“Missing” Memory Card Flips Georgia House Race — Republican Candidate Surges from 58-Vote Deficit to 262-Vote Lead After Seminole County Discovers Uncounted Ballots
November 7, 2026

Another stunning election controversy has erupted in Georgia after officials discovered that a missing memory card containing hundreds of unreported Election Day votes had completely reversed the apparent outcome of a critical State House race.
Republican State Rep. Gerald Greene, who appeared headed for defeat against Democrat Harry James in Georgia’s House District 154, is now leading after election officials discovered that results from a memory card in Seminole County had never been uploaded, WCTV reported.
The reversal was extraordinary.
Greene had been trailing James by just 58 votes following Tuesday’s midterm elections.
But after the missing results were added, the Republican incumbent surged into the lead by 262 votes, a stunning 320-vote swing that could determine control of a crucial seat in the Georgia Legislature.
And the discovery was no minor bookkeeping error.
According to an official statement released Friday by RINO Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, election officials identified a discrepancy of approximately 388 voters who had checked in at polling locations but whose ballots were not reflected in the county’s reported vote totals.
How does an entire memory card containing hundreds of votes fail to make it into the election results in a race this close?
That is now the subject of an official state investigation.
“Georgia’s election safeguards are designed to identify discrepancies, and that is exactly what these guardrails did,” said Secretary Raffensperger.
“Our office identified a significant discrepancy, alerted county officials, and uncovered a failure to properly upload election results. This oversight didn’t just affect the numbers – it changed who was leading an election. That is unacceptable, and we intend to find out exactly how it happened.”
“Every vote matters, and in a close election, even a relatively small number of unreported ballots can change the outcome,” Raffensperger added.
County election officials have until Monday, November 9, to certify their results.
According to AJC, if the results hold, the dramatic reversal could save one of the most vulnerable Republican incumbents in the Georgia Legislature, leaving Democrats with just 92 seats in the 180-member House, barely above the 91-seat threshold needed to secure a majority.
The Gateway Pundit has reported extensively on previous election-counting irregularities in Georgia, including incidents involving memory cards and votes initially omitted from election totals.
During the 2020 presidential election recount, officials in Floyd County discovered approximately 2,600 votes that had not been included in the original count.
State officials initially attributed the problem to an election worker’s failure to upload a memory card.
In August 2022, The Gateway Pundit’s Brian Lupo reported on missing Election Day log files and conflicting accounts of what caused the Floyd County discrepancy.
