “The stated mortality over all of this when you look at all the data including China is about three percent. It first started off as two and three.”

Fox News notes that, when asked by Rep. Michael Cloud (R-TX) to compare the mortality from COVID-19 to the mortality of the seasonal flu, he responded, “I think if you count all the cases of minimally symptomatic or asymptomatic infection, that probably brings the mortality rate down to somewhere around one percent, which means it is 10 times more lethal than the seasonal flu.”

“I think that is something that people can get their arms around and understand.”

Yet, on page 19 of the document, he wrote, referencing former CDC Director Tom Frieden, ” Tom Frieden called me this AM and we discussed various aspects of the outbreak.”

“He and I are on the same page in thinking tht this is acting like a bad influenza in its transmissibility and that the denominator is much greater than 34,867 (above) making the case fatality rate (CFR) more like 0.2-0.3 % rather than 2.0%.”

Fauci also complained in the diary that Elon Musk was attacking him on X, and it clearly got under his skin (pages 1138-1140).

He wrote, “All of a sudden, Elon Musk has started to viciously attack me with tweets on Twitter,” and, “Many people in the press and outside are asking about and concerned about the attacks on
me by Elon Musk.

But Musk wasn’t wrong in his hope that Fauci faces consequences.

Following the release of the diary, Musk weighed in again with a fresh trolling, “Fauci smelled it and he also dealt it.”

Fauci is scheduled to testify on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. ET at a public hearing before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
