The US military on Wednesday evening launched its 12th consecutive night of strikes against Iran.

President Trump recently said the ceasefire with Iran is over after Tehran struck vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.

On Tuesday night, CENTCOM struck aircraft hangars, drone storage facilities and maritime capabilities.

At 8 p.m. ET on July 21, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) successfully completed the 11th consecutive evening of strikes against Iran.

CENTCOM assets targeted Iranian military operations centers, maritime capabilities, aircraft hangars, drone storage facilities, and military logistics infrastructure to further degrade Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

Over the past three months, Iran has attacked more than 30 commercial vessels transiting the international waterway vital for regional and global trade. The unwarranted attacks have endangered hundreds of innocent mariners and undermined freedom of navigation.

Despite Iranian aggression, the Strait of Hormuz remains open for commercial vessel transit. Since early May, CENTCOM forces have helped facilitate the transit of approximately 900 commercial vessels and 450 million barrels of crude oil.

18 US service members have been killed in action since the beginning of the US-Iran war.

Igniting fears of an out-of-control tool engaging in cyberattacks.

Artificial intelligence leaders at OpenAI had to admit one of its models under testing exploited a hidden flaw to escape control and proceeded to hack rival company Hugging Face’s servers.

CEO Sam Altman called it ‘an autonomous, first-of-its-kind breach’.

“ChatGPT maker OpenAI said late Tuesday that its artificial intelligence system hacked into another AI company on its own in what the company called an ‘unprecedented cyber incident’.”

‘We had a significant security incident during evaluation of our models’, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said in a statement posted on social media.

AI startup Hugging Face said last week that it had detected an intrusion into its data processing systems that it suspected was caused by an AI agent autonomously acting on its own.

‘We suspected last week’s cyberattack might have come from a frontier lab, given the sophistication of the agent’, Hugging Face co-founder and CEO Clément Delangue said in a statement. ‘Turns out it did!’”

Yemen’s Houthi rebel group targeted tankers in the Red Sea on Wednesday, threatening to escalate the Iran war to a regional conflict. 

As The Gateway Pundit reported on Monday, Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen have also imposed a naval blockade on the Bab ​el-Mandeb strait, the gateway between the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden near Saudi Arabia’s western coastline. By stopping Saudi oil exports to Asia, the blockade could reduce global oil supply by 7%, Reuters notes.

The Houthis’ armed forces described the blockade in a statement as “a maritime embargo ⁠against the criminal Saudi enemy, based on the equation of ‘an eye ​for an eye’, effective immediately.”

Stéphane Dujarric, a spokesperson for U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres, warned on Monday that the blockade risks an “even wider” regional conflict, CBS reported. “We’ve seen the reports and are very much concerned by the renewed Houthi threats against Saudi Arabia, against freedom of navigation, which leads to the risk of an even wider regional escalation,” Dujarric said.

President Trump responded to the Houthis’ threat yesterday, telling reporters, “We’ll have to see what happens,” noting that no attacks had taken place. “If something like that happens, we take care of it,” he added, pointing to past actions taken against the Houthis like Operation Rough Rider in Spring 2025, when they last targeted shipping in the Red Sea.

“I think that if there is something like that, we’ll just have to take care of business,” he added.

Now, the Houthis have taken credit for an attack on one tanker off the Saudi coast and claimed to have targeted another.

Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi rebels claimed to attack a commercial oil tanker in the Red Sea on Wednesday, a move that could further snarl shipping.

The U.K. Maritime Trade Operations Centre said Wednesday it received reports of a tanker being hit by an “unknown projectile” off the coast of Saudi Arabia in the Red Sea, causing an onboard fire. No casualties were reported.

At around the same time, a spokesperson for the Houthis said on social media that the group carried out an operation to attack two Saudi oil tankers. Days earlier, the Houthis threatened a maritime embargo against Saudi Arabia, which has fought the Yemeni group for years.

The apparent strike could pose further problems for a shipping industry that is already struggling with Iranian threats to attack unapproved ships in the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial waterway that connects the Persian Gulf to the world’s oceans.

This comes as President Trump issues new warnings against Iran, threatening to hit one power plant or bridge for every ship they hit in the Strait of Hormuz after Iran attacked another tanker near the coast of Oman on Tuesday.

