A grieving mother in Spain is now using her late daughter’s secret journal to launch a desperate search for the men, widely reported to have been North African migrants, who gang-raped her years ago.

Yolanda Ramos received the diary from her 25-year-old daughter, Noelia Castillo Ramos, on the day she died by euthanasia in a Barcelona hospital in March.

The journal contains details about the horrific gang rape that Noelia was subjected to when she was 21 in the town of Salou in Tarragona province, along with accounts of other sexual assaults she suffered.

Before her death, Noelia had publicly spoken about surviving multiple sexual assaults in television interviews, including a gang rape at a nightclub and other attacks.

She never named the perpetrators, and Spanish authorities have never identified any suspects.

After reading the diary, her mother said she finally understood many things about what her daughter had endured and decided to take action by filing formal complaints to pursue justice.

The New York Post reports that the diary “recounted meeting a waiter in the town of Salou in Tarragona, being drugged, plied with alcohol, and raped by three men.

“Noelia spoke about the rapes on television, and on the very day she died, she gave me her diary. When I read it, I understood many things,” Yolanda Ramos said in a video about her criminal complaints.

Spain’s euthanasia law permits assisted suicide for adults experiencing serious, chronic, and disabling conditions that cause unbearable suffering.

Noelia had become paraplegic in 2022 after jumping from a fifth-floor building in a suicide attempt triggered by the trauma of the gang rape.

Her father fought for over a year and a half in Spanish courts and even appealed to the European Court of Human Rights to stop the euthanasia, arguing her capacity was compromised by borderline personality disorder and the effects of the assaults.

Courts ultimately ruled that Noelia had the mental capacity to make the decision.

In an interview three days before her suicide, Noelia said, “I simply want to go in peace and stop suffering.”

“The happiness of a father, a mother, or a sister cannot take precedence over the happiness of a daughter.”

Unacceptable and Dangerous: Georgetown’s China Initiative Gives CCP-Linked Groups Access to Future US Policymakers
July 18, 2026

Image depicting the flags of the United States and China blending together, symbolizing international relations and diplomacy between the two countries.

In the latest anti-American move made by American academic institutions, Campus Reform is reporting “Georgetown University has spent the last decade building one of the nation’s most prominent China-focused academic pipelines while receiving tens of millions of dollars in Chinese Communist Party (CCP)-linked funding and nearly $1.5 billion in foreign gifts and contracts since 1992.”

This is outrageous and dangerous in light of President Trump’s address Thursday night to the nation and the revelations of what the CCP engaged in.

President Trump has argued that China interfered in our elections.

The CCP or Chinese Communist Party has sought to undermine America from within at every turn.

Georgetown has raked in billions from foreign governments. Georgetown increased tuition prices for hard-working American families. This fall, undergraduate tuition will cost American students $74,520 before room, board, and fees are factored in, more than doubling since 2006.”

This is outrageous and unacceptable.

“The university has also helped create opportunities for Chinese state-linked institutions and CCP-tied organizations to gain access to the next generation of U.S. policymakers in Washington, D.C.”

If this seems like a recipe for disaster its because it is.

“The university’s Initiative for U.S.-China Dialogue on Global Issues was launched in 2016 with a $10 million “gift” from the Hong Kong-based Spring Breeze Foundation. A 2020 Department of Education Section 117 report stated that Spring Breeze was financed by CP Group and noted the company’s extensive commercial relationships with the CCP. ”

According to this student writing at Campus Reform, this is not a typical exchange program but rather a subversive CCP initiative.

“By 2019, the initiative had launched five research groups, supported 43 student fellows, organized 16 U.S.-China workshops, produced 23 podcasts, funded graduate study tours in China, and hosted 35 public events. ”

“Georgetown has charged families premium prices for access to elite civic and policy leadership opportunities while simultaneously building channels for CCP-linked institutions to reach the students most likely to enter American government, diplomacy, law, and national security work.”

This is ominous; there should be exactly 0 cooperative programs that give the CCP any access or benefit from our universities, as they clearly cannot be trusted.

As the woman exited her car, danger blasted from above.

Summer storms in Florida are all the rage, and bolts from the sky are hardly rare.

On average, around 270 people are struck by lightning in the US every year.

Unsurprisingly, subtropical Florida leads the country in both strikes and casualties.

The Sunshine State averages about seven fatal lightning strikes per year, with an additional 20 to 30 injuries.

