A truly bizarre and disgusting scene unfolded in Democrat-run Kansas City, Missouri, this week when firefighters had to take a power saw to a porta-potty to free a man who somehow managed to get stuck underneath the toilet seat.
Authorities were called after people heard knocking and screaming coming from the portable toilet near East 17th Street and The Paseo, according to Citizen App.

When crews arrived, they found the man trapped beneath the seat with his upper body wedged under the bowl and his lower half submerged in the waste tank.

Once he was finally pulled free, firefighters escorted the man to a nearby fire truck, where he was hosed off before receiving further medical attention.

He did make it out of there and the firetrucks literally hosed him down.
The man’s identity has not been released, and authorities have not publicly explained exactly how he ended up trapped beneath the toilet seat.
Social media users were left stunned after footage of the rescue spread online, with many questioning how such an incident was even physically possible.
The Kansas City Fire Department has not released additional details regarding the unusual rescue.

And on the island, they are taking whatever precautions they feel will leave them more secure in the face of this danger.
Yesterday (15), news arose that the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources is ‘halting new collaboration with US partners’ in order to ‘protect its data and scientists’.
The Institute is regarded as Greenland’s leading environmental and natural-resource research center.
BREAKING: Greenland’s Institute of Natural Resources and Environment has announced it will not enter into any new collaborations with U.S. institutions, marking a significant shift in scientific cooperation.
“’I can confirm that we made the decision to only engage in projects with US partners that we already are or have been working with’, Josephine Nymand, director of the institute, told news agency AFP.”
Greenland’s decision comes as tensions have resurfaced over US President Donald J. Trump’s vows to ‘seize’ the Arctic island – be it by buying it, or else obtaining control by any other means, including a military invasion.
“In an interview with Greenland’s public broadcaster, KNR, she said the decision was based on a need to protect the institute’s data and scientists, citing the Trump administration’s deletion of troves of scientific data and refusal to allow some foreign scientists into the United States.
‘I can’t do much to help our compatriots if they are detained’ on arrival in the United States, she told KNR. ‘That’s why we decided the best thing was not to go there in the current situation’.”
“GINR, also known as Pinngortitaleriffik, monitors living resources and the environment in Greenland, will not be doing new research projects with the US, Danish broadcaster DR reported.
Citing Greenland-based radio KNR, the report said the institute’s employees had been told by its director, Josephine Nymand, not to travel to the US to attend conferences or participate in research projects.
‘We do not enter into new agreements or projects with the USA with partners we do not know’, Nymand said.

REPORT: Pentagon Draws Up Plans for Possible Military Action Against Communist Cuba

Senior Pentagon officials are reviewing military options for Cuba as the Trump administration intensifies pressure on Havana’s communist government.
According to CBS News, the planning reportedly includes a possible Army-led air assault involving thousands of U.S. troops from the 101st Airborne Division.
Officials stressed that no operation has been approved and that the discussions remain at the contingency-planning stage.
The review follows months of escalating pressure on the communist regime.

President Trump restored Cuba’s designation as a state sponsor of terrorism after returning to office, expanded restrictions on travel and financial transactions, and targeted the military-controlled conglomerate GAESA, which dominates much of the island’s hard-currency economy.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio has pushed for a negotiated transition to a reform-minded government, but talks have stalled.
In a recent statement, Rubio said Cuba’s ruling elite continues to maintain “total control” while clinging to a “morally bankrupt Marxist ideology.”

The State Department has also imposed new restrictions on Cuban state entities accused of funding security forces and paramilitary groups used to suppress dissent.
Military planners reportedly held a concept-of-operations briefing late last month to assess potential missions, troop requirements, logistics, and risks.
Any move against Cuba would compete with ongoing U.S. military operations against Iran, which have already drawn aircraft, intelligence assets, and other resources into the Middle East.
Cuba has also raised new security concerns after obtaining attack drones of unknown origin and deepening ties with the likes of Russia, China, and Iran.
During a June visit to Guantanamo Bay, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth warned Havana against acquiring weapons capable of threatening the U.S. base or the American homeland.
“It would be unwise for the government of Cuba to try to procure or get access to the types of weapons that could reach this base or the American homeland,” Hegseth said.
“They would be inviting the kind of confrontation not only do they not want, but they could not stand.”

