Radical Lasair Dhearg Activists Vandalize Anti-Immigration Mural After TGP Documentary in Obvious Hate Crime Assault

Guest post by Enrique Tarrio-

An anti-immigration mural in Belfast was vandalized by far left radicals.

On July 15th, between 8:30 and 9:00 PM, Irish activists and citizens started calling me.

Three “foreign-looking individuals” were spotted paying very close attention to the remembrance mural on the Doagh Road in Newtownabbey. Not just walking past and glancing. They were going back and forth. Unusual. Suspicious. The kind of behavior that stands out.

Then at around 2:30 in the morning they came back and paint-bombed the mural with red balloons.

They made off in the direction of the Standard. A silver car that looked like a Fiat 500XL was caught on CCTV.

This is the exact mural that was featured in the Gateway Pundit short documentary Belfast: A New Menace Rising that Barry Ramey and I shot on the ground just weeks ago. The same mural that captured the cultural collision we witnessed with our own eyes.

Local Protestants have already identified the perpetrators. The community is collecting every scrap of CCTV and asking for more footage.

They call it a hate crime against their community. And they’re right.

Lasair Dhearg claimed it themselves on Facebook within hours:

“A racist mural erected by Unionists in Newtownabbey has been paid a visit by Lasair Dhearg activists. The anti-immigration mural, which made headlines in recent months, was paintbombed in the early hours of this morning. Racism, bigotry and sectarianism can not be tolerated and must be destroyed.”

They even posted video of the attack. Same group that poured red paint over the Queen Victoria statue at the Royal Victoria Hospital earlier this year. Same far-left republican socialists who specialize in running around in the dark with their faces covered, throwing paint, then posting about how brave they are on social media.

The response from the local community came fast and raw:

“so we are calling for the scumbags off Lasair dhearg activities that think there big lads to come and meet us face to face bring as many people as you like or we will come to use and sort this out like men instead of running about in darkness with your faces covered come on ya big girls.

please make sure you sleep with your eyes open you never know who will be standing at the bottom of your bed one night 😉😜

That’s not a coded threat. That’s a straight invitation to settle it like men.

What Barry Ramey and I Saw on the Ground

When Barry and I landed in Belfast, we didn’t go for the tourist version. We went straight into the communities that are living this every single day.

We walked the streets where the attempted beheading of Stephen Ogilvie happened. We stood at the exact spot on Kinnaird Avenue where a Sudanese asylum seeker tried to cut a man’s head off in front of witnesses. We saw the blood still staining the ground in people’s memories. We talked to the men who intervened with a hurling stick and saved his life. We heard the raw anger, the fear, and the absolute refusal to accept this as the new normal.

We sat with both Loyalists and Nationalists — old enemies who spent decades trying to kill each other during the Troubles. And what we found shocked even us. They were speaking the same language. Not about green and orange. About survival. About their kids. About their streets. About a mass migration experiment that has brought medieval violence to their doorsteps.

One older man told me, “We fought each other for thirty years. Now we’re watching outsiders try to take the whole fucking place.” Another younger guy said, “I don’t care if you’re a Prod or a Taig anymore. If you’re here to destroy what we have, you’re the enemy.”

That unity is real. It’s raw. And it’s growing.

The mural that just got paintbombed was part of that pushback. It was put up in late May after the Ogilvie attack. It showed war graves, a kneeling soldier, and the words “Sorry it was all for nothing.” It was a warning. A reminder. And the PSNI — the Police Service of Northern Ireland — immediately treated its very existence as a “hate incident.”

That’s the two-tier system on full display. A community puts up a mural mourning its dead and warning about the invasion, and the police call it hate. A far-left republican group sneaks out in the middle of the night, throws red paint all over it, and films themselves like heroes.

Barry and I saw this pattern over and over. The people who actually live there are told to shut up, stay quiet, and accept whatever gets dumped on them. When they speak, they’re racists. When they defend their streets, they’re extremists. When they put up a mural, it’s a hate crime.

But when outsiders commit savagery or when left-wing activists vandalize community memorials, the response is softer.

This Isn’t Over!

Lasair Dhearg thought they scored a win last night. They thought throwing paint in the dark made them tough.

The people of Newtownabbey just reminded them what real toughness looks like.

This mural was never just paint on a wall. It was a line in the sand. And the people who live behind that line are done being told to stay quiet while their streets, their culture, and their future get taken from them.

Barry and I left Belfast with one clear message from the people we met: they will not go quietly. They will not kneel. And they will not forget.

Things are heating up.

