President Trump is expected to sign two executive orders today on enforcing law and order and directing Homeland Security and the Justice Department to begin monitoring the Democrat-run sanctuary cities that harbor criminal illegal aliens. 

The President is scheduled to sign the orders at 5 pm ET.

Per Reuters, a White House Official said, “President Trump plans to sign an executive order on Monday escalating his battle against Democratic-led states and cities that don’t fully cooperate with federal immigration authorities.”

In a press briefing this morning, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also shared that the President will sign at least two executive orders, one to “strengthen and unleash America’s law enforcement to pursue criminals and protect innocent citizens,” and another “protecting American communities from criminal aliens.”

The sanctuary city order will ” direct the Attorney General and Secretary of Homeland Security to publish a list of state and local jurisdictions that obstruct the enforcement of federal immigration laws,” Leavitt said.

Hopefully, the sanctuary state and city leaders will be put on notice and prosecuted if they continue to violate federal laws, which prohibit them from harboring and concealing illegal aliens from ICE with their noncooperation. Border Czar Tom Homan and White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller have indicated to The Gateway Pundit that sanctuary jurisdictions are engaging in “systemic criminal violations” and that felony charges may be coming if they continue to defy federal law.

Leavitt further previewed this week’s upcoming events, marking the first 100 days of Trump’s return to the White House, including a press briefing with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Tuesday, President Trump’s rally in Michigan, and a Wednesday Cabinet meeting.

Tom Homan joined Leavitt in today’s briefing to discuss the Trump administration’s record-low border crossings and efforts to deport criminals from our interior.

Leavitt: As you know, this week marks the first 100 days of the Trump Presidency, and President Trump’s first 100 days have undoubtedly been the most monumental and historic of any administration in American history. President Trump has already delivered on hundreds of promises he made to the American people, and we will continue to talk about all of them throughout this week.

Tomorrow, I will host a press briefing at this same time, bright and early again, to highlight the Trump administration’s economic accomplishments with our Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessent. And tomorrow night, President Trump will travel to Michigan to discuss all that he has achieved on behalf of the American people. On Wednesday, the President will host an open press cabinet meeting, where each Cabinet member will discuss their success thus far and their plans for the future.

Today, we kick off 100 Day Week with a focus on the President’s historic effort to secure our southern border. The second EO is centered around protecting American communities from criminal aliens, and it will direct the Attorney General and Secretary of Homeland Security to publish a list of state and local jurisdictions that obstruct the enforcement of federal immigration laws. After these are signed, the President will have signed more than 140 executive orders already, rapidly approaching the total number signed by the Biden administration over the course of four years in office.

Speaking of Joe Biden, it was his awful open borders policies that recklessly allowed more than 10 million illegal aliens to invade the United States over the past four years. Innocent Americans like Laken Riley, Jocelyn Nungary, Rachel Morin, and so many others were viciously murdered at the hands of these illegal aliens as a result of Biden’s dereliction of duty.

Democrat Virginia Rep. Gerry Connolly, 75, on Monday morning announced he is retiring from Congress and will step down as the ranking member of the Oversight Committee due to a cancer diagnosis.

In November Connolly announced he was diagnosed with cancer of the esophagus.

On Monday Connolly said the “sun is setting” on his time in Congress because his cancer has returned.

The Hill noted that the Oversight ranking member seat must be filled within 30 days.

I want to begin by thanking you for your good wishes and compassion as I continue to tackle my diagnosis. Your outpouring of love and support has given me strength in my fights – both against cancer and in our collective defense of democracy.

When I announced my diagnosis six months ago, I promised transparency. After grueling treatments, we’ve learned that the cancer, while initially beaten back, has now returned. I’ll do everything possible to continue to represent you and thank you for your grace.

The sun is setting on my time in public service, and this will be my last term in Congress. I will be stepping back as Ranking Member of the Oversight Committee soon. With no rancor and a full heart, I move into this final chapter full of pride in what we’ve accomplished together over 30 years. My loving family and staff sustain me. My extended family – you all have been a joy to serve.

Bill Maher has repeatedly peddled a false talking point that researchers are not creating transgender animals for testing, and that President Donald Trump confused “transgenic” mice with “transgender.”

Maher’s latest lie about the issue came in an interview with Charlie Kirk, after the Turning Point USA founder mentioned how the transgender animal testing would “take your breath away.”

“I called that out on my show,” Maher interjected. “That was bullsh-t. It wasn’t ‘transgender.’”

Maher smugly continued, “See, that worries me about you, Charlie. You seem to have swallowed that one whole, like a snake does a mouse without looking into it. It was ‘transgenic’ mice. It’s hugely different.”

