Fires in houses of worship multiply.

We have been reporting on the multiple fires that have been destroying Christian churches all over Europe.

But not, in Ireland, these fires are starting to hit Muslim structures, too.

Today, a major fire at the Al-Madinah Prayer Hall in Dublin’s city center drew a large emergency response.

The Sun reported:

“Street scene with a large cloud of dust or smoke, a fire engine, and people. Roughly 20 firefighters attended the scene.

Gardai and emergency services attended the scene after being alerted by multiple calls around 3.40pm.

[…] A full evacuation of the premises took place and smoke was seen billowing from the building.”

RTE Ireland reported:

“Gardaí have begun a criminal investigation and are following a definite line of inquiry.

They do not believe the attack is linked to racist or far-right elements.

They are gathering CCTV footage, carrying out interviews and appealing to witnesses or anyone with information to contact them at Store Street Garda Station.”