Watch the full short documentary Belfast: A New Menace Rising right now, only on The Gateway Pundit. See what we saw. Hear the people for yourself. This is the story the mainstream media won’t touch — and it’s only getting hotter.

Dwayne Milton

A repeat felony offender with an extensive criminal history was arrested after allegedly trespassing in the backyard of Illinois Governor JB Pritzker’s Chicago residence on the night of July 4.

This is what happens when radical Democrat policies put dangerous repeat offenders back on the streets.

Dwayne Milton, a career criminal with more than 10 felony convictions and over 60 total cases in Cook County, was detained by Illinois State Police after he allegedly tried to climb into Governor JB Pritzker’s backyard on July 4.

Milton, 46, was already on pretrial release with an ankle monitor for a felony retail theft charge when he vanished from electronic monitoring for 11 days.

Court records show he started violating his curfew and monitoring conditions almost immediately after the monitor was strapped on in mid-June. A warrant was issued, but he remained free, until he showed up at the governor’s mansion.

According to The Center Square, Illinois State Police troopers assigned to the governor’s security detail observed Milton allegedly climbing over a fence and entering the backyard of Pritzker’s Gold Coast residence at approximately 10 p.m.

Troopers detained him before Chicago police arrived and took him into custody. Milton was charged with criminal trespass.

In classic soft-on-crime fashion, Milton was ordered released pending trial on the new trespassing charge (with instructions not to return to the governor’s property).

However, he was later taken back into custody after pleading guilty to the separate felony retail theft case he was already on monitoring for. He received a one-year prison sentence with credit for time served.

Milton’s rap sheet is a textbook example of the revolving door created by Illinois’ Democrat-backed “criminal justice reform.”

His prior felony convictions include burglary (2024), multiple retail thefts, and two robberies dating back to 2005. He has cycled through the Cook County court system more than 60 times.

For years, Pritzker and his far-left allies insisted that abolishing cash bail would make communities “safer” and “more equitable.” Instead, it has turned Illinois into a revolving door for career felons.

In a speech before the European Parliament, Cardinal Robert Sarah warned that the rise of radical Islam and the push of gender ideology are “apocalyptic beasts” and an attack on the sanctity of life and God.

The event, “Europe and Africa. In conversation with Cardinal Robert Sarah,” was presented as “an opportunity for reflection and dialogue on the relationship between Europe and Africa, with particular attention to Christianity, culture, human dignity, and the future of our societies.”

During his speech, Cardinal Sarah noted, “The crisis of the Church in the West and the crisis of the West itself are, at heart, one and the same crisis.”

“It is because the Church in many European nations has lost its identity, its prophetic voice, that the West itself has lost the meaning of its own civilization.”

Per LifeSite News:

While decrying the fact that the U.N., as well as European and other Western powers, have sought to impose gender ideology on African nations in exchange for financial aid, Sarah echoed remarks that he made during the 2015 Synod on the Family that gender ideology, as well as Islamic fundamentalism, are “apocalyptic beasts.”

“In 2015, during the Synod on the Family, I said, and I do not take back a single word today, that ‘gender ideology and Islamic fundamentalism each represent, in their own way, two apocalyptic beasts that threaten to destroy not only the family, but humanity itself, the image of God,’” he said.

“Some considered this image excessive. I continue to believe that it contains some truth. Could it be that these forces, though very different in origin and form, share the pretense of rewriting humanity to their own liking?” he added. “One in the name of so-called progress, the other in the name of a so-called return to an original purity, denying in either case that religious freedom and that human dignity.”

He continued, noting, ““When Europe constructs ‘rights’ detached from the truth about the human person – abortion, which some would like to elevate to a ‘fundamental right,’ ‘sexual identity’ reduced to pure subjective self-construction – reason itself is distorted from being an instrument for knowing the truth it becomes an instrument of power capable of imposing itself through the force of law and money on those who do not share those promises.”

Watch (begins at 23:19):

Cardinal Sarah is from West Africa’s Guinea and was considered a potential successor to Pope Francis.

He has been an outspoken advocate for the West to hold on to its identity and principles and has described mass migration as ‘self-destruction’ for Europe, a ‘new form of slavery,’ arguing it is better to help people flourish in their homelands rather than encouraging them to abandon their native countries.

Kiev was behind the terror bomb in Monaco, says Ermolaev.

About two weeks after his family was targeted by a backpack bomb left on the doorsteps of his Monaco mansion, Ukrainian oligarch Vadim Ermolaiev (another transliteration would be Vadym Yermolayev) sent out a statement, and added pressure on Kiev regime, as he points to the Ukrainian intelligence service as being behind the attack.

