Today, a reportedly deranged man with a knife turned a cinematic visit to the Athens Acropolis into a bloody trip to the emergency room for two US tourists.

Greek City Times reported:

“Two Greek-American tourists were injured in a knife attack near the Acropolis in Athens on Tuesday morning after a man allegedly began threatening passers-by before launching the assault.

The attack occurred on the pedestrian street between the southern entrance to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum, one of Greece’s busiest tourist areas. The victims, a man and a woman, were visiting the historic site when they were attacked.”

“The woman sustained minor injuries to her leg, while the man suffered more serious wounds to his arm and was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital by ambulance. Police reportedly applied a tourniquet to stem heavy bleeding.

Authorities quickly detained the alleged attacker, a 60-year-old man who police believe may have been experiencing psychological issues. Greek media reported he had been threatening other people with a knife before the attack, prompting a member of the public to alert police.”

Associated Press reported:

“The attacker was detained at the scene and was to appear in court before a prosecutor later Tuesday to be formally charged, police said. Authorities did not provide further details on his identity, in line with Greek law regarding the identification of suspects. The motivation for the attack was not immediately clear, but police said the assailant appeared to have been suffering from psychological problems.

The incident did not lead to any closure to the sites, which continued operating as usual. Greek media reported that the assailant had allegedly been randomly threatening passersby with a knife, and that police had been alerted by a member of the public.

The attack occurred shortly after 8 a.m. local time, just as the ancient site opened. Early morning visits to the Acropolis are popular as they avoid the intense midday summer heat on the exposed hill, where there is little shade. Greece is currently experiencing its first heat wave of the summer, with temperatures forecast to reach 38 degrees Celsius (100 degrees Fahrenheit) in Athens and 41 degrees Celsius (105 Fahrenheit) in some parts of the country.”

Self-identifying transgender Maine Senate candidate Ashley Webb recently claimed on a podcast that he believes he has ovaries and a uterus and that he leaks mucus during a monthly period cycle. 

Webb is quickly becoming the face of transgender insanity.

During a discussion with Trans podcaster Amethysta Herrick, released on Sunday, Webb said he gets a menstrual cycle, and that he leaks “like a mucus,” which doctors can’t explain. It’s unclear where the so-called mucus is leaking from, but he should probably get that checked out or take a shower.

Webb, a transgender activist, went viral during a Democratic Party debate this week after claiming that his transparency makes him qualified for the seat. “I wouldn’t lie to the people, and I wouldn’t deceive the people,” he claimed while wearing a dress and pretending to be a woman.

At one point, he claimed the trans community is being “dehumanized,” adding, “They say that we want to hurt people.” He continued, “I don’t want to hurt anybody. I just want to use the bathroom, and if they want me to use the men’s room, I will, but I don’t want to be assaulted.”

During the recent podcast interview, Webb claimed that he discovered that he’s intersex “through medical records that don’t add up, and birth records,” telling a bizarre story about how his birth records were mishandled and then destroyed. He then claimed that he ovulates and gets the symptoms of ovulation.

“I would um, like, I would feel really good on like the 15th day of every cycle, and it was a 39, 29-day cycle that I was experiencing,” he said. “During that time, like I also leak like a mucus, which they can’t really explain.”

Even the interviewer didn’t appear to buy his story. After his outrageous claim about getting a monthly cycle, Herrick responded, “Oh, interesting, interesting. You want to call yourself transgender, despite not necessarily knowing what all parts are inside.”

Webb went on to explain that the doctors gave him the transgender label, likely diagnosing him with gender dysphoria, and that “the intersex community pretty much tossed me out and didn’t want to talk to me.”

“I thought I had ovaries and possibly a uterus, and I was asking them like, ‘I have these CAT scans. Can you take a look?’ and you know, tell me what you think. And I guess it annoyed them, so they kicked me out.”

Others on social media are roasting him over the viral clip and past claims about having a monthly cycle. Some are even suggesting he belongs in a mental institution.

Webb has been living in this delusion for several years. As the Gateway Pundit reported, resurfaced Reddit postings that appear to be from Ashley Webb, he writes that during his “monthly period,” he bleeds out of his anus or his genitalia. “When you don’t have the proper hole, it finds one of two exits,” he wrote. Other disturbing comments in the thread reveal the extent of his illness.

The Return of Healey.

After an endless string of scandals and crises, what finally drove the Labour party to dump failing Keir Starmer as leader and premier was the resignation of then-Defense Minister John Healey over Starmer’s and Chancellor Rachel Reeves’ inability or unwillingness to fully fund the Defense Investment Plan, forcing him to compromise national security and military readiness.

But incoming Prime Minister Andy Burnham appears to have preempted this whole dispute by appointing Healey as the new Chancellor, seemingly guaranteeing funding for the military, and sending defense stocks soaring.