Cause of Death Revealed for “Jurassic Park” Actor Sam Neill, Who Died Suddenly After Beating Cancer

The cause of death for New Zealand actor Sam Neill has been officially revealed after his tragic passing earlier this week.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Neill, who shot to global prominence as the main character in the 1993 blockbuster “Jurassic Park,” died unexpectedly on Monday at the age of 78.
The family of Neill released a statement on Instagram announcing his passing, which they described as “sudden and unexpected.”
Philip Grenz, Neill’s manager, revealed to TMZ on Wednesday that the actor succumbed to pneumonia.
TMZ reported on Tuesday that one of Neill’s former co-stars, “Hunt for the Wilderpeople” actress Rima Te Wiata said that Neill had been battling pneumonia prior to his passing.
Te Wiata and Neill starred together in the 2016 film.
Neill previously announced back in April that he was cancer-free after receiving treatment for stage-three blood cancer.
Making the loss even more tragic is the fact that Neill had just beaten cancer just before passing away.
In 2023, Neill revealed that he had been diagnosed with stage 3 blood cancer.
Specifically, he was diagnosed with angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, which is a fast-growing, rare type of blood cancer.
Neill announced back in April that he was cancer-free after undergoing treatment for his cancer.
“I’ve just had a scan just now, and there is no cancer in my body, that’s an extraordinary thing,” Neill said back then. “I’m very, very excited that this can happen.”
In addition to playing Dr. Alan Grant in the original Jurassic Park film, Neill reprised the role in “Jurassic Park III” and “Jurassic Park World Dominion.”
These two movies were released in 2001 and 2022, respectively.
Neill also had roles in several other well-recognized films, including “The Piano,” “The Hunt for Red October,” “Event Horizon,” and “The Horse Whisperer.”

In February 2026, the United States and Israel conducted military strikes against Iran, which resulted in the death of the Iranian dictator, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and started another major war in the Middle East. Five months later, it has become unclear how long this war will last or what the objective even is.
The past few months have seen a nonstop back-and-forth on the status of the war, creating a lot of confusion for the general public. Throughout the war, Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most vital energy chokepoints and an important trading route. The closure of the straight has brought massive inflation to the U.S., with gas price averages rising close to $4 a gallon.
One moment, President Trump says that a peace deal is on the horizon; the next moment, U.S. strikes against Iran intensify. One moment talks about reopening the Strait of Hormuz see progress; the next moment, Iran closes the strait once again.
The Gateway Pundit spoke to lawmakers on Capitol Hill as fears arise that a new “forever war” is brewing in the Middle East and could last for years, even decades.
Senator Josh Hawley, R-MO, is hoping that the war will end very soon, while expressing gratitude that President Trump reimposed heavy oil sanctions on Iran:
“I’m glad the President put oil sanctions back on Iran. I don’t know why we’d want to give them any money. I’m glad the President said that we will never, ever, ever give them a dime of U.S. money,” Hawley told TGP in an exclusive interview.
“These people are unbelievable terrorists. Having said that, I wanna see the fighting stop as soon as possible. So y’know, we’ll see. I think the President’s doing a good job.”
Senator John Kennedy, R-LA, expressed support for President Trump’s handling of the Iran war and believes the president is “doing the right thing.”
“He’s reimposed sanctions on Iran. He’s imposed the blockade again. Iran is effectively going to starve to death. I hate to see it for the Iranian people, but their government they’re as crazy as a bedbug. It’s like dealing with the son of Sam or Charlie Mason,” Kennedy told TGP in an exclusive interview.
Kennedy then called on various allies of the U.S. to pitch in and help out with the Iran war:
“A lot of countries depend on oil that comes through the Strait of Hormuz, and they should be helping us. The other Middle Eastern countries, Saudi Arabia has planes and guns, and so does the UAE. They should be helping. Europe should be helping. It’s not just an American problem, it’s a world problem.”
Rep. Maxwell Frost, D-FL, took the opportunity to criticize the war in Iran, calling it an “illegal war.”
“It shouldn’t have even started to begin with, you know? Americans are paying for this at the gas pump. We’re paying for it with our tax dollars. Innocent people are dying,” Frost told TGP in an exclusive interview. Frost then decided to throw in a negative comment about President Trump:
“This is the guy who said he wouldn’t put us in more forever wars. So it’s just another tick in the thing of politicians lying to people and people having no faith in our system. It’s pretty disgusting.”

“He needed to do that back in February, and he got impatient, decided to go to war instead, when he didn’t have the buy-in of Congress or the American people,” Subramanyam told TGP.
“The first thing I would do if I were him is come to Congress and get approval for this war. The second thing I would do is figure out a way to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and it seems that’s a difficult thing for him to do these days.”
Unlike Frost and Subramanyam, Senator Roger Marshall, R-KS, urged the country to stand behind President Trump and insisted that Iran cannot have nuclear weapons:
“I think this is a time to stand behind our President, a time to support our troops, and at the end of the day, we cannot let the Iranian theocracy have nuclear weapons. So to some extent it’s up to them, but I do think it’s time for us to take action,” Marshall told TGP in an exclusive interview.
“Look, I hate war, just like President Eisenhower said, ‘I hate war only as a soldier who lived it,’ but the consequences of Iran having nuclear weapons is something that’ll have an impact for generations to come. I just wish someone else had taken care of this before, but now it falls upon us.”
President Trump promised the American people a quick end to the conflict back in February, but that is starting to seem unlikely as the conflict drags on and peace is uncertain. The more time that passes, the less confidence there is that this will be a quick and easy conflict.
