Israel’s government today unanimously approved formal recognition of the Armenian Genocide on Sunday, marking a historic break with decades of diplomatic caution and delivering a direct rebuke to Turkey’s long campaign of denial.

The cabinet backed a proposal brought by Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar to recognize the mass killing, imprisonment and forced deportation of Armenians during the final years of the Ottoman Empire as genocide, according to a report from the Jerusalem Post. The decision must still be ratified by the Knesset before becoming Israel’s formal parliamentary position.

“A historic decision: the Israeli government has unanimously approved Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar’s proposal to recognize the Armenian genocide,” the Foreign Ministry said after the vote. For Armenians and their supporters, the move represents long-overdue moral clarity from the state of the Jewish people.
Sa’ar hailed the decision in direct and unapologetic terms. “It is never too late to do the right thing,” he said.

“This horrifying genocide, which took place more than 100 years ago and about whose historical facts there is truly no dispute, involved the murder of one and a half million people and the destruction of an ancient cultural and historical heritage,” Sa’ar said.

The foreign minister framed the recognition as a Jewish and Israeli moral obligation. “In my view, it is our moral duty as Jews—and certainly as the state of the Jewish people—to make the decision we made today,” he said.

Sa’ar also thanked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for backing the move, along with his fellow ministers for supporting it. The result was a rare unanimous decision on an issue Israel had avoided for generations.

For decades, successive Israeli governments refused to formally recognize the Armenian Genocide, largely to preserve relations with Turkey. Ankara was once one of Israel’s closest strategic partners in the Muslim world, and Israeli leaders were reluctant to provoke a diplomatic spat.

That old calculus appears to have now collapsed. Turkey under President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has moved steadily away from strategic partnership with Israel and toward an Islamist, anti-Israel posture that has made the old silence harder to justify.

Relations deteriorated sharply after the Hamas-led massacre in Israel on October 7, 2023, and the war in Gaza that followed. Erdoğan has repeatedly accused Israel of genocide in Gaza, a charge Israel strongly denies, and has compared Israeli leaders to Nazi officials.

Netanyahu has responded with force. Earlier this month, he called Erdoğan an “antisemitic dictator” who is “committing genocide against the Kurds,” supports Hamas, oppresses his own people and imprisons political opponents.

Turkey has also suspended most trade with Israel and has become one of Hamas’s most aggressive diplomatic defenders.

The Armenian people have sought international recognition for more than a century. Their case rests on the mass deportations, death marches, massacres and destruction of Armenian communities under Ottoman rule between 1915 and 1917.

Armenians say around 1.5 million people were killed. Turkey rejects the genocide label, arguing that both Armenians and Turks died amid civil war, famine and the broader violence of World War I, and placing the death toll in the hundreds of thousands.

But the historical consensus outside Turkish officialdom is clear. Scholars widely regard the mass killing of Armenians as the first genocide of the 20th century.
More than 30 UN member states now recognize the Armenian Genocide, including the United States, France, Germany, Canada and Russia. The Holy See and the European Parliament have also formally recognized it.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry said the genocide remains subject to an “institutionalized campaign of denial and minimization.” That campaign, according to the ministry, has been led primarily by Turkey.

Sa’ar made the same point before the vote, saying recognition of the genocide committed against Armenians in the final years of the Ottoman Empire is “both a moral and historical duty.” He also called for firm condemnation of “denial, minimization, or distortion of the historical truth.”

The move also arrives at a moment when the Middle East is being reshaped by the failures of globalist diplomacy. For years, Western governments have pretended that Islamist political movements, Turkish neo-Ottoman ambition and jihadist proxy networks could be managed through polite statements and trade arrangements.

The decision will almost certainly provoke Turkey, whose government has spent decades lobbying against genocide recognition abroad. Ankara has not only rejected the term, but has treated recognition efforts as hostile acts.

That posture has strained Turkey’s relations with Armenia, which has no formal diplomatic ties with Ankara. Although the two countries have occasionally signaled interest in normalization, the genocide question remains central to Armenian national memory.

Montana Puts Behavioral Health Reform in China‑Linked Hands and a Boy Ends Up with Traumatic Brain Injury

Republished with permission from AbleChild.

AbleChild was first to expose Montana’s plan to outsource the redesign of its behavioral health system to a China‑linked consulting firm, and now the traumatic brain injury of a 13‑year‑old boy at Provo Canyon School sadly demonstrates how badly that promised “mend” missed the mark.

