Here we go again.

Retiring RINO Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) launched another broadside against the Trump Administration on Wednesday, this time demanding that President Donald Trump fire Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

Tillis issued the stunning demand following the resignation of Army Secretary Dan Driscoll, who announced that Wednesday would be his final full day in the position after serving for approximately 18 months.

The North Carolina senator began by praising Driscoll as “the right man at the right moment” to lead the Army.

“Our understanding and assumptions of warfare are being challenged in places like Ukraine and Iran, and Dan understands the old way of doing business no longer applies,” Tillis wrote.

Tillis then turned his fire on Hegseth, accusing the Trump Cabinet official of driving talented military leaders out of the Pentagon.

“If we had a @SecWar who maintained the same priorities and forward-thinking, he would be fighting to retain talented leaders like Dan and the many flag officers he has forced into retirement,” Tillis wrote.

“Instead, he is creating a leadership void at the top of our military ranks.”

Then came Tillis’s demand that Trump replace Hegseth.

“I served on Senate Armed Services for 8 years and as chair or ranking member of the Personnel and Readiness subcommittee. I have never witnessed more inept management of the brave men and women who serve our country.”

“He is intimidated by competence and retreats to ginning up culture wars instead of soberly attending to the vital work of our national defense and the health and well-being of our fighting force.”

“I urge the President to find a new leader at the Pentagon who will retain and empower our military talent rather than diminish it.”

Tillis’s attack conveniently ignores Driscoll’s own farewell statement.

Although establishment media outlets have reported tensions between Driscoll and Hegseth, the outgoing Army secretary did not blame Hegseth for his departure. Instead, Driscoll publicly thanked him.

“We could not have made the progress we did without the support of Secretary Hegseth,” Driscoll wrote. He also described serving under President Trump and Hegseth as “the honor of a lifetime.”

That did not stop Tillis from immediately exploiting Driscoll’s departure to demand another scalp from the Trump Administration.

Hegseth’s father, Brian Hegseth, delivered a brutal response to the outgoing senator.

“I wanted to reply in the strongest fashion; but all I had to do was read all of the comments below and smile! You, sir are irrelevant.”

Tillis’s latest outburst should surprise absolutely no one.

In March, The Gateway Pundit reported that Tillis went on CNN and demanded that Trump fire White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, calling the America First immigration hawk a “big problem” with “outsized influence.”

In May, The Gateway Pundit reported that Tillis ran to CNN to attack Trump-endorsed Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton as a “failure” while showering praise on establishment Senator John Cornyn.

President Trump later blasted Tillis as a “weak and ineffective Senator” and a “QUITTER,” accusing him and his RINO allies of “screwing the Republican Party.”

Tillis has also repeatedly opposed the SAVE America Act, President Trump’s landmark election-integrity legislation requiring documentary proof of citizenship to register for federal elections.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Tillis snapped at independent journalist Sara Gonzales after she confronted him over his opposition to the legislation and the hundreds of thousands of dollars he reportedly received from industries that benefit from cheap foreign labor.

Now the retiring senator—freed from having to face Republican voters again—is attempting to dictate who should lead President Trump’s Pentagon.

Tillis voted to confirm Hegseth in 2025. The Senate ultimately confirmed him 51–50 after Vice President JD Vance cast the tie-breaking vote.

But with his political career winding down, Tillis apparently believes his final mission is to attack Trump’s most loyal America First officials on his way out the door.

President Donald Trump issued a dire warning to spineless Senate Republicans as the critical SAVE America Act remains stalled in the GOP-controlled Senate.

Appearing Wednesday on Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick’s Lt. Dan Podcast, Trump declared that if the Senate continues to stall the SAVE America Act, he will be the last Republican president in American history.

“I’ll be the last — think of it, I will be the last Republican president if that happens,” Trump said. “And you’ll never have a Republican president again.”

The president laid out exactly how the Democrats plan to lock in permanent power if Republicans lose the midterms and fail to secure the elections first.

If Democrats regain Congress, they will nuke the filibuster in their first hour, something Trump has said for months they will do without hesitation, and immediately grant statehood to Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico.

