False ally Merz has a big mouth, and now his government is trying to undo the damage.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz is a failing head of government with dismal poll numbers, leading a country with a stagnant economy and a fractured society.

In April, only 18% of German citizens are satisfied with Merz’s work – a record low number, while as much as 80% think he is doing a bad job.

But as a typical Globalist ‘leader’, he feels entitled to criticize actual world leaders and pontificate about what they should or should not do.

As we reported earlier here in TGP, Merz made an incredibly offensive comment about the US being ‘humiliated’ by Iran, and having no strategy.

But as we know, US President Donald J. Trump is not one to forgive or forget a slight or an offense.

Donald Trump criticizes German Chancellor Friedrich Merz's stance on Iran's nuclear weapons and discusses his actions regarding Iran and Germany's economic situation.

“The Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merz, thinks it’s OK for Iran to have a Nuclear Weapon. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about! If Iran had a Nuclear Weapon, the whole World would be held hostage. I am doing something with Iran, right now, that other Nations, or Presidents, should have done long ago. No wonder Germany is doing so poorly, both Economically, and otherwise! President DONALD J. TRUMP”

Reuters reported:

“Merz said on Monday that Iran’s leadership was humiliating the ‌United States and getting U.S. officials to travel to Pakistan and then leave without results, in an unusually pointed rebuke over the conflict.

Merz also said he did not see what exit strategy the U.S. was pursuing in the Iran war – comments that underlined deep divisions between Washington and its European NATO allies, which had already been festering over Ukraine and other issues.”

And after the repercussion of Merz’s criticism, the German government is trying to walk back the comments and undo the damage.
