The US military on Saturday evening launched retaliatory strikes against Iran after US service members were killed in action in Jordan.

Two US service members were killed in action at Jordanian bases this week.

One service member is still missing.

“On July 17, two U.S. service members in Jordan were killed in action as U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and partner forces defended against Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks. Additionally, one service member is currently missing in action,” CENTCOM said.

“Four American service members were medically evacuated to Jordanian hospitals. They have since been discharged. Other personnel who were evaluated for minor injuries have returned to duty,” CENTCOM said.

“Out of respect for the families, CENTCOM will withhold additional information, including the identities of the fallen warriors, until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified,” they said.

Later Saturday, the US military unleashed new strikes against Iran.

Full statement from CENTCOM:

Today at 6 p.m. ET, U.S. forces began launching new airstrikes against Iran at the Commander in Chief’s direction.

The strikes are designed to further degrade Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and swiftly punish Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces who launched attacks against American service members in Jordan last night.

FCC Set to Rule Against ‘The View’: Report

FCC Set to Rule Against ‘The View’: Report

FCC Set to Rule Against ‘The View’: Report
July 18, 2026

Barack Obama appears on The View, engaging with the hosts in a lively discussion while seated on a yellow couch.

A new report said that the Federal Communications Commission is likely to decide that the ABC show “The View” should not be classified as a “bona fide” news show.

The action is expected by the end of August, according to Bloomberg.

The FCC is also expected to move its investigation of several Disney-owned ABC stations to the next level.

Citing sources it did not name, Bloomberg said the FCC will move the review to an agency hearing, which is one step closer to revoking the licenses.

The ABC stations include outlets in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Houston, San Francisco, Raleigh-Durham, and Fresno, California.

Under FCC rules, a show that is not considered a news show needs to offer rival candidates comparable time when it interviews a candidate running for office, according to the New York Post.

Disney is likely to challenge any rulings with which it disagrees.

The issue concerning “The View” began when it interviewed Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico in February without offering time to other candidates.

The investigation into ABC’s license renewals comes amid claims from the Media Research Center, America First Legal, the Center for American Rights, and the Article III Project that ABC’s Disney-owned stations are guilty of political bias.

Semafor reported that since “The View” has come under an FCC microscope, it has appeared to scale back its interviews with candidates for office.

In January, the FCC sent out a reminder that it will enforce the “statutory equal opportunities requirement,” referencing the Communications Act of 1934, according to Fox News.

At the time, the FCC said it “has not been presented with any evidence that the interview portion of any late-night or daytime television talk show program on the air presently would qualify for the ‘bona fide’ news exemption.”

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr said he is playing by the rules.

“On my watch, we’re going to enforce this regulation,” Carr said.

“For years, legacy TV networks assumed that their late-night & daytime talk shows qualify as ‘bona fide news’ programs — even when motivated by purely partisan political purposes,” Carr has said.

Drill, Andy, drill.

From scandal to crisis and back, failing Keir Starmer lost the confidence of the voters, the support of the press, and even of his own Labour MPs.

He finally resigned to his party leadership, and lost his brief and troubled premiership.

Andy Burham resigned as Manchester mayor, ran in a by-election to become the MP for Makerfield, was ‘crowned’ the new Labour leader – and on Monday, he becomes the 59th Prime Minister of Britain.

He is widely expected to become as unpopular as Starmer in record time, since the Globalist, suicidal core policies will mostly remain the same.

But, as in the run-up to his inauguration, Burnham has been caught in the act of doing the most unexpected thing: taking a correct decision that is already very unpopular with the left wing of his Labour party.

Today, it arises that Burnham will announce plans to drill for gas and oil in the North Sea in a break with Labour’s manifesto promise.

The incoming prime minister is understood to be preparing the announcement for when he enters No 10 on Monday.

The Telegraph reported:

“However, the decision is likely to prove controversial with colleagues such as Ed Miliband, the Energy Secretary, who remain committed to Labour’s 2024 pledge not to issue new drilling licences.

The announcement is likely to focus on Jackdaw, a Shell-owned gas field 150 miles east of Aberdeen, and Rosebank, an oil and gas field north-west of Shetland owned by Adura, a joint venture between Norwegian company Equinor and Shell.

Under the Conservatives, regulators approved drilling at Rosebank and Jackdaw in 2022 and 2023, but those contracts were overturned in 2025 following a legal challenge brought by Greenpeace.

The new policy, first reported by the BBC, will form part of a series of measures from Mr. Burnham, including plans to take water and energy companies under public control and introduce a new council house-building program.”

BBC reported:

“While details of the oil and gas plans are not clear, the incoming prime minister is expected to uphold the manifesto commitment. One source said Burnham might pitch this as a significant change of direction but said any overt support for completely new licenses is not on the cards.

Rosebank and Jackdaw both already have licenses to exclusively explore for oil and gas. The decision currently under consideration is whether to give approval to produce oil and gas there. If given the go ahead, that would not break the manifesto commitment on licenses.

The ongoing legal processes around Rosebank and Jackdaw mean Burnham will also not be able to explicitly announce their approval, but he will likely nod to it in his first speech as prime minister on Monday. This decision will instead effectively fall to the new, unannounced energy secretary.

But the Labour leader could pledge to speed up existing plans to drill more in the North Sea. Many oil and gas licenses already approved in recent years remain largely undeveloped due to a variety of reasons.”

TMZ reported:

Stephen Miller Brings Down the House with BRILLIANT Speech on Left-Wing Terrorism (VIDEO)
July 18, 2026

Secretary of State Marco Rubio and White House advisor Stephen Miller delivered remarks at the start of a ministerial meeting at the State Department this week.

Stephen Miller delivered a brilliant speech about left-wing terrorism and the threat of far-left terror to the US.

Stephen Miller said the left is full of hate and jealousy. He said that they covet and turn those emotions into a desire to subjugate and to inflict pain.

“Let’s not pretend for a moment that these radical leftists, these terrorists, are operating from a place of sincere political conviction.”

“The leftist is fundamentally motivated by envy, by hatred, by jealousy. The leftist looks at what is beautiful and what is good and what is natural and is filled with envy and hatred.”

“The leftist looks at a perfect family with the perfect life and a perfect job and perfect kids, that goes to church every Sunday, and is filled with a feeling of inadequacy and jealousy — and they covet and they turn those emotions ultimately into a desire to subjugate, to oppress, and to inflict pain and suffering.”

It’s not a coincidence that when you look at these violent Antifa demonstrations and you see any photograph of those who are assembled — to be blunt, not one of the people that is demonstrating looks like a normal person. Not one looks normal. They’re all deformed in some way in their appearance, in their dress, in their mannerisms.”

“Their outer appearance becomes a manifestation of their inner hatred.”

“The greatest risk that we have is that our institutions have grown too soft and too cowardly to be able to defend themselves against a mortal threat.”

“If your civilization is your home, you must defend it with the same passion and force as if an enemy intruder is inside your own house where your family lives.”
