WHAT? Hillary Clinton Calls the Sudden Rise of Socialism in the Democrat Party ‘Healthy’ (VIDEO)

While speaking at a recent event, Hillary Clinton commented on the sudden rise of radical socialism in the Democrat Party, calling the development ‘healthy.’
Hillary is known for wanting to be in sync with any new development in among Democrats. Lots of Democrats have tried to tie themselves to this new movement within the party to make themselves seem ‘with it’ but Ms. Clinton’s analysis seems bizarre.
Clinton’s eyebrow-raising socialism take sparks brutal mockery: ‘Definition of insanity’
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called the Democratic Party’s current “experiment” amid the rise of democratic socialist candidates “healthy,” drawing swift conservative backlash from critics who accused her of embracing the party’s socialist wing.
“The Democratic Party right now is, I think, going through a kind of experiment, like who can actually respond particularly to young people’s very real concerns about where they are at this point in their lives and what kind of future do they have for themselves? I think that is healthy,” said Clinton.
Clinton, a matriarch of the Democratic Party, defeated democratic socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders in the 2016 presidential primary. Her remarks come as socialist candidates increasingly challenge establishment-backed Democrats in races across the country.
Clinton spoke Monday in conversation with the Hamptons Institute, weighing in on the Democratic Party’s ideological direction as it searches for ways to connect with younger voters while democratic socialist candidates have increasingly notched wins during the primary season.
The moderator asked Clinton where she sees the future of the Democratic Party as it undergoes a “major upheaval between center-left and democratic socialists” during their conversation on diplomacy, national security and global leadership.

Separate Mobs Storm Pharmacy, Fast-Food Restaurant in LA ‘Street Takeovers’
August 25, 2026
California’s criminals now run the state.
This is not hyperbole to jab at California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom or Los Angeles Democratic Mayor Karen Bass, but an observation of the absolute chaos that unfolded during a “street takeover” that happened over the weekend in that city.
KTLA reported Monday on two separate break-ins that took place during two different takeovers less than 2 miles from each other.
One happened around 11 p.m. at the Lorena Pharmacy.
Footage began circulating on social media platform X showing the suspects at the doors, seemingly sawing through security bars to access it.
KTLA said they were seen leaving with baskets of merchandise.
Police told the outlet 100 people were in the area and as many as 10 people went in the store.
Street takeovers just hit the pharmacy. Sunday night at 10:57, about 100 people locked down Lorena Street and Whittier Boulevard in Boyle Heights, and while that circus ran, a crew sawed the security bars at Lorena Pharmacy, smashed the glass, and ran out with baskets of… https://t.co/SYIeBNpqANpic.twitter.com/s2mhmfRx9d
Footage of people sawing through security bars and mobs in the streets looks like something from a third-world country.
This is the United States of America, the most prosperous and powerful country on Earth.
Can we really expect Democrats to keep businesses and neighborhoods safe at this point?
These are the same people who did not have fire hydrants with water ready as flames engulfed Los Angeles in January 2025.
Every incident like this reminds millions of Americans why Newsom must never be allowed anywhere near the executive office.
Under his leadership, a state that was once a powerhouse of commerce, industry, technological innovation, and entertainment has become a source of national embarrassment as residents flee in anger and frustration.
ICE Chief: Agents Being Stalked and Harassed in Los Angeles – LAPD Bound by ‘Sanctuary Policies’ Doing Nothing
August 25, 2026
ICE officers working in Los Angeles are being followed home, harassed on social media and confronted in person while carrying out immigration enforcement, the agency’s local field office director said this week.
Those officers receive little assistance from local police.
LAPD policy, rooted in Special Order 40 and the city’s sanctuary ordinance, bars officers from initiating action solely to determine immigration status or assisting in civil immigration enforcement, according to a statement from Chief Jim McDonnell.
Los Angeles ICE Field Office Director Thomas Giles told Fox News Digital that the sanctuary rules force his agents into the community instead of allowing secure transfers at local jails. Fox News Digital accompanied Giles and a team of officers on an enforcement operation in the Los Angeles area early last Thursday morning.
“The sanctuary policies definitely impact our operations in terms of it’d be a lot easier for us to have that transfer of custody in a secure environment,” Giles said. “So, what it does for us is it sends our officers out into the community, putting our officers at risk and other community members at risk.”
Giles said that before the current rules, officers picked up hundreds of people a day at local jails. Now local law enforcement “can’t even work with us,” creating what he called “a big, huge public safety threat.”
One target in Thursday’s operation illustrated the problem. Local police had arrested 20-year-old Honduran national Julio Alberto Aroca-Rodriguez the week before for assault with a deadly weapon using a baseball bat. He had been subject to a removal order since 2019. Authorities declined ICE’s detainer request and released him.
When ICE officers later encountered Aroca-Rodriguez, they also detained four other illegal immigrants identified as collaterals. A crowd of anti-ICE agitators began to form, and the team quickly relocated.
“My officers have been followed home and been harassed, harassed on social media, harassed just personally, and they get in your face and everything else,” Giles said.