Insane doorbell footage that’s gone viral shows how a Florida woman narrowly escaped being part of these statistics.

She is seen running for cover as a massive lightning bolt hits a yard right behind her, instantly sparking a fire.

The New York Post reported:

“Jessika Gonzalez was seen in her Ring doorbell footage unloading her car when several bright flashes lit up the sky on June 27.

As she slams her door and runs into her house, a fire quickly spreads in the grass behind her.”

Gonzalez ran for cover as fast as she could.

“’I felt like a firecracker was lit next to me and the sparks were hitting me’, Gonzalez told Storyful.

‘I ran into the garage, shocked, and all the kids were screaming’.”

She was not injured, escaping the great lightning lottery of Florida.

The State Department and a handful of other government agencies are going to start cracking down on colleges and universities that take money from foreign entities that are on government watch lists.

This is something we should have been doing for years, but better late than never.

Higher education is always looking for new forms of revenue and will take cash from pretty much anywhere. It’s a significant threat to national security.

CBS News reports:

Universities receive millions in funding from foreign entities on U.S. government watch lists, records show

Major U.S. universities have received millions of dollars in funding from foreign entities that are on U.S. government watch lists, according to a CBS News review of university funding records submitted to the Department of Education.

State Department and Education Department officials say the disclosure forms, which have not been previously reported, show a combined $27.6 million received in roughly the second half of last year by dozens of top American research institutions that originated from entities appearing on at least one federal government watch list. There are 10 cautionary and restricted watch lists overseen by the departments of Treasury, Commerce, Homeland Security, Defense and State, which flag companies and organizations that should be subject to extra scrutiny due to their ties to foreign government interests.

The two agencies are working together to crack down on academic partnerships with foreign companies and organizations that the Trump administration says could threaten national security.

In one example from the disclosure forms, a company in China that develops state-of-the-art aeronautics for the People’s Liberation Army gave more than $7 million total to three American universities considered top-tier research institutions. In another instance, the largest amount in the documents, disclosed in 2020, was $22.6 million for a 50-year contract from the Beijing Institute of Technology to Bryant University in Rhode Island.

On Wednesday, Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy Sarah B. Rogers sent a letter to the governing boards of major research universities alerting them that future grant-making agencies will be checking if institutions take money from foreign entities on U.S. watch lists — and could pull federal funding for those that do.

At the end of Trump’s first term, Senate Republicans were aggressively pursuing action against China and the huge influence they wield on American college campuses.

It’s good to see the second Trump administration revisiting the topic with an even broader view.

Gavin Newsom’s Wife Turns Into a Stuttering Mess When Asked if the Investigation of Her Husband Actually Started Under Biden (VIDEO)
July 17, 2026

Screencap of Twitter/X video.

Gavin Newsom’s wife Jennifer Siebel Newsom recently appeared on MNOW and things got a little tricky for her when the host asked her if the federal investigation of her husband actually began under President Joe Biden, which it did.

Suddenly, there was a lot of uh… uhh… uhh… happening on the screen.

She quickly tried to pivot to Trump, but it just didn’t work. It came off as rather awkward.

The New York Post reported:

Jennifer Siebel Newsom calls DOJ probe ‘fishing expedition’ in awkward interview

Jennifer Siebel Newsom, wife of California Gov. Gavin Newsom, called the investigation targeting the couple a “fishing expedition” in an awkward interview Friday — her first extended comments on the subject since the Democratic governor dropped news in June of a bombshell federal probe.

At one point, the feminist filmmaker seemed flustered when asked directly by MS Now anchor Stephanie Ruhle if the investigation actually started under former Democratic President Joe Biden, as some sources have alleged.

Both the governor, who is considering a run for president in 2028, and wife have stuck to their claims the probe is politically motivated by Republican President Donald Trump.

“I don’t know the details,” Siebel Newsom said after a pause.

She then tried to explain the timeline.

“I do know that Trump was coming after my husband when…back when Biden was president and Biden was running for the presidency.”

Watch the clip below:

The fact that Ms. Siebel Newsom was asked about this on MSNOW is very telling. Maybe the far left is not as excited about the idea of a Newsom presidential run as Newsom is.

In fact, one of the other questions she got was whether or not her husband is planning to run. She couldn’t give a straight answer on that either. Watch:

Newsom may not be as inevitable as he seems to think he is.
