The illegal alien from Montenegro whom Sen. Richard Blumenthal, Rep. John Larson, and other Connecticut Democrats breathlessly defended against ICE has been caught registered to vote in the Nutmeg State, falsely claiming U.S. citizenship on his voter registration form.

Sead “Seyo” Cecunjanin, a West Hartford restaurant and dry-cleaning business owner, was detained by ICE on June 20, 2026, outside a Dunkin’ Donuts on Park Road.

According to the Department of Homeland Security, Cecunjanin is a criminal illegal alien who entered the United States illegally in 1997 using a fraudulent Dutch passport.

An immigration judge issued a final order of removal against him that same year. He has a prior DUI conviction and reportedly left the country in 2024 only to be released back in under the Biden administration despite that longstanding removal order.

But you wouldn’t know any of that from listening to Blumenthal and the Connecticut Democrat machine. They rushed to his defense, organizing press conferences, rallying the community, and painting ICE as the villain for daring to enforce the law against a so-called “law-abiding” pillar of the community.

Blumenthal called the ICE action “overreaching – inhumanely and illegally,” while Larson labeled the arrest “heartbreaking” and bragged about standing up to ICE. They helped secure his release just days later on July 3.

Now, the mask is off. A voter registration form obtained and circulated by the West Hartford Republicans and “Connecticut Citizens Against Ned Lamont” shows Cecunjanin registered to vote in Connecticut on September 27, 2018.

He checked “yes” affirming U.S. citizenship, listed his West Hartford address, and the state accepted and processed it the same day. The form carries a clear warning right above his signature: knowingly making a false citizenship claim is punishable by up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.

West Hartford Republicans wrote on X:

Democrats claim this is impossible and doesn’t happen, and is a “right wing conspiracy”. Unfortunately they are only obfuscating the truth and deceiving the public, and now the West Hartford RTC has the receipts to prove it.

Given the news in recent weeks about ICE activity in West Hartford, the RTC filed the attached Freedom of Information Act Request on July 16. The Registrars of Voters office of West Hartford responded to our request with the attached voter registration card for Sead/Seyo Cecunjanin, who according to D.H.S. is an illegal alien with a final order of removal who has been living illegally in the United States for decades.

This voter registration card reveals that Sead Cecunjanin misrepresented that he was a citizen of the United States in order to obtain a driver’s license. It reveals an illegal alien was an unaffiliated, ACTIVE registered voter in West Hartford who could have walked into his designated polling location – King Philip School – and voted in West Hartford in any of our elections from 2018 to 2023.

The Registrar’s office was unable to respond to the portion of our request relating to the mechanism by which an illegal alien was registered to vote in our town. However, careful examination of the Connecticut Voter Registration System card shows that on 9/28/18, a user named “ROUSSEAU” entered the following under a memo description line: “NEW/DMV Request received on 09/27/2018”

The Bottom Line: A “request” came in from a Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles and a day later, an illegal alien was an active, registered voter in West Hartford.

Even a Democrat can put two and two together on this one!

“Video footage circulating on social media shows the moment the two trams collided. One tram can be seen hurtling into another stationary railcar.

Two trams derailed after colliding in the Dutch city of Rotterdam on Wednesday morning, leaving 15 people injured, according to local authorities.”

The incident occurred at around 11:10 a.m., and the Erasmus Bridge has been closed to traffic.

“Firefighters, paramedics, and police officers attended the scene alongside an air ambulance. Seven people were taken to hospital for treatment, with one person seriously injured, officials said. Paramedics were able to attend to the rest of the injuries at the scene.”

The US military on Tuesday unleashed the 11th consecutive night of strikes against Iran.

CENTCOM struck aircraft hangars, drone storage facilities and maritime capabilities.

President Trump last week said the ceasefire with Iran is over after Tehran struck vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.

At 8 p.m. ET on July 21, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) successfully completed the 11th consecutive evening of strikes against Iran.

CENTCOM assets targeted Iranian military operations centers, maritime capabilities, aircraft hangars, drone storage facilities, and military logistics infrastructure to further degrade Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

Over the past three months, Iran has attacked more than 30 commercial vessels transiting the international waterway vital for regional and global trade. The unwarranted attacks have endangered hundreds of innocent mariners and undermined freedom of navigation.

Despite Iranian aggression, the Strait of Hormuz remains open for commercial vessel transit. Since early May, CENTCOM forces have helped facilitate the transit of approximately 900 commercial vessels and 450 million barrels of crude oil.
