‘C’est la vie’, Globalists.
After years of being mistreated by the Euro-Globalist leaders, the United States has apparently started closing the door on their transatlantic needs.
On September 9, France will hold the first edition of their International Space Summit, that they are billing as ‘an opportunity to open a dialogue for all to meet the challenges of our times for the space sector’.
Be that as it may, Emmanuel Macron and his boys will have to make do without some of the industry’s US top heavyweights.
SpaceX and Blue Origin are reportedly among four American companies that have canceled attendance at the Paris summit.
According to France’s ministry for higher education, research and space, Stoke Space and Starcloud also pulled out.
JUST IN: SpaceX, Blue Origin, & 2 other U.S. space companies reportedly pull out of Emmanuel Macron’s International Space Summit in Paris.
“’It’s hard not to link it to the rumours of pressure’, a ministry spokesperson told Agence France-Presse (AFP). ‘We obviously want to continue working with our US partners and allies, even though strategic about-turns and political pressures sometimes make the task needlessly complex’, the spokesperson added.”
“The White House official also told industry representatives that ‘France did not coordinate with the US on the summit, accused the country of ‘anti-competitive practices’, and suggested the event’s panels were not designed to include the American perspective and may diminish US industry efforts’.”
“Elon Musk’s SpaceX, Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin, rocket maker Stoke Space and Starcloud, a startup that is trying to launch data centers in space, notified French authorities on Thursday that they were ‘canceling their participation’ in the event, according to an official from the French ministry of higher education, research and space.”
Can Putin Achieve a Mass Mobilization? The Demographics Say Yes
September 3, 2026

Ukrainian intelligence assessments and Western reporting say Vladimir Putin is preparing a new mobilization of 300,000 to 500,000 men, to be launched after Russia’s September 18-21 State Duma elections. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has repeated this claim since late July, citing internal Russian documents obtained by Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence Directorate.
The Economist, citing sources close to the Kremlin, reported a similar range of 300,000 to 400,000, planned for a decentralized rollout through regional governors rather than a single nationwide decree. Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate has put the total higher, telling Euronews the figure could reach 600,000 over 2026 and 2027 combined.
Russian officials deny the reports. Putin himself called them complete nonsense on September 2, describing them as an information attack, and Dmitry Medvedev, UN Ambassador Vasily Nebenzya, and the State Duma’s defense committee have issued similar denials. Russian officials made the same denials before Putin signed Decree N647 ordering partial mobilization in September 2022. That decree was never formally revoked, leaving the legal mechanism for a new call-up already in place.
Gauging the mood inside Russia is difficult, since most domestic reporting comes from pro-Kremlin sources. Claims that the civilian population opposes the war, or that soldiers do not wish to fight, may hold for a portion of the population, as varying opinion does in any society, or they may not reflect the broader picture at all. Either way, sentiment alone is hard to measure.
Volunteer recruitment is a more objective indicator, and the contract system that has absorbed battlefield losses without a second formal mobilization is faltering. German researcher Janis Kluge’s tracking of regional recruitment budgets found that daily sign-ups fell to roughly 800 in early 2026, about 20 percent below the same period in 2025, even as regional bonuses climbed to record levels.
The Kyiv Post reported Ukrainian intelligence figures showing recruitment missed its target by roughly 30,000 in the first quarter of 2026 alone. Zelensky said Russia recruited about 221,000 troops in the first seven months of the year, compared with 225,500 casualties over the same period, meaning losses have outpaced recruitment.
Putin has continued to expand the army’s authorized size on paper regardless. United24 Media reported that the authorized strength of the armed forces rose to 2,426,130 personnel in July 2026, including 1,535,000 active service members, up from roughly 1.9 million authorized and just over one million active before the war. Three of the six wartime decrees expanding the force have been signed in the past six months, widening the gap between paper strength and what volunteer recruitment can fill.
The reported plan to conduct the next mobilization through regional pressure rather than a single national announcement appears designed to avoid a repeat of September 2022, when the call-up triggered mass border crossings and, according to Kyiv Post, a wave of protests and detentions nationwide.
Zelensky has argued that Russian domestic polling shows public opposition to mobilization specifically, distinct from broader support for the war, and that this is why the Kremlin is timing any action for after the elections rather than before them.
Some Western analysts have also asked whether, given the number of war dead, the size of the existing military, and the number of military-age men who have fled the country, Putin could call up such a large number of conscripts. A broader question is whether, even if the men could be found, Moscow could send them to the front without causing a political or operational rupture.
