An American woman who has been held in Iran for more than 18 months has been freed, according to President Donald Trump.

Jared Genser, the attorney for Dena Karari, said it was a “minor miracle” that she was freed during a war, according to CNN.

He noted that her health issues, which included a massive heart attack suffered last week, may have played a role in the 53-year-old’s release.

“Iran has allowed an American Citizen, who was wrongfully detained in December of 2024 under the ‘presidency’ of Sleepy Joe Biden, to leave the Country,” Trump posted on Truth Social.

“She is now safely outside of Iran, and in good condition,” Trump wrote.

“The United States of America appreciates this gesture of Goodwill by Iran!” he posted.

Genser credited Trump for his client’s release.

“I am delighted and excited to report that my client U.S. citizen #DenaKarari, who had been trapped in #Iran since December 2024 on bogus charges is now free,” he posted on X.

“This would not have happened but for the extraordinary and relentless efforts of President @realDonaldTrump. Dena is now safe and traveling back to the United States,” he posted.

Genser said that when Karari tried to leave Iran after visiting her family, she was not permitted.

A month later, she was taken into custody and interrogated in what would become the first of multiple interrogations, he said.

Karari operated “a non-profit called the Children of Mehr Foundation, which helped impoverished children in Iran with private donor support,” Genser said.

Genser said in April, passports the Iranian government had seized were returned, but Karari was still not allowed to leave the country.

She tried to leave but was turned back.

When talks with Iran began, Genser said the Trump administration was contacted to raise the issue of her freedom with Iran.

“I expect that Dena will have more to say in the coming days, but for now she needs to rest and recuperate,” Genser said in a statement.

“We urge Iran to drop all the remaining charges against those who worked locally in support of the Children of Mehr Foundation, who are innocent and committed no crimes. And I personally call on Iran to release both all wrongly imprisoned Americans and those subjected to coercive exit bans and all Iranian political prisoners,” he said.

Elon Musk and his xAI are suing a South Carolina man who has been arrested on charges of sexually exploiting minors.

The company is alleging that the man misused the company’s AI system Grok to create child sexual abuse material.

“xAI alleged in the lawsuit, filed in federal court in Texas on Tuesday, that Terry Harwood violated the company’s terms of service. The case is one of the first brought by an AI company against one of its users for allegedly using an AI system to generate explicit material.

Elon Musk’s xAI alleged that Terry Harwood uploaded non-sexual images of adults and minors to Grok and tried to use the system to generate sexually explicit deepfakes based on them.”

Ken Martin, the chairman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), made Democrat officials sign non-disclosure agreements before they could view the party’s financial records at a recent meeting, according to a new report from Axios.

It has been widely reported for months that the DNC is struggling to raise money. Donors are not exactly lining up to hand over their cash to the party that blew through two billion dollars in a matter of weeks in 2024, only to come up empty handed in the end. Also, now that USAID is effectively over, there are no more dollars flowing from that source.

Still, why would Martin make party leaders sign NDAs to simply view the family check book? This raises all kinds of red flags.

The Democratic National Committee asked its leadership team to sign non-disclosure agreements before a recent meeting about the party’s finances, two people familiar with the conversations told Axios.

Why it matters: The move — a break from past practice for such officers — underscored DNC chair Ken Martin’s sensitivity about the party’s money woes and the persistent criticism about his leadership.

Driving the news: The DNC made the request ahead of a private meeting of senior officers late last month, the sources said.

• Martin has faced a crisis of confidence among some Democratic donors, operatives and even DNC members over his management of the party, especially given the Republican National Committee’s enormous fundraising advantage with the Nov. 3 midterms in sight.
• The DNC has nearly $15 million on hand but is $18 million in debt, according to its latest campaign finance filings through the end of May.
• The RNC has $125 million on hand and no debt.

Some individual Democrat candidates have done well fundraising for their own campaigns, but the DNC has a serious problem.

Perhaps they should have been more transparent and forthcoming with that 2024 election autopsy report.