I’ve done my time at UKIP conferences and rallies, and caught a couple of proper US CPACs — DC back in the day and Dallas just a few months ago. Those events are engaging, polished, informative, and leave you with a sense that something’s stirring. So when the first CPAC Great Britain popped up in London mid-July, I thought it could be a decent shot at bringing some of that fire over here.

It didn’t quite work out that way. Thin crowds, a venue stuck out in East London, and an overall feeling that it never really got off the ground. A lot of that comes down to how Liz Truss handled things as the local lead.

The location was odd from the start. Shoving it way out at the InterContinental by the O2 Arena meant it was nowhere near Parliament or the usual political scrum. The American versions feel connected. This one just felt isolated. The little exhibition hall was underwhelming and largely empty (despite being tiny). Media stuff was basically nonexistent. For an event trying to kick off something big, those basics matter.

Turnout was the biggest tell. They had around 500 seats ready, but most sessions were maybe a third full. Toward the end it dipped even lower — around 100 for the last day. Pauline Hanson, the Australian politician who could well be a future PM down under, addressed roughly that same modest crowd. Embarrassing, really.

One screening of Tim Ballard’s new film, the follow-up to Sound of Freedom on trafficking, pulled in only 15 people. Fifteen. That’s not a slow burn. That’s a red flag. I’ve sat in many UKIP branch meetings that had more life on quiet days. This felt flat.

The American speakers got the short end. Matt Schlapp trusted the UK side to make it happen. Then Posobiec, Del Bigtree, and others made the long haul only to face a lot of empty chairs. That’s not fair. These guys didn’t come for a holiday — they put in real effort and expense. Seeing strong talks land in half-empty rooms left everyone looking a bit flat-footed.

There were some decent moments. Farage brought energy as the headliner, and Braverman and Rees-Mogg added weight. But too many other folks on stage didn’t have that national pull. Dan Wootton called it straight when he wondered aloud why Tommy Robinson and Rupert Lowe weren’t part of it. Those holes showed.

Even the heavier topics got shortchanged. There was a panel trying to link anti-Semitism with Islamism, but it stayed surface level — no real definition, just crammed into 30 minutes. Islamisation and the deep history of Jew-hatred deserve more than that.

For 1,400 years, Islamic ideology has been the most perpetual threat to Jewish safety. Brushing past it like that in today’s Britain seemed odd, to put it mildly. A missed opportunity to confront the biggest threat to Britain’s very existence.

And then there’s Truss’s own background. After 14 years in Parliament, her record often reads more Lib Dem than old-school Conservative. She went along with lockdowns and vaccine passports, held pro-abortion and strong LGBT lines, stayed quiet on grooming gang victims, didn’t push hard on Islamisation, saw taxes go up, and the military took knocks. A clear Christian anchor wasn’t really visible either. Putting her in charge of a CPAC event came across as a mismatch.

Matt Schlapp brought the brand. Truss was supposed to deliver. The low numbers and clunky feel suggest it didn’t come together. It echoes her short prime ministership — ambitious but uneven. This time it risked letting down the Americans who showed up in good faith.

I’ve seen what clicks before. UKIP could generate real grassroots heat. The US events know how to scale it. A British one needs both, plus straight talk on the big stuff. This outing mostly highlighted the gaps.

Britain’s conservative scene needs proper platforms. Good ideas alone don’t cut it. You need packed rooms, valued speakers, and the willingness to name problems without flinching. The visitors and locals who bothered to come deserved better.

Next round, let’s hope they fill the seats, sharpen the focus, and treat the whole thing like it actually matters. Because it does.

It turns out that Hasan Piker doesn’t just like to dress like Mao Zedong, he actually admires him.

In a clip of his streaming podcast that has been circulating on social media, Piker calls Mao ‘one of the great leaders of this world.’

Mao Zedong was a dictator who murdered millions of his own people, through starvation and other means. He killed more people than Hitler and is an absolutely despicable character.

These are the people who claim Trump is a fascist.

Hasan Piker vows never to criticize Mao Zedong in resurfaced video, hails him as ‘great leader’

A resurfaced video showing far-left Twitch streamer Hasan Piker praising Mao Zedong circulated online Sunday night after he addressed the College Democrats of America’s national convention Saturday in Washington, prompting criticism from Democratic activists, political commentators and other public figures.

In the resurfaced livestream, Piker discussed being stopped by a police officer while visiting Tiananmen Square during a November 2025 trip to China.

“I got stopped by a cop who thought I was making fun of Mao Zedong, which I never would and never will,” Piker said. “Mao Zedong is one of the great leaders of this world, OK? A man who changed the entire universe, the entire planet.”

Piker later responded after viewers challenged his praise for the former Chinese Communist Party chairman, according to a transcript published by Vox.

“There was a lot of f—–g excesses, let’s be real,” Piker said. “But the People’s Republic of China would not exist without Mao Zedong.”

Piker would never accept her challenge to a debate. He has no actual understanding of the history behind the subject. He just thinks it’s cool to support communism – when he is not driving his expensive sportscar, that is.