He criticized agitators who wear masks while complaining about ICE officers doing the same. “They look the same as we do as well,” he said.
Giles described the treatment of ICE officers by many California politicians, the media and some members of the public as “degrading to the work that the men and women of ICE do.”
Yet he stressed the policies will not stop operations. “It’s not going to shut us down and stop us,” Giles said.
Fox News Digital witnessed the processing of Aroca-Rodriguez, who remained in custody pending removal to Honduras. Five other illegal immigrants were processed for removal proceedings during the operation.
The officers’ decision to leave the area quickly after the crowd formed underscored the daily operational pressure created by non-cooperation from local authorities.
The result is that federal officers must operate without local backup in a high-risk environment. Supporting officers who face stalking and harassment while enforcing the law reflects a core American commitment to the rule of law and public safety.
Readers should care about this story because sanctuary rules shift risk onto federal agents and the community. When local authorities decline detainers for people already arrested for violent crimes, ICE must conduct more dangerous street operations.
Giles praised his team as Americans who “love this country” and “want to support the Constitution.” “We’re out doing our job; we are sworn law enforcement officers. We’re out trying to keep the community safe just like other law enforcement officers,” he said.
As long as those policies remain in place, the agency’s field teams will continue operating under elevated risk, relying on their own resources and determination to carry out the same enforcement mission that local non-cooperation has made more difficult and more exposed.
Pro Forma Sessions Look Like Betrayal — But Senate Republicans Have Confirmed 95% of Trump’s Floor-Ready Nominees [WATCH]
August 25, 2026
Every few days during Senate recesses—including the current stretch that began in mid-August and runs into September, with more breaks scheduled through the fall—a single Republican senator often boards a plane, flies back to Washington, walks onto an almost empty Senate floor, bangs a gavel for a few seconds, and flies home again.
The lights stay on.
The chamber is technically “in session.”
And across the internet, Trump’s base is boiling over.
MAGA voters watch the same ugly loop: senators leave town for another long recess while the Save America Act sits untouched, then return just long enough to bang a gavel and “block” President Trump from making recess appointments.
Comment sections explode with accusations of betrayal.
“We are voting all the R.A.T.s out!” has become a rallying cry.
Senators who once drew standing ovations are now branded as sellouts for the thirty-second performance.
Stop.
Here is the part the outrage machine keeps skipping.
By early August 2026, Senate Republicans had confirmed 591 of President Trump’s civilian nominations in his second term. Of the civilian nominees who had actually reached the Senate floor and were ready for a vote, roughly 95 percent were already confirmed.
Only about 10 remained on the calendar.
At the same exact point In Trump’s first term, 155 nominees sat stranded on that calendar.
The numbers are not close.
WHAT THE SENATORS TOLD THE GATEWAY PUNDIT
In the frantic hours before the August recess, as senators shuffled between votes and raced for the exits, The Gateway Pundit pressed Republican lawmakers on the practice now driving their own voters into open revolt.
Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., went first.
“I don’t know enough about it– about recess appointments,” Tuberville told TGP in an exclusive interview. “They said every president’s had them in the past but President Trump has not had any. You’ll have to ask leadership about why they haven’t given him the opportunity for recess appointments. But we do the pro forma. And we’ve all done that.
“We have to come here when the floor has been— nobody else is here. But we have to open the floor.”
Asked whether senators must perform the duty, Tuberville replied, “Well, you know, they put you down on a list. It’s all by volunteer basis. But, it’d be a good question to ask leadership… why they don’t allow [Trump] recess appointments.”
Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., has been publicly branded “disgusting” and relentlessly dragged across comment sections for participating in the very pro forma sessions now fueling the revolt.
Confronted with the MAGA base’s fury over the gavel-ins, he made one thing crystal clear: he can’t stand them either.
“I’m not a huge fan of that practice — I have to be honest with you,” Hawley told The Gateway Pundit in an exclusive interview. “Now the good thing is… I think there will be, after we are done here tomorrow or next week, there will be no open nominations. Because we changed the rules.
“We changed the rules to be able to confirm all of the president’s nominees, which is something we ought to do with the filibuster…the Democrats were blocking all of his nominations, so we changed it so we can pass all of them. We ought to do that with the filibuster, because [Democrats are] abusing it in the same way.”
Hawley’s prediction of zero remaining nominations was close but not exact: roughly 10 civilian nominees remain on the Executive Calendar out of the hundreds that have been confirmed.
By comparison, at the same exact point in Trump’s first term, 155 nominees sat stranded on the calendar. The broader point holds: the backlog has been dramatically reduced.
Sen. Mike Rounds, R-S.D., delivered the institutional defense.
“The United States Senate is responsible for advise and consent,” Rounds told TGP in an exclusive interview.
“And regardless of Republican or Democrat, we want to have a say on those individuals,” Rounds continued. “If you are going to do recess appointments, that means the Senate walks away from its responsibilities, constitutional responsibility, to participate in that process…We are going to continue to keep that role in play by saying that we are not allowing recess appointments, whether you are a Republican or a Democrat.”
Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-Mo., drove home the results of the September 2025 rules change that first allowed en bloc confirmation of lower-level civilian nominees.
“When the Democrats were blocking the appointments… we actually changed the rules. So, we can do en bloc appointments now,” Schmitt told TGP in an exclusive interview. “It used to be, you had to do one by one. Democrats were dragging that out, and you had a record low number of appointments. Now because we changed the rules to do the en bloc appointments, we are actually ahead of pace than President Trump’s first term… We are getting those nominations through…We were… anticipating the Democrats’ obstructionism. We… accounted for that…that’s a good development.”
“I get it. As one of President Trump’s closest allies, the last thing we want to do is hold up his appointments. So, we are moving forward,” Schmitt added.
HOW RECESS APPOINTMENTS DIED
Gateway Pundit analysis of historical recess appointment data.Gateway Pundit analysis of Senate confirmation data.
For decades, presidents of both parties routinely used recess appointments. That tool has effectively disappeared.
Reagan made 240. George W. Bush made 171. Obama made 32. Both Trump (first term) and Biden recorded zero.
The decline accelerated after Democrats began using pro forma sessions against George W. Bush in 2007 and was locked in by the Supreme Court’s 2014 NLRB v. Noel Canning decision, which held that recesses shorter than 10 days are generally too brief for the president to make recess appointments.
TRUMP’S SECOND TERM VS. FIRST TERM: THE CONFIRMATION NUMBERS THE OUTRAGE MACHINE IGNORES
The current pace for civilian confirmation is dramatically faster than the first term at the same point. Judicial confirmations are also ahead of the early first-term rate.
The sessions still look bad.
The confirmation record is historic.
And if the base is still searching for traitors, it might want to aim a little higher than the senators who drew the short straw to bang a gavel in an empty room.
OUTRAGE: WNBA Store Blocks “Jesus Christ” on Custom Jersey — While “Muhammad” and “Allahu Akbar” Clear Initial Filter
August 25, 2026
The leftist WNBA and its official store just delivered another gut punch to traditional America.
The official WNBA Store appears to have some explaining to do after its customization system rejected the name “Jesus Christ” and the phrase “Jesus is God” while allowing Islamic names and phrases to pass through its initial screening filter.
The apparent double standard exploded across social media after Libs of TikTok tested the WNBA’s online custom-jersey system.
“The WNBA store BANS you from customizing a jersey with the name ‘Jesus Christ,’” Libs of TikTok reported, adding that the system did not immediately reject “Muhammad” or “Allahu Akbar.”
And the results were not difficult to reproduce.
The Gateway Pundit conducted a live test on Tuesday on an official WNBA Store Chicago Sky custom jersey, which produced the same disturbing discrepancy.
When “Jesus Christ” was entered into the jersey’s name field, the store immediately displayed the following warning:
“We are unable to customize this item with the text you have entered. Please try a different entry.”
But when “Muhammad” was entered, no comparable warning appeared.
“Allahu Akbar” also cleared the initial name filter without triggering the rejection message.
The same tool cheerfully accepts “Praise Allah,” “Bow to Islam,” “Hate Jesus,” and even “Hate Whites.
WOW
The WNBA store BANS you from customizing a jersey with the name “Jesus Christ,” but ALLOWS you to make a jersey with names like “Muhammad” and “Allahu Akbar”
In other words, the full name of Jesus Christ was stopped immediately, while the Islamic phrase “Allahu Akbar,” Arabic for “God is greatest,” passed the same initial screening system.
However, the filter did not immediately reject “Jesus” or “Christ” when each was tested separately. That suggests the system may be programmed to target the specific Christian word combination.
The WNBA Store is operated through Fanatics, the same retailer that runs customization for multiple leagues. Fanatics publicly states it rejects “slang, phrases or profanity.”
So you can get “Praise Allah,” “Hate Jesus,” “bow to Islam” and “hate whites” on a WNBA jersey from the store but not “Jesus is God” or “Jesus Christ”…
According to some users, the website may have been updated following backlash. However, phrases such as “Jesus Christ” and “Jesus is God” reportedly remain blocked.
The controversy comes as the WNBA is already facing mounting accusations that it selectively silences viewpoints that conflict with the league’s increasingly radical political culture.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Alliance Defending Freedom recently warned WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert about potential legal liability after fans supporting women’s sports were allegedly intimidated and ordered to conceal their shirts.
In Seattle, teenage girls carrying signs thanking Sophie Cunningham for defending female athletes were reportedly berated by a Seattle Storm co-owner.
At another game in Atlanta, a mother and her 17-year-old daughter were ordered to cover their XX-XY Athletics shirts or leave the arena. The WNBA later admitted, “This should not have happened.”
“The WNBA should stand up for women and free expression, not sacrifice them out of fear,” ADF warned.
Then, as The Gateway Pundit reported Monday, former NBA star Enes Kanter Freedom was escorted from an Indiana Fever–Chicago Sky game following a heated confrontation while wearing a shirt defining a woman as an “adult human female.”
Now the league’s official storefront is blocking “Jesus Christ” while other religious expressions pass its initial filter.