Montana’s lawmakers promised a historic fix. With a $300 million behavioral health investment and a high‑priced consulting firm, the State’s lawmakers said they would “transform” and “mend” a system that had failed vulnerable people for years. Behind that language was a decision AbleChild flagged from the start: the state handed the redesign of its behavioral health system to Alvarez & Marsal, a private firm with business ties in China, instead of building transparent, accountable capacity in Montana. That choice was not a technical detail. It was the blueprint for what would count as “reform.”

A $300 Million “Mend” That Left a 13‑Year‑Old in a Hospital Bed

While consultants and state lawmakers talked about strategy and transformation, the state continued quietly sending children to Provo Canyon School in Utah, for-profit residential psychiatric and behavioral facility with a long history of complaints and abuse allegations. Montana has paid Provo Canyon roughly $26 million over the last decade, proving this was a pipeline, not a one‑off placement.

Then a 13‑year‑old Montana boy allegedly suffered a traumatic brain injury at Provo Canyon. Families, backed by Paris Hilton, have now taken the facility to court, alleging delays and failures in his care. Only after that catastrophic harm did Montana officials suspend new referrals to the facility.  This is what “mend” looks like in practice: a child badly injured in a facility the state has patronized for years, and reform arriving only after the fact.

The China Question No One in Power Wants to Ask

The China connection is not about Provo Canyon being a Chinese institution. It is about who Montana chose to trust with redesigning its behavioral health system and how it impacts national security and vulnerable children.

Alvarez & Marsal is a global consulting firm that does business in and with China. Montana’s decision was to pay that firm, at hundreds of dollars an hour, help steer how a $300 million “Future Generations” behavioral health investment would be structured and spent. That included advising on the overall continuum of care, financing strategies, and the shape of state services.

At a minimum, the choice raises a basic question the public deserves answered: why would any American state outsource the redesign of its already failing behavioral health system to a consulting firm tied to China, instead of building transparent, accountable capacity at home? If the result of that choice is a polished reform narrative on paper and a child with a brain injury in real life, then the outsourcing model—not just its implementation—has to be on trial.

What Real “Mending” Would Have Done

If this were genuine reform, certain basics would have been non‑negotiable:

  • Reducing reliance on controversial out‑of‑state corporate psychiatric institutions.
  • Building in‑state, community‑based alternatives with real oversight with a high focus on educational resources.
  • Systematically reviewing high‑risk legacy vendors like Provo Canyon and closing dangerous pipelines, not leaving them to run until disaster forced a pause.

Instead, while the consulting machinery turned, the state kept exporting high‑risk youth to Provo Canyon. The facility stayed open. The contracts stayed in motion. The checks kept going out. The only real break in the pattern came not from the consulting plan, but from a crisis: a 13‑year‑old boy allegedly suffering a traumatic brain injury, and families refusing to stay quiet.  That is not a system that has been mended. It is a system that has been rebranded.

The Outsourcing Logic Exposed

Defenders of the status quo will say that consultants do not make individual placement decisions. That is true on paper. But it misses the point.

Alvarez & Marsal was hired to shape the architecture in which those decisions happen: what capacities the state builds, what it buys, which gaps it accepts, how much it leans on out‑of‑state facilities, and what “success” looks like when the money has been spent. When that architecture leaves intact a pipeline sending Montana children to a controversial, for‑profit psychiatric institution—and a child comes home with a brain injury—the redesign cannot be treated as separate from the harm.

AbleChild’s earlier reporting on the China‑linked outsourcing called this risk plainly: that a system run through external consultants, rather than rebuilt with public accountability, would protect contracts and narratives before it protected children. The Provo Canyon case is that warning made visible.

Who Does This System Really Serve?

Montana’s lawmakers have talking points: historic investments, commissions, and “Future Generations” strategy documents. Families have a 13‑year‑old boy with a traumatic brain injury, a facility that should have been scrutinized long ago, and a state that only acted when the damage was too severe to ignore.  The contrast forces an uncomfortable but necessary question: who does this $300 million system really serve? The children whose lives depend on safe, effective care or the institutions and consultants that profit from the appearance of reform?

Until Montana can answer why it chose China‑linked consultants to reengineer a system that still ships kids to Provo Canyon, and why it took a child’s catastrophic injury to revisit that decision, the claim that the state has “mended” its behavioral health system rings hollow.