Iran threatened to retaliate against attacks on its infrastructure by targeting a “powerful and decisive response” against infrastructure and US interests across the region.

President Trump finally appears to be finally growing tired of Senate Leader John Thune, after repeatedly defending him despite his failure to lead Senate Republicans in passing the SAVE America Act. 

While speaking to supporters in Georgia, Trump urged “everybody” to call John Thune and demand that the Senate terminate the filibuster and “approve everything,” including the SAVE Act.

The House of Representatives sent the SAVE Act to the Senate a fourth time on Wednesday while Trump was speaking, attaching it to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and sending the bill to the Senate. 

“I have to say Mike Johnson and Congress have done a great job, but we’re having a hard time in the Senate. What they are doing, it’s just not right,” Trump told the crowd while discussing the SAVE America Act at his rally in Marietta, Georgia.

“Congress is going to pass it again. They passed it three times. They are going to pass it again. It’s like the senate is a place you send things when you want them to die.”

Trump continued, “We’re not going to take this any longer, we’re not gonna take it. You know, I’m trying to be nice, trying to be really nice.”

“Look, what they should do, very simple,” Trump said, demanding the Republican controlled Senate terminate the filibuster, “because the Democrats going to do it!”

“The democrats are going to terminate the filibuster as soon as they have a chance and then they go approve Puerto Rico and D.C. as a state, they get four more senators, they’re gonna end up with 12 more congressmen, they’re gonna get like 40 electoral votes,” Trump added.

“If they are allowed to do that, by that time, I’ll be sitting home, and I’m not a big crier; I don’t think you want to see me cry…  but I may be crying. I’ll be sitting home, and I’ll say I told them.”

Trump further demanded, “Everybody call John Thune at the Senate. He’s the leader of the Republican Party. And tell him to get this stuff approved!”

President Trump has long called Thune out for “playing it too soft,” but has seemingly been patient with the RINO Senate Leader.“

He’s only a couple of votes short, but that’s what being a leader is,” Trump said of Thune’s claim that he doesn’t have the votes to nuke the filibuster in March. “That’s part of being a leader. You have to get the votes.”

Trump has also previously questioned Thune’s leadership abilities, calling him out over his repeated refusal to exercise his right as leader and fire MacDonough. “I cannot understand it. A leader has the right to fire the person at will and put somebody else there,” Trump said late last month.

“We get so many negative rulings from her, the parliamentarian. She’s been there for years, and she was put there by Harry Reid and Barack Hussein Obama.”

Instead of calling Thune out by name, Trump has slammed Senate Republicans collectively.

Trump previously went off on Senate Republicans last month after the Democrats revealed their plans to nuke the filibuster when they reclaim the Senate with radical left candidates, expand the Supreme Court, and impose term limits on justices.

Trump has been demanding that Republicans nuke the filibuster since October 2025, but Thune refused to listen. Now, the Democrats are going to overhaul our system of government with their Communist agenda.

Trump said he will no longer call the Democrats “Dumocrats,” and that “The title of DUMB will revert to the Republicans who allowed this horrible calamity to happen to our Party, and our Nation, itself.”

An illegal alien released into the US by Barack Obama killed three people in Salisbury, North Carolina, on Saturday night.

Javiel Pena Sola, an illegal alien from El Salvador, struck a vehicle on Saturday night and fled the scene.

Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene and one of the victim was airlifted.

Sola has prior convictions for reckless endangerment in Maryland and an arrest for escaping from custody.

Per Fox News reporter Bill Melugin:

DHS confirms that the driver arrested for killing three people in a hit and run crash in Salisbury, NC on Saturday is a Salvadoran illegal alien with prior convictions for reckless endangerment, failure to stop after an accident involving damage, and driving without a license in Maryland, plus an arrest for escaping from custody.

DHS says after his arrest for escaping from custody in Maryland in 2016, local law enforcement honored an ICE detainer and handed over Javiel Pena Sola to the custody of ICE Baltimore, but the Obama administration released him back into the country two months later.

Sola has now been charged with three felony counts of felony hit and run involving serious injury or death. He was found by a police K-9 after he tried to flee the scene of the crash.

ICE lodged another detainer this week and asked North Carolina to transfer Sola to federal authorities.