This was the first terrorist attack in the history of Monaco, and the businessman sanctioned by Kiev said there is ‘no doubt’ that serving officers of the main intelligence directorate of the military of defense of Ukraine, GUR, are involved in the attempt on his life.

The Telegraph reported:

“The property magnate was approaching his building with his long-term partner and their 13-year-old son when explosives hidden in a backpack at the threshold of the lobby were detonated on the evening of June 29.”

Ermolaev’s partner lost both feet, while his son sustained ‘burns, fractures and severe trauma’.

“’I remain in intensive care and am only now beginning the long process of recovery’, he added, in his first public comments since the blast.”

French police identified Ukrainian Anastasiia Berezovska as the attacker, and she was found shot dead in near Kiev after escaping to the country on July 1.

Vladyslav Reut, a GUR officer, and Vitaliy Zhykovych, a former member of the SBU, have been arrested.

They made bank transfers and cryptocurrency payments to Berezovska that may be linked to the attempt on Ermolaiev’s life.

The prosecutors in Ukraine have tried to say that the murder was the work of ‘rogue operators’ without authorization from their agencies.

But Ermolaev, in a statement distributed by his lawyers, says is sure that the order for the attack on his family came from above.

“’According to the evidence currently available, the conspiracy extended beyond the direct perpetrators and organizers to include serving HUR officers connected to them, including individuals close to the agency’s current and former leadership. This was not a warning. It was an attempt to kill not only me, but my family as well’.

The incident was ‘a matter of international security and trust in public institutions. If serving officers of an intelligence agency used their positions, resources or networks to orchestrate the attempted murder of a family on European soil, then this is no longer merely a crime against my family’, he argued.”

Appeals Court Hands Pete Hegseth Major Victory — Pentagon Can Restrict New York Times Access During Legal Fight, Citing National Security Concerns

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth scored a significant legal victory Thursday after a federal appeals court overturned a lower court ruling and allowed the Pentagon to continue enforcing restrictions on press access inside the building while litigation proceeds.

The decision from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit means the Department of Defense may continue requiring credentialed journalists, including reporters from The New York Times, to be escorted inside the Pentagon rather than freely roam the halls without supervision.

The court found that the Trump administration is likely to prevail on appeal regarding the legality of the policy.

The ruling marks another win for the Trump administration’s effort to crack down on unauthorized leaks of sensitive military information after months of escalating tensions between Pentagon leadership and legacy media outlets.

Hegseth has repeatedly argued that unrestricted access inside one of the nation’s most sensitive military facilities presents an unnecessary security risk, particularly as classified information has repeatedly appeared in media reports citing anonymous government sources.

It can be recalled that in October, Pentagon reporters turned in their badges after they refused to sign Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s new security rule.

“Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth demanded that reporters agree by 5 p.m. Tuesday to a new policy, under which they would need to pledge to not obtain or use any unauthorized material, even if the information is unclassified — or hand over their press badges in the next 24 hours,” The Hill previously reported.

By that afternoon, Pentagon reporters turned in their badges.

The Pentagon Press Association previously released a statement blasting Hegseth.

“Today, the Defense Department confiscated the badges of the Pentagon reporters from virtually every major media organization in America. It did this because reporters would not sign onto a new media policy over its implicit threat of criminalizing national security reporting and exposing those who sign it to potential prosecution,” the PPA said.

“The Pentagon Press Association’s members are still committed to reporting on the US military. But make no mistake, today, Oct. 15, 2025 is a dark day for press freedom that raises concerns about a weakening US commitment to transparency in governance, to public accountability at the Pentagon and to free speech for all,” the statement said.

The Pentagon press pool now includes conservative outlets, including The Gateway Pundit.

The New York Times filed a lawsuit to stop the Pentagon from enforcing its new policy.

US District Judge Paul Friedman, a Clinton appointee, blocked the Pentagon from enforcing its new policy and said it violated the First Amendment.

“The Court recognizes that national security must be protected, the security of our troops must be protected, and war plans must be protected. But especially in light of the country’s recent incursion into Venezuela and its ongoing war with Iran, it is more important than ever that the public have access to information from a variety of perspectives about what its government is doing—so that the public can support government policies, if it wants to support them; protest, if it wants to protest; and decide based on full, complete, and open information who they are going to vote for in the next election,” the judge wrote in a 40-page opinion.

Thursday’s appellate ruling reverses that victory.

According to Reuters, the three-judge appeals panel concluded that the Pentagon’s escort requirement does not amount to unconstitutional retaliation against journalists and may remain in effect while the broader appeal moves forward. The Pentagon has maintained that journalists who seek unauthorized disclosures of sensitive information can pose legitimate security concerns inside the building.