On Sunday, RINO Ohio Governor Mike DeWine could stop himself from lying in an effort to defend the presence of Haitians in Ohio on Temporary Protected Status (TPS).

DeWine appeared on State of the Union with Jake Tapper to weigh in on a U.S. Supreme Court ruling that allowed President Trump to end TPS for hundreds of thousands of Haitians and Syrians.

As a result, 350,000 Haitians and 6,000 Syrians will lose their status and have to return home.

Ohio will be particularly impacted by the ruling. Reports indicate that roughly 30,000 Haitians live in the Buckeye State, with almost half of those residing in Springfield.

As TGP readers know, the presence of thousands of Haitians in Springfield rightfully sparked fury from both residents and conservative politicians. They have ‘culturally enriched’ the city with activities, including committing DUIs and dining on wildlife in medieval fashion.

While most sane individuals would welcome sending these Haitians back, DeWine argued that this would be wrong due to how many are ‘working’ and ‘supporting’ families.

“It is not in the United States’ interest, certainly not in Ohio’s interest, to have people who are working every single day, supporting a family, buying houses, starting businesses, and yank them out,” he told Tapper.

WATCH:

But as one X user notes, DeWine’s statement is nothing but a huge lie.

Tara Servatius shared a Truth Social post from President Trump, which showed that roughly 50% of Haitians and Syrians are on federal welfare.

“Liberal ‘Republican’ Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, an open-borders, Karl Rove/Bush globalist, knows he’s lying his butt off here. Half of Haitians and Syrians are on federal welfare,” she wrote.

Making the lie even more obvious is the fact that DeWine was forced to send state troopers to Springfield two years ago to handle the surge of Haitians.

“These dramatic surges impact every citizen of the community, every citizen,” he said at the time.

“Moms who have to wait hours in a waiting room with a sick child, everyone who drives on the streets, and it affects children who go to school in more crowded classrooms.”

Senate Farm Bill Defunds USDA Animal Labs in China, Russia, and Other Adversarial Nations in Response to White Coat Waste Investigations

Senate Farm Bill Defunds USDA Animal Labs in China, Russia, and Other Adversarial Nations in Response to White Coat Waste Investigations
June 28, 2026

Facade of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, showcasing its name in English and Chinese, surrounded by landscaped greenery.

The Senate’s newly released version of the 2026 Farm Bill includes White Coat Waste-backed language that prohibits the U.S. Department of Agriculture from funding animal research laboratories in China, Russia, and other adversarial nations.

The provision, led by Republican Sen. Joni Ernst, appears as Section 7130 on page 495 of the bill and marks a major step toward protecting American taxpayers from subsidizing cruel and wasteful experiments in foreign laboratories.

Section 7130, titled “Limitation on certain research in countries of concern,” bars the Secretary of Agriculture, acting through the Under Secretary for Research, Education, and Economics, from conducting or funding any research, education, or extension activities involving vertebrate animals in “the People’s Republic of China, the Russian Federation, or any other foreign country of concern.”

The restriction applies to work done in those countries or in collaboration with them.

A narrow waiver will be available on a case-by-case basis only when necessary for national security, animal or crop health, or public health, safety, or welfare, but any waiver requires at least 30 days’ advance notification to congressional committees with detailed justification, including the location, collaborators, species of animals involved, costs, and duration.

This follows years of White Coat Waste investigations that uncovered shocking examples of USDA money flowing to dangerous animal experiments abroad.

One major investigation revealed that the USDA had launched a five-year, $1 million collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the parent organization of the Wuhan animal lab, to conduct gain-of-function experiments on bird flu viruses.

The goal was to enhance the viruses and test whether they could jump to mammals.

Records showed that young animals, including some just one day old, were infected and subjected to painful “severe” experiments without pain relief, often resulting in suffering and death.

After sustained pressure from White Coat Waste, bipartisan lawmakers, including Sen. Ernst and Rep. Ben Cline, and a yearlong campaign, the Trump administration’s Agriculture Secretary, Brooke Rollins, announced that the project was being canceled.

Another White Coat Waste investigation exposed USDA funding routed through U.S. universities to a Kremlin-linked institute in Russia.

Taxpayer dollars funded deadly experiments on silver foxes at a fur farm controlled by Russian authorities.

