According to Campus Reform, “Former Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is expected to join Harvard University’s Institute of Politics in Cambridge, Massachusetts, as a resident fellow this fall”.

Mayorkas is known for  lying to the American public and for helping to facilitate open borders under the Biden regime.

Mayorkas would serve as a mentor and would join the fellowship class.

“Harvard did not deny the July 1 report, telling The Harvard Crimson that the institute will announce its bipartisan slate of fellows later this summer.”

One would be justified in doubting conservative or right-wing high-profile figures will be brought on as well.

“Resident fellows lead student study groups, hold office hours, and mentor undergraduates.”

This hire reveals a nexus yet again between academia and left-wing politicians and activists.

Sadly, Harvard and other similar institutions have become leftist indoctrination centers where open borders ideology is promoted.

“He may be joining a growing list of former Biden administration officials at Harvard’s Institute of Politics, including Pete Buttigieg and Rohit Chopra. The apparent appointment also comes as former Meet the Press executive producer Betsy Fischer Martin prepares to take over as IOP director. ”

The bias is obvious, and sadly, this follows a long tradition of left-wing indoctrination emanating from high-profile universities.

Mayorkas is a known liberal and open borders advocate who wreaked havoc during the Biden years.

One would expect Harvard not to be hiring Tom Homan or another leading Trump administration official.

This is the bias and indoctrination which has become synonymous with Harvard and other Ivy League schools.

Topline: Since 2019, school districts across 24 states and Puerto Rico have lost $225 million to fraud confirmed by the U.S. Department of Education inspector general’s semiannual report to Congress. No more than $67 million has been recovered.

Key facts: Open the Books and the State Financial Officers Foundation documented 74 instances of confirmed school fraud, averaging over $3 million each. There are far more that have gone unprosecuted or undetected.

Florida and Illinois schools each had the most instances of fraud with 11.

Indiana lost the most money — $44 million — due to inflated attendance numbers that increased state funding to two schools. The schools’ founder then allegedly sent the money to companies he owned. The schools closed in 2019, and four alleged conspirators were charged in 2024.

At Broward County Public Schools in Florida, information officer Anthony Hunter allegedly used district funds to buy $17 million worth of school supplies from a friend’s business, ignoring the competitive bidding process. In return, the friend hired Hunter and his son to work a security job and sold Hunter a house for $150,000 below market value, state prosecutors claim

Chicago Public Schools received $1 million of federal grants meant for Native American students, using an application that included more than 1,000 students of South Asian descent. The district was unable to verify how many students were actually in the program, and agreed to repay the money.

Fraud arguably hits small school districts the hardest because they have fewer budgetary resources to begin with. When Janis Bucknor, former head of Community Preparatory Academy in California, admitted to stealing $3 million from the school over five years, it amounted to one-third of all the school’s state and federal funding.

Bucknor spent $220,600 of the money on Disney vacations and also funded her internet shopping and private school tuition for her kids. She was sentenced to three years of home detention and ordered to repay the money.

Summary: The government loses hundreds of billions of dollars to fraud annually, but redirecting money away from children’s education is especially egregious.

A kind elderly California art gallery manager and grandmother beloved by her community has been savagely murdered by an unhinged young man, who later made a confession that should infuriate every resident of the town.

The Daily Mail reported on Sunday that 73-year-old Rachell Summers was stabbed at least 11 times outside Capitola Mall in Santa Cruz County in what authorities describe as a “random act of violence.” The incident occurred last Monday at noon in broad daylight.

At the time of her death, Summers had been writing an illustrated children’s book.

19-year-old Tyler Leibelt was arrested and charged with her murder. He also faces another charge for using a deadly weapon.

Court documents obtained by KSBW reveal just how gruesome the Summers’s murder was.

The documents reveal that after considering several possible victims while lying in wait just outside the Capitola Mall, Leibelt decided to race up to Summers and stabbed her in the back.

But he did not stop there.

Prosecutors reveal that the Summers suffered multiple stab wounds to her back, but also defensive stab wounds to her forearms, and to her center chest. All told, she was stabbed more than 11 times.

Leibelt proceeded to run into the mall after the killing. In the process, he left behind a substantial amount of evidence, including a trail of the victim’s blood.

Leibelt also tossed a knife that was later recovered. He had purchased the weapon just a few moments before the killing at a Big 5 Sporting Goods store.

The killer arrived at a nearby gas station to purchase a beverage. Then, he called the police to confess to his crime and surrendered.

While being interviewed by the cops, Leibelt made a startling confession.

“He indicated that he had had homicidal fantasies for a while and that he had previously disclosed these fantasies, but he ‘kept getting let out’ of custody,” KSBW reported.

The report added that Leibelt said he had “sustained thoughts and fantasies about murdering someone… he has had them since puberty.”

The court filing obtained by KSBW additionally reveals that Leibelt was a ticking time bomb months earlier. Specifically, it notes Leibelt has a November gun violence restraining order issued against him.

Sheriff’s deputies say that Leibelt had “expressed a desire to cause a mass casualty event.” They also noted that he “wrote a goodbye letter expressing a desire to kill as many people as possible.”

Per the Daily Mail, Leibelt appeared in court on Wednesday for his arraignment, which has been continued until July 29.

He is being held without bail.

In late 2020, we reported on China’s influence in the 2020 election.  We then asked who was running Biden.

Real Robert reminded us of an article from the Gateway Pundit from December 2020.

In the article in December 2020, Jim Hoft reported that China was involved in the overthrow of the 2020 election.  The Gateway Pundit reported that a video was released in Mandarin Chinese of a phone call request for fake ballots customized by a Chinese factory. The manufacturer was reportedly in Kwangtung, China.

After the 2020 Election, the Biden regime did nothing that hurt China.  It was like China ran the US these past four years.

Back in February of this year, War Secretary Pete Hegseth announced that the Pentagon was cutting ties with Harvard and other Ivy League schools for basically being too woke for the U.S. Military.

For years, these schools had a fellowship program affiliated with the military, but as Hegseth explained, it is impossible to serve in the military while being told by your college that the country you serve is a horrible place.

Now Hegseth has announced the schools that will take the place of the Ivies in this program.

Hegseth turns to University of North Carolina, Virginia Tech after cutting Ivy League ties

The Defense Department has selected the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Virginia Tech to host a revamped fellowship program for senior military officers — the first universities approved after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth severed partnerships with top universities.

The two universities will participate in the new Senior Service College Fellowship, a 10-month professional military education program that will serve as an alternative to traditional war colleges. Additional university partners will be announced at a later date, according to the department.

“We are deeply honored to participate in the Senior Service College Fellowship program. The program fits well within the context of our mission of service, and we take tremendous pride in our deep, longstanding relationship with the United States military,” Lee H. Roberts, UNC’s chancellor, said in a statement.

The announcement follows an earlier move from Hegseth to bar military officers from attending graduate programs at several elite universities including Harvard University, Brown University, Princeton University and Yale University.

Hegseth, who graduated from Princeton University and Harvard Kennedy School, argued that the universities had become “woke breeding grounds of toxic indoctrination.”

“We demand that senior service colleges work to sharpen our war fighters on genuine national security issues, not social justice activism,” the Pentagon chief said.
