SICKENING: 75-Year-Old Man Who Legally Changed His Name to ‘Santa Claus’ Busted in Louisiana Child Sex Predator Sting Operation

A 75-year-old man from New Orleans who legally changed his name to “Santa Claus” was one of 11 men arrested over the weekend in an undercover child sex predator sting conducted by the Kenner Police Department in Louisiana.

The operation targeted individuals using dating apps and online platforms to solicit sex from minors.

According to a report from the New York Post, the man, described as having a long white beard and a round physique resembling the holiday figure, used a dating app to contact what he believed was a 15-year-old boy.

Undercover detectives posed as the minor as he engaged in explicit conversations about sex acts and arranged to meet.

He was arrested without incident when he showed up at the location thinking he was meeting the teenager.

Kenner Police Chief Keith Conley said the man faces charges of indecent behavior with a juvenile and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.

Conley noted that the suspect has invited parents to let young children sit on his lap for photo opportunities.

“We preach daily about the vulnerability of our children on social media and gaming platforms, and now we have arrested a person who dresses up as Santa Claus, inviting parents to drop their young children in his lap for photo ops,” Conley stated. “This is a cautionary tale to parents and guardians.”

“Anyone who uses the anonymity of the internet to exploit children should understand one thing—we are there too. Our investigators will continue to identify these predators, build strong cases, and bring them to justice before they have the opportunity to victimize a child,” Conley added.

This marks the second recent case involving a man known as Santa Claus in child sex predator stings.

In April, as The Gateway Pundit previously reported, a popular 68-year-old man known as the “Polk County Santa” in Florida was arrested in a large undercover operation after attempting to pay $200 for sex acts with what he believed was a 13-year-old girl.

That man, Thomas Allen Hicks, had portrayed Santa at parades, events, and photo shoots with children for nearly a decade.
