Voennoe Delo reported:
“SpaceX chief Elon Musk refused to meet Vladimir Zelensky during the Ukrainian leader’s visit to the United States, The Atlantic reported.
According to the publication, Zelensky had sought talks with the billionaire, but Musk declined the proposed meeting.”
Zelensky’s objective has become clear: he wants access to Starlink technology for missile guidance in strikes deep into Russian territory.
Unable to meet Musk, Zelensky reportedly asked Donald J. Trump to help secure Elon Musk’s permission to use Starlink technology.

Mr. Trump was ‘non-committal’ about the proposal but told the Ukrainian president that he would consider it, the outlet reported.”
Zelensky asked Trump to persuade Elon Musk to allow Starlink to be used for guiding Ukrainian drone strikes against ballistic missile launchers inside Russia.
Trump did not commit to making the request, leaving the proposal’s future uncertain.

“During his meeting with Mr. Trump, Mr. Zelensky said they needed Starlink to conduct strikes on smaller, mobile targets, such as missile launchers mounted on trucks positioned across Russia, The Atlantic said. These missile launchers have been used to strike Ukrainian cities.”
Trump has denied Ukraine more Patriot interceptor missiles, so giving Ukraine Starlink tech to strike within Russia was presented to Trump as ‘an alternative’.
But the US president wants to see the end of the Russia-Ukraine war, not a clever solution for Kiev’s strikes.