That would mean four new Democrat senators and eight to ten new Democrat House members overnight. Republicans currently pull about 3 percent of the vote in both D.C. and Puerto Rico. This is not a toss-up. It is a rigged expansion of the radical Left’s map.

“It’s radical left ideology, and you’ll have four more senators, and you’ll have eight to ten more Congresspeople, and you’ll never ever have an election,” Trump said. “And it would be an unforced error because you can stop it.”

On the other side of that coin is the SAVE America Act, voter photo ID, documentary proof of citizenship to register, and an end to the mail-in free-for-all except for the military, the sick, the disabled, and travelers.

“If we pass SAVE America, and we have voter identification with photo and if we have, as an example, a simple thing like place of birth… Were you born in the United States of America, right?” Trump asked.

With those basic, common-sense protections in place, Trump said Republicans will not lose for decades.

This is not a new warning. Trump has been screaming this from the rooftops for months while Senate leadership dawdles.

In a June Truth Social post, the president wrote:

Anybody who doesn’t want to Terminate the Filibuster is a FOOL, a very stupid one, at that! The Dumocrats will end it within minutes of taking office, and then rapidly proceed to destroy our Country, adding 2 Radical Left States, 4 Dumocrat Senators, many Congressmen/women, their dream of 21 Supreme Court Justices (Not just 13, an unlucky number!), an impossible to beat number of Electoral College Votes (and that’s the Ballgame!), “Popular” Vote Landslides, and so much else.

The Republican Party will never win another Election. I will, sadly, be the last Republican President. Senate Majority Leader John Thune, and the Republican Senate, must not let this “carnage” happen. They will go down on the wrong side of History, as will all Republicans who just stood by and watched. The Republican Party isn’t at stake, our Country is. TERMINATE THE FILIBUSTER, AND IMMEDIATELY APPROVE THE SAVE AMERICA ACT. GOD BLESS THE U.S.A.

The president has done his job. The House has done its job.

It is time for John Thune and the Senate holdouts to do theirs.

RINO Senate Majority Leader John Thune is now warning that Republicans could lose control of the United States Senate, after he spent months refusing to use his leadership position to pass President Trump’s overwhelmingly popular SAVE America Act.

Thune admitted during an interview with South Dakota television station KELO that he is concerned about Democrats seizing the Senate in the November midterm elections.

“I worry about that, for sure,” Thune said. “I’m a realist, and I just think you, I don’t ever try and sugarcoat things. I think it’s a competitive environment right now. I think we got the highest-quality candidates.”

Democrats need to pick up four seats to regain control of the Senate.

Perhaps Thune should ask himself why Republican voters are demoralized.

The GOP controls the White House, the House, and the Senate, yet its weak leadership has repeatedly allowed Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats to block President Trump’s America First agenda.

Nowhere has Thune’s failure been more obvious than in his handling of the SAVE America Act.

The commonsense election-integrity legislation would require documentary proof of citizenship to register to vote, mandate voter identification in federal elections, and require states to remove noncitizens from their voter rolls.

These provisions are overwhelmingly popular with the American people.

A Harvard CAPS/Harris poll found that 71% of registered voters supported the entire SAVE America Act, including 69% of independents and 50% of Democrats. The poll also found that 81% supported voter ID, 80% favored removing noncitizens from voter rolls, and 75% backed proof-of-citizenship requirements.

But John Thune still cannot, or will not, get it passed.

Senator Mike Lee responded to Thune’s interview by pointing to the obvious solution:

“If only there were a bill the Senate could reconvene to debate and pass—one supported by 80% of all voters that could unite Republicans, expand our reach, and help us win elections…

Lee also rejected Thune’s claim that Republicans lack the votes to pass the legislation.

“John Thune is mistaken,” Lee wrote.

“We do have the votes to pass the SAVE America Act—because we have a simple majority.

“All we lack is the will to enforce the talking filibuster (requiring filibustering senators to speak), and to stay in session continuously until it passes.

“It’d pass.”

Article III Project founder Mike Davis also weighed in, accusing Thune of crushing enthusiasm among Republican voters and then acting surprised by the political consequences.