President Trump revealed that at least 278,000 foreigners are illegally registered to vote in American elections during his major primetime address on foreign election interference on Thursday. 

In addition to the massive Chinese voter data breach, affecting 220 million US voters, China’s massive influence campaign, manipulation of voting machines, and a complicit deep state intelligence community, Trump announced the results of a Department of Homeland Security investigation into states’ voter rolls.

“According to the DHS review, state voter rolls, and public records, they identified approximately 278,000 non-citizens who are registered to vote in federal elections,” Trump said.

“Since Democrat states refuse to share their voter files, the real number is actually much higher than that. Yet, even this limited analysis found more than a quarter of a million foreigners illegally registered to vote. Put together, these disclosures reveal an election system so broken and so vulnerable that no one can possibly defend it.”

The President continued, “Hundreds of thousands of non-citizens and dead people are listed and active on the voter rolls, and yet we still have elections with no voter ID, no proof of citizenship, and tens of millions of ballots floating aimlessly through the mail.”

Trump: Finally, to reveal just how vulnerable our elections continue to be, we are releasing the results of a stunning investigation by the Department of Homeland Security. According to the DHS review, state voter rolls, and public records, they identified approximately 278,000 non-citizens who are registered to vote in federal elections.

Since Democrat states refuse to share their voter files, the real number is actually much higher than that. Yet, even this limited analysis found more than a quarter of a million foreigners illegally registered to vote. It is not defensible. Hundreds of millions of U.S. voter files are in the hands of foreign governments. Our machines and ballot counting systems are exposed to hacking and manipulation and corruption. China and other countries have been trying to meddle in our elections. Evidence of fraud has been buried.

Hundreds of thousands of non-citizens and dead people are listed and active on the voter rolls, and yet we still have elections with no voter ID, no proof of citizenship, and tens of millions of ballots floating aimlessly through the mail.

According to one of the documents released by DHS, the 278,000 illegal voters were found across just four states that provided the public data files to federal officials.

Additionally, “In the short time that the enhanced SAVE system has been available to states, 10 have states processed their full voter lists,” the report states. “As of June 22, 2026, a total of 25 different states processed more than 68 million registration records through the SAVE system,” and DHS has found over 400,000 deceased registrants and over 28,000 non-citizens were discovered

“There is an undeniable pattern emerging as DHS begins to unravel the horrific damage done by the open border policies of the Biden administration. States that have adopted alien-first policies instead of American-first policies have a disproportionate number of non-citizens on their voter rolls,” the report states.

The Department of Homeland Security announced last week that states could be eligible for a Homeland Security Grant Program funding opportunity if they “use the reliable and free U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) system to verify the citizenship status of everyone listed in the state voter registration database.”

As demonstrated by the sample data to the right, these states are serious about ensuring that only US citizens vote in US elections. DHS applauds their efforts to prevent non-citizens from registering and to remove ineligible registrants who unlawfully register.

Several other proactive state officials have also signed Memoranda of Agreement with USCIS to utilize the SAVE system and have processed portions of their state voter rolls. Unfortunately, due to the actions of the activist Judge Sparkle Sooknanan, many of the enhancements to this service of USCIS have been suspended pending appeal. As a result, US citizens are at risk of having their votes diluted by ineligible alien voters.

UNAMBIGUOUS CONTRAST: There is an undeniable pattern emerging as DHS begins to unravel the horrific damage done by the open border policies of the Biden administration. States that have adopted alien-first policies instead of American-first policies have a disproportionate number of non-citizens on their voter rolls.

“State election officials in California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Nevada have been notified of this serious threat to national security and DHS stands ready to support their efforts to identify and remove ineligible registrants. The investigation is expanding to include multiple additional states,” the report further notes. “In addition, DHS will support the Department of Justice’s review of voter files obtained pursuant to their enforcement authority under the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 and the Help America Vote Act of 2002.”

One of the candidates is Ashley Webb, who was asked at one point about qualifications to run for a senate seat.

Webb responded by talking about writing music and books. Then, this person added a point about not lying or deceiving anyone.
