Top Democrats joined alongside Socialist candidates and Communist influencer Hasan Piker at the 2026 College Democrats of America summer convention, which resembled more of a Democratic Socialists of America gathering this year. 

The two-day conference was held in Washington, DC, over the weekend.

Among the speakers at the event were Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), gun control poster child David Hogg, Colorado Socialist House candidate Milat Kiros, Ohio House Candidate Kristina Knickerbocker, and  Hassan Piker.

Piker delivered his speech, dressed in Mao Zedong-like attire, demanding, “No more to Trumpism” and “No more to the Democrats who compromise, who conciliate, and who betray us.”

“No more to the fascist reactionaries, but no more to the Democrats who will collaborate and cooperate with the fascists, who will fund ICE, who will fund Israel, who will help poison the planet, who will stiff workers and help bosses. We don’t need those Democrats anymore,” he declared.

Kamala Harris, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker, Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy, and Texas Senate candidate James Talarico also sent in video messages.

Crazed Democratic Maryland Congressman Jamie Raskin delivered an unhinged speech, where he sounded the alarm on the Trump Administration and conservatives.

Raskin told the crowd of Socialists, who want to abolish the Senate, overhaul the Supreme Court, and replace the President with an unelected bureaucrat chosen by and subordinate to Congress, that the Republicans are “savage destroyers” of the Constitution.

He further called the elected Republican-controlled government “constitutional illiterates.”

“We’re the ones standing up for democracy and human rights all over the world. That’s who we are. That’s our assignment,” Raskin told the crowd.

“And what are they doing? They’re siding with the autocrats, the kleptocrats, the theocrats, the plutocrats. But we’re the democrats, and we’re standing up for democracy wherever it’s under attack around the world.”

“And guess where it’s under attack? Right here in the United States of America. Right here. Our whole Constitution is under attack. These people are constitutional illiterates, and they’re savage destroyers of our Constitution. We need to go out and give them a constitutional lesson. We’re the ones standing up for.”

Of course, when the final match was over, the Argentine losers had no better idea than to physically assault Spanish champions in an ugly but unsurprising turn of events.

Leandro Paredes was shown a straight red card for prompting a brawl. It was the second time Argentina had received two World Cup final red cards, having had two dismissals in their 1-0 defeat by West Germany in 1990.”

While no one is expecting much from FIFA – which favored the South Americans at every turn – they had no alternative but to open an investigation today (20).

Associated Press reported:

“Video replays showed several players involved in a scuffle, including Argentina midfielder Leandro Paredes. He appeared to shove Spain’s Eric Garcia by the throat. When Spain substitute Gavi jumped in to intervene, Paredes pushed him to the ground.

Spain captain Rodri also seemed to be hit in the stomach by Argentina defender Nahuel Molina as he ran past to join teammates celebrating the title win.

Molina later crowded Rodri, who was the target of a verbal confrontation by his former Manchester City teammate Nicolas Otamendi.”

Busch Gardens Williamsburg in Virginia is preparing to host its annual Pride Day event on July 26, promoting it as a “family-friendly” celebration that includes performances by drag queens billed as “LGBTQ+ stars.”

The theme park has already disabled comments on its social media posts promoting the event following significant online backlash.

According to the park’s official event page, Pride Day will feature “sensational family-friendly entertainment by LGBTQ+ stars” in the Abbey Stone Theatre, along with a DJ dance party, specialty merchandise, a vendor fair, and other activities.

All performances are included with regular park admission.

Scheduled shows are set for 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.

The event description highlights performers including Jennifer Warner, Just Jasmin, Sabrina Lawrence, Celestia Cox, and others.

The park describes the shows as “dazzling family-friendly displays of feel-good fun” and encourages guests to “let loose and dance in your seat.”

The announcement has drawn criticism from parents who are questioning the appropriateness of drag performances at a family-oriented theme park.

Libs of TikTok highlighted the event and noted that Busch Gardens turned off comments amid the pushback.

On May 30, 71-year-old James Randall “Randy” Witten was hanging decorations up on his porch in Utah when Axel Eduardo Chavez-Marroquin, 24, pulled up in a Honda Civic in a ski mask and opened fire on him.

Witnesses heard 10-15 shots.

Axel Eduardo Chavez-Marroquin and an accomplice fled to Vegas and remained at large for weeks. He was finally taken into custody on June 16.

Chavez-Marroquin has a violent history and was repeatedly sheltered by California’s sanctuary policies.

“Chavez-Marroquin, a citizen of El Salvador, illegally entered California in 2021 and was released into the interior by the Biden administration,” Border Hawk reported.

“In 2024, he was charged with domestic violence in Santa Ana, California, and in 2025, he was charged with domestic violence in nearby Laguna Niguel,” Border Hawk said.

California officials ignored ICE detainers lodged against Chavez-Marroquin, and he went on to commit murder.

Nancy Mace has decided against running for the Senate seat left open by the death of Sen. Lindsey Graham, choosing instead to finish out her time in the House of Representatives, where she says she is focused on unfinished battles over accountability for women and the release of files tied to Jeffrey Epstein.

In a video statement released Monday, the South Carolina Republican explained that she is not backing away from a fight but is committed to the work she is already doing in Congress.

“The laws meant to protect me and other women failed us, and I won’t stop until that changes,” Mace said.

Mace added that she is “chasing justice” rather than another title.

“So I’m not chasing another title, I’m chasing justice. Justice for me, justice for other women, and justice for every little girl who was told to stay silent,” she said.

“Serving South Carolina has been the honor of my life, and I will continue to voice our values everywhere I can. I’m even going to sh-tpost from time to time because someone has to call out the dumbasses, because if we don’t, we as a country will be gone,” Mace continued.

“I love you. I want to thank you for the thousands of calls and text messages and offers to help in a race like this, and I want to say God bless you. Serving you has been the honor of my life, and I will never forget it,” she concluded.

Candidates already in or exploring the race include Rep. Ralph Norman, Rep. Russell Fry, Lindsey Graham’s sister Darline Nordone Graham, who was appointed to finish the current term, and America First businessman Mark Lynch.

Mace had previously hinted that she was exploring throwing her hat into the ring after losing her gubernatorial bid, which she gave up her House seat to pursue.