“He got it wrong,” Maher falsely said of Trump, “and no one was around to tell him he got it wrong.”

Maher first claimed the studies were actually on “transgenic” mice, not transgender, on his show in March.

Maher is actually the one who “got it wrong.”

Before President Donald Trump and the Department of Government Efficiency began slashing funds, $400 million in active grants were allocated in whole or in part to the study of transgender animal testing. These experiments ranged from surgically altering the gonads of rats to mimic sex-change procedures to force-feeding testosterone to adolescent mice.

The cruel and bizarre tests were exposed by the White Coat Waste Project, a watchdog organization that has worked for years to end taxpayer funding for this expensive, unnecessary, and painful research.

In one example, a $1,155,503 grant, uncovered by White Coat Waste and highlighted by The Gateway Pundit, gave $1,155,503 to the University of the Pacific to castrate male rats and inject them with estrogen, remove female rats’ ovaries and inject them with testosterone, and then overdose them with GHB to “evaluate the potential for altered toxicity/overdose risk in transgender men and women.”

“GHB toxicokinetics will be evaluated in OVX and castrated animals in the presence or absence of individual male and female sex hormones. Hormone replacement studies in the opposite sex (cross-sex hormone therapy) will evaluate the potential for altered toxicity/overdose risk in transgender men and women,” the grant description reads.

The grant was part of the National Institutes of Health’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) program.

The university boasted that the research “spotlights Pacific’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. The NIH SCORE Program is designed to increase the research support at institutions such as Pacific with a history of training and graduating students from groups underrepresented in the biomedical sciences.”

Over 500 animals were slated to have sex changes and ultimately be killed for this research.

Other now-defunct research included a $299,240 grant to create “transmasculine” lab animals by giving female mice testosterone and removing their ovaries and a $442,444 grant to sterilize animals, inject them with hormone therapies, and then inflict wounds to mimic transgender humans receiving gender-affirming surgeries.

Maher is an “honorary director” with PETA and has long claimed to be against animal research.

Just like PETA, he is willing to let animal abuse continue in order to attack President Trump.

Another PETA Lie: ‘Trump Did Nothing to Stop Animal Experimentation’

For years, PETA has publicly criticized President Trump, sided with his enemies, ignored his huge accomplishments for animals in labs, and tried to co-opt the efforts of more effective organizations — namely, White Coat Waste.

After the first Trump Administration made historic progress to end cruel animal tests, in November 2021, PETA tweeted, “Unfortunately, Trump did nothing to stop animal experimentation.” A blatant lie.

During Trump’s first term in 2018, WCW successfully pushed the FDA to end nicotine addiction tests on monkeys, retire the animals to a sanctuary, and establish an agency-wide lab animal retirement policy in 2020. The organization also played a key role in dramatically reducing the FDA’s in-house primate testing, culminating in the closure of its largest monkey lab in 2023.

President Trump also personally defunded the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the Fauci-funded animal lab that probably unleashed COVID.

This care for animals has continued under his second term, with the Trump administration phasing out animal testing at both the Food and Drug Administration and Environmental Protection Agency. They have also cancelled grants for many cruel research projects, saving taxpayers millions of dollars.

Two days after Russia announced that the last Ukrainian bastion in Kursk region had been overrun and the liberation was complete, it also acknowledged for the first time that North Korean troops fought alongside its troops in the defense of its territory.

North Korea also confirmed for the first time to have sent troops to fight for Russia under the orders of leader Kim Jong Un, making an important contribution to the liberation of Russian land previously occupied by Ukraine.

Reuters reported:

“The victorious end of the battle to liberate Russia’s Kursk region showed the ‘highest strategic level of the firm militant friendship’ between North Korea and Russia, KCNA state news agency cited the North’s ruling party as saying.”

“’Under the order of the head of state, the sub-units of the armed forces of the Republic regarded the territory of Russia as the one of their country and proved the firm alliance between the two countries’, KCNA cited the Commission as saying.

‘They who fought for justice are all heroes and representatives of the honor of the motherland’, KCNA quoted Kim as saying. North Korea ‘regards it as an honor to have an alliance with such a powerful state as the Russian Federation’, KCNA said.”

The mutual defense treaty was signed between Moscow and Pyongyang in June 2024 and requires both nations to provide immediate military assistance if either is attacked.

“The statement cited Kim as saying the deployment was meant to ‘annihilate and wipe out the Ukrainian neo-Nazi occupiers and liberate the Kursk area in cooperation with the Russian armed forces’.