Russia’s estimated pool of men aged 20 to 39 stands at roughly 19.4 million, the core group eligible for the draft. The Free Russia Foundation estimates that 4 to 5 million men aged 20 to 39 already serve in the military, law enforcement, or defense industries; that more than 800,000 hold exemptions from the draft due to labor-market qualifications; and that around 20 percent are unfit for service on health grounds.
Battlefield deaths since February 2022 range from a documented floor of 352,000, confirmed by the independent outlet Mediazona, to a Western intelligence estimate of nearly 500,000, cited by the UK’s GCHQ. CSIS estimates that total casualties, including those killed and wounded, number 1.4 million. However, some of those wounded may have returned to service.
Estimates of draft-age men who left the country to avoid conscription range from a documented lower bound of 150,000 as of September 2022 to aggregate figures approaching 700,000. Even considering the high end of losses, as well as those missing, those who fled, and those who are nondeployable, the remaining pool of military-age men still numbers roughly 10 million.
However, this figure includes only men aged 20 to 39. When all military-age men are considered, the number increases dramatically. According to official demographic cohort data from the Russian Federal State Statistics Service, Russia has approximately 23.5 million men aged 35 to 59. Even after subtracting the overlap of men aged 35 to 39, as well as those already in uniform, wounded, killed, exempt, or who have fled, the recruitment pool expands by tens of millions. A call-up of 300,000 to 500,000 still represents around 3 percent of prime military-age men and an even smaller share of the expanded demographic.
The numbers indicate that a mobilization of 300,000 to 500,000 is achievable given Russia’s demographic base, with room to spare. The constraints that matter are political timing, the capacity to train large numbers of new personnel without further degrading unit quality, and the Kremlin’s willingness to absorb the domestic backlash a visible call-up would bring.
However, the USSR existed for over 70 years, subjecting the civilian population to repression, surveillance, control, and poverty without being overthrown. Putin has shown his indifference to appeasing the civilian population, even with an election approaching, because the Kremlin exercises tight control over Duma election outcomes, regardless of how the population feels about the war.
Trump Will Demand Repayment From the EU Over Biden’s Massive Military Aid to Ukraine
September 3, 2026
Trump: Biden’s transfers to Ukraine are much more damaging to US stockpiles than Iran’s military operations
Rather belatedly, but it will be demanded.
In the context of a social media burn against ‘SCUM’ journalists who are suggesting that the missile and ammo stockpiles would be dangerously low, President Donald J. Trump suggested that the European Union should repay the US for the untold billions that creepy Joe Biden’s administration sent to Ukraine.
UPDATE: President Trump indicates the United States will be asking for money BACK from Europe because Biden gave away hundreds of billions to Ukraine and NATO, “free of charge”
“Europe would have paid for — If they were only asked, but we will be asking for that money, though… pic.twitter.com/O6g2ULJ9el
“Donald Trump on Thursday criticized his predecessor, Joe Biden, for providing Ukraine with hundreds of billions of dollars in aid and ammunition for free, believing that the Europeans should have borne the cost and announcing his intention to ask them for the money.
‘Hundreds of billions of dollars have been given for free to Ukraine and NATO, money that Europe would have paid if it had just been asked, but we will claim this money, even if it’s a little late!’ the US president wrote on Truth Social.”
“Under Biden, the federal government sent billions in military aid to Kyiv amid its war against Russia, which Trump repeatedly criticized before and since returning to the White House. Last year, the White House and Europe coalesced around a plan for Washington to send weapons to Ukraine in transactions financed by allies on the continent.”
“Trump insisted that ‘we have virtually unlimited amounts of Mid to High Grade Ammunition’, and called reports indicating the contrary ‘treasonous’. He said the military was rebuilding its stockpile by taking munitions ‘for ourselves, the U.S.A., rather than selling them to others’.
‘The people and Media Outlets that keep harping on the fact that we have no ammunition (And they are 100% wrong!), are actually treasonous’, he wrote. ‘They do it because they would rather see the United States LOSE a War that we’re easily WINNING than see me WIN!’”
President Trump Announces New Acting Secretary of the Army
September 3, 2026
President Trump on Thursday evening announced a new Acting Secretary of the Army after Dan Driscoll resigned.
US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll resigned from his role on Monday.
Dan Driscoll resigned after months of tension with Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.
“I am pleased to announce that Adam Telle, the current Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works, will become Acting Secretary of the Army, effective immediately. He is a Great Patriot, who is respected by all. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP” Trump said on Thursday evening.
Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell is Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s top choice to replace Army Secretary Dan Driscoll.
Hegseth is reportedly floating Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell to replace Driscoll, according to CBS News and Semafor.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has told people close to him that Sean Parnell would be his top choice for secretary of the Army, several senior officials told CBS News.
Parnell is currently chief Pentagon spokesperson and a former Army officer.
A Defense Department spokesperson said: “The DOW [Department of War] doesn’t comment on private conversations between administration officials.”
The White House is looking at names for a replacement for Army Secretary Dan Driscoll, who has submitted his resignation after months of tension with Hegseth. White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles is leading the process to name his successor.
Hegseth called Adam a “great patriot.”
Huge congrats to Adam. Strong and whip smart. He is indeed a great Patriot — and will be an immediate asset to the @USArmy. https://t.co/AOOlUgw4E6
SOFT-ON-CRIME DISASTER: Soros-Backed Prosecutor Mary Moriarty Left a Repeat Threatener on the Street — Now Two Neighbors Are Dead and Three Cops Are Shot
September 3, 2026
On Wednesday, Carlton Johnson II opened fire inside his downtown high-rise. Two men are dead. Three Minneapolis officers are wounded.
The far-left county attorney who declined to take him off the street is the same prosecutor. The Gateway Pundit has been warning about for years.
Carlton Neal Johnson II, 35, opened fire Wednesday afternoon at the Shoreline Plaza apartment building in downtown Minneapolis, according to authorities.
Investigators said the rampage began outside the building during a child-custody exchange. Johnson allegedly shot a woman believed to be the mother of his child before shooting two building employees.
Johnson then traveled to the ninth floor, where he fatally shot two residents before being killed during an exchange of gunfire with police.
Two Minneapolis police officers were struck by gunfire, one in the leg and another twice in the abdomen. A third officer suffered other injuries. All three officers are expected to recover.
The child involved in the custody exchange was not injured.
But Johnson’s violent outburst did not come without warning.
Court records connected to an eviction case describe months of threatening and increasingly erratic behavior, according to Alpha News.
Johnson allegedly assaulted a resident on March 23.
On June 11, he reportedly walked through the apartment complex openly displaying a firearm, entered the management office with the weapon visible, and told other residents that he had obtained a new gun and “would kill someone.”
Two days later, Johnson allegedly flashed the gun at people outside the building.
On June 19, he reportedly made additional threatening statements about using a firearm and lifted his shirt to show the weapon to a security officer.
Then, on June 25, Johnson allegedly threatened one resident with the firearm and pointed it at another resident in a common area. Police were called, but Johnson allegedly confronted staff members and attempted to discover who had reported him.
Despite the disturbing allegations, Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty’s office declined to prosecute Johnson, WCCO Radio reported.
According to Moriarty, police reported that Johnson possessed a valid permit to carry and that the weapon “did not leave his waistband.”
Moriarty claimed prosecutors found “insufficient evidence to prove a charge beyond a reasonable doubt.”
“On June 25, Minneapolis Police responded to a call about Carlton Johnson displaying a firearm to another individual,” Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty shared.
“MPD conducted further investigation and determined Mr. Johnson, who had a legal permit to carry, displayed the weapon but it did not leave his waistband. MPD submitted a case to HCAO on Aug. 20, which was quickly reviewed by an experienced attorney in accordance with established protocol. It was determined that the case likely could not be charged due to insufficient evidence to prove a charge beyond a reasonable doubt. The HCAO also flagged the conduct for Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) screening. Additional review found insufficient evidence to proceed with petitioning for an ERPO on the June 25 incident.”
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Moriarty has repeatedly faced criticism over her soft-on-crime prosecutorial policies.
In 2025, the Trump Justice Department launched an investigation into Moriarty’s policy directing prosecutors to consider defendants’ race and age during plea negotiations.
The Gateway Pundit also reported that Moriarty’s office declined to criminally charge a Tim Walz administration employee accused of causing approximately $20,000 in damage by keying multiple Teslas. Her office instead placed him in a diversion program.
Yet Moriarty has aggressively pursued law-enforcement officers, including filing felony charges against ICE agents involved in incidents during federal immigration operations.
Minnesotans deserve to know why an armed man accused of assaulting residents, threatening to kill someone, intimidating apartment employees, and brandishing a handgun did not face charges before his alleged threats became a deadly reality.
The warning signs were there.
The residents saw them. Building management documented them. Police responded to them.