During a recent episode of his podcast, Adam Carolla went off on the idea that there are people in the country who don’t pay any federal income tax, yet are still able to vote, even if it means they might be provided ‘free’ things as a result.

Carolla said that these people should not be allowed to vote because they have no skin in the game.

There are probably millions of Americans who agree with him on this.

Adam Carolla has actually been saying stuff like this for years.

Here’s something he said all the way back in 2012. From Yahoo Finance:

“I’ve noticed this division over the last few months and years in this country where somehow guys who work hard, make a good living and pay a ton in taxes have become demonized,” he says in the accompanying interview, referring to himself and those like Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

The former Massachusetts governor has come under fire for the amount he pays in taxes. Between 2010 and 2011, Romney will pay $6.2 million in taxes on $42.5 million of income. Romney will pay an effective tax rate of 13.9% in 2010 and a 15.4% rate in 2011.

“I’ve been paying hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes over the last fourteen or fifteen years and then I have to have people point at me and say, ‘when are you going to start paying your fair share?’ My answer to your fair share query is I pay way more than my fair share and get the exact same service you get,” says the comedian who does not give any credence to effective tax rates. Bottom line for him is that he’s paid his fair share in dollar terms, as has Romney, and should not have to pay any more.

It is a valid point he made about voting, isn’t it?

CNN contributor Leigh McGowan is ‘exhausted’ with hearing stories about illegal immigrants committing crimes like killing American citizens.

he made the comment during a recent panel discussion on the network, when conservative contributor Brianna Lyman was trying to make a valid point about what the liberal media covers and chooses not to cover.

Lyman was using as an example, a woman in Massachusetts who was strangled by an illegal immigrant just last week. McGowan rolled her eyes in disgust at the mere mention of it.

A CNN panel erupted Tuesday after far-left podcast host Leigh McGowan called repeated discussions of Americans killed by illegal immigrants “exhausting” after a conservative panelist raised the strangling death of Massachusetts woman Brianna Connolly by an illegal immigrant.

The panel was discussing the death of Pierre Damas Bel, a 20-year-old Haitian-born college student in Ohio whose family said he died by suicide Monday after being required to wear an ankle monitor after losing his Temporary Protected Status. Ohio State Highway Patrol said Bel died after walking into traffic on Interstate 70 and that the incident remained under investigation.

“Well, temporary does mean temporary, so eventually this individual may have been ordered to be removed,” The Federalist reporter Brianna Lyman said on the “NewsNight” panel. “I think it’s kind of insulting that we’re talking about this immigrant instead of Brianna Connolly from Massachusetts who was strangled last week by an illegal alien. Why is the focus never…”

McGowan interrupted Lyman as she mentioned Connolly’s killing.

“Oh my God!” she said. “It’s so exhausting. Over and over again.”

Lyman immediately responded by contrasting McGowan’s frustration with the experiences of victims’ families.

Senator John Fetterman may be a Democrat, but he has also been one of the most vocal critics of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

During a recent appearance on FOX News, Fetterman dropped some serious truths about the DSA, saying that they are anti-American, but buried in his comments was a huge truth about these people that doesn’t get mentioned nearly enough.

Fetterman says, ‘they want to impoverish middle class whites’ and that is absolutely correct. Listen to any one of them talk long enough and they will eventually link capitalism to white supremacy.

It’s not true, but it is one of their favorite talking points.

During an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, Hannity went over the DSA’s agenda and how they want to “eliminate the Senate,” grant amnesty to illegal aliens, and abolish U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and prisons, among other things. Hannity went on to ask Fetterman if he agrees “with any part” of what he mentioned.

“Of course not. Like, the DSA, they’re deeply anti-American,” Fetterman said. “They’re deeply anti-capitalism. They’re deeply anti-the American way of life.”

Fetterman continued to point out that “when you look at the kind of individuals that are actually in the DSA,” they live in homes that their parents bought for millions of dollars.

“They want to impoverish middle class whites, and seize all the production,” Fetterman continued. “I would think every single Democrat should condemn the DSA. This is not like a big tent situation, they should have their own entire party, and run alone as the kinds of communists, and socialists, and anti-American party that they are.”