Between 2018 and 2020, the University of Illinois sent over $123,000 as part of a larger grant to study the foxes’ social behavior. The animals were ultimately killed and their brains dissected.

WATCH:

The House version of the Farm Bill, which passed in April, already included this same White Coat Waste-backed measure to cut funding for animal labs in adversarial nations.

It went even further by adding language to defund painful USDA experiments on dogs and cats and requiring all federal facilities to implement policies for retiring lab animals and making them available for adoption when testing ends.

White Coat Waste has celebrated the additions as a major victory.

In a statement provided to The Gateway Pundit, White Coat Waste Senior Vice President Justin Goodman said:

“Since White Coat Waste first exposed and ended Dr. Fauci’s reckless funding for gain-of-function animal experiments in Wuhan, we’ve led the fight to stop taxpayers from being forced to bankroll dangerous and unaccountable animal labs in China and other hostile foreign countries. Thanks to our work with Senator Joni Ernst and other bipartisan lawmakers on the Farm Bill, Congress is now closer than ever to ensuring taxpayers aren’t funding foreign enemies’ animal labs.

WCW’s investigations proved the foreign animal lab funding problem was bigger than Fauci. We also exposed—and helped end—Biden USDA funding for bird flu gain-of-function experiments with Wuhan-linked mad scientists in China and deadly brain experiments on foxes at a Kremlin-controlled fur farm in Russia.

American tax dollars should never fund animal labs in communist China, Putin’s Russia, or any other foreign adversary.

The solution is simple: Stop the money. Stop the madness.”

U.S. Immigration and Customs (ICE) announced that, following an intensive investigation by ICE Homeland Security Investigations special agents, a Mexican national living abroad is being extradited to the U.S. to face horrific charges.

Abelardo Sanchez, a 39-year-old citizen of Mexico who had been living in Dublin, Ireland before fleeing to Austria, was extradited to face justice for allegedly producing child sexual abuse material. Sanchez made his first appearance before U.S. Magistrate Judge Juan F. Alanis on June 8 in McAllen.

Special agents discovered an online account that contained child sexual abuse material during an investigation, with some of the material appearing to have been produced by Sanchez dating back to 2014.

Investigators were able to identify a child victim who lived in Texas at the time Sanchez produced the images.

Acting ICE Director David J. Venturella noted, “The fight against child sexual exploitation transcends borders. It requires collaboration between law enforcement at every level and across the world.

“HSI special agents in The Hague, Dublin and Vienna teamed up with our international law enforcement partners and our special agents in McAllen to investigate this case.”

“Our team also relied on the Department of Justice’s Office of International Affairs to assist with securing Sanchez’s arrest and extradition.”

If convicted, Sanchez faces a minimum of 25 years and a maximum of 50 years in federal prison, as well as a possible fine of up to $250,000.

Assistant U.S. Attorney M. Alexis Garcia is prosecuting the case, which was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood.

The nationwide initiative from the Department of Justice was launched in May 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.

U.S. Attorneys’ Offices and the Criminal Division’s Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section leads PSC, which marshals federal, state and local resources to locate, apprehend and prosecute individuals who sexually exploit children and identifies and rescues victims.

The great Carrie Underwood inadvertently exposed the seething hatred of the radical left after posting one of the most beautiful and patriotic videos you will ever see.

Earlier this month, Underwood shared a tear-jerking post on Instagram showing her driving past a massive fence adorned with over a thousand American flags along the length of the property.

The image of American flags paired perfectly with the naturally gorgeous Tennessee countryside on a sunny day.

Making the post even more perfect is the fact that it comes as America is about to celebrate its 250th anniversary.

“I can’t believe I get to live here. 🥹 Thank you, Lord. #GodBlessAmerica #Grateful #TN,” Underwood wrote in the caption.

The Daily Express reported that the incredible display was put on by Semler Cattle Company, which is located near Underwood’s Tennessee home.

Ordinary Americans were in awe of the display. Many were quick to note how beautiful it was, and others mentioned they were brought to tears.

But the hateful left lashed out and attacked her like the demons they are.

Per TV Insider, here were some of the worst reactions:

“Where is this?? Seems a bit much lol in any county with any flag. Just my opinion.”.

“F** her. She’s MAGA.”

“How pathetic of you to put up American flags while you support a traitor.”

“Fake patriotism is measured in the amount of decorations on holidays.”
