If you pay close attention to the news every day, you might have developed some kind of anxiety disorder. At minimum, you probably reach a point of exhaustion from time to time. We might call it “Outrage Fatigue.”

Thus, one craves stories that showcase people whose work spreads light amid relentless darkness.

For instance, earlier this month, Orlando Magic power forward Jonathan Isaac, who famously refused to kneel for the national anthem during the Black Lives Matter madness of 2020, appeared on the “Bold and Blunt” podcast with Cheryl Chumley of The Washington Times to discuss his Christian-themed apparel company, Unitus.

“There are visible Bible verses on the outside of the shoes and on a lot of the clothes,” Isaac said during the interview. “For me, what it represents is a touchpoint … that keeps me connected to Christ in my thoughts.”

Indeed, the Unitus website describes the company as “a faith-forward footwear and apparel brand designed to help believers stay connected to Christ.”

The basketball star announced his company’s signature shoe, the Judah 1, in November 2023.

“I can’t wait to lace ’em up,” Isaac said at the time in a promotional video posted to social media. “And I’ll be saying to myself 2nd Corinthians 4:9. It says, ‘Persecuted but not abandoned. Struck down but not destroyed.’ And I’ll walk on that court.”

Then, the power forward took his mission a step further.

In July 2024, for instance, Isaac helped distribute his basketball shoes to a group of fatherless boys. Clips posted to the social media platform Instagram showed the boys receiving their shoes and then looking up the accompanying Bible verses.

“I AM that I AM,” one smiling boy said as he read Exodus 3:14 after receiving a pair of the Judah 1 Exodus.

In other words, the Christian power forward has done tremendous good.

Isaac launched the company in 2023.

“When we do give our money to companies that don’t support our values, we’re cosigning their message,” he told Fox News in August 2023. “So, what I wanted to do was give Americans, freedom-loving Americans, faith-loving Americans the option to buy with their values.”

In many respects, Unitus represents part of a comeback story for Isaac.

During the COVID-shortened 2019-2020 NBA season, his third in the league, Isaac averaged 11.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 28.8 minutes played per game. Those who watched him that year will remember him as a rising young star.

Those statistics, however, remain his career highs, for a torn ACL cost him the next two seasons.

Since his return to the court in the 2022-23 season, he has functioned more as a role player than the rising star his early statistics suggested he might become. But that made little difference to Isaac, who praised God even for his misfortune.

“There were days where I was like, ‘I don’t know if I want to keep going,’” he said of his recovery process after playing in his first game back from injury in January 2023.

“But then again, I have to thank Christ,” he added. “Being able to go back to my faith and say God has me on this journey for a purpose. I know that I was made to play basketball. I was made to give glory to God on this stage.”

In short, any reader who, like me, occasionally grumbles about self-obsessed celebrities will undoubtedly welcome Isaac’s story as refreshing.

Better yet, do you have a basketball-playing youngster in your life? If so, help spread Isaac’s message. For their birthday, get them a pair of the Judah 1 Triumph. Or check out the other four styles of shoes.

After all, no modern competitor could fail to appreciate the verse “Persecuted but not abandoned. Struck down but not destroyed.”

Best of all, imagine an entire starting five, each sporting one of the five Judah 1 styles. Now that would qualify as good news.

Russia’s Medvedev Blasts Trump After Iranian Military Strikes – Says “A Number of Foreign Countries Ready to Directly Supply Iran with Nuclear Warheads”
June 22, 2025

Russian Deputy Chair of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev – X profile

On Saturday night the United States military under the direction of President Donald J. Trump bombed three nuclear facilities in Iran in Operation Midnight Hammer.

The US dropped 14 bunker busting bombs on Iran’s largest nuclear site in Fordow. It was the largest ever attack by B-2 stealth bombers by the United States. It was also the longest flight the bombers have made since 2001.

The US strike involved more than 125 US aircraft.

Following the historic attack on Iranian nuclear sites former Russian President wrote a long thread on X condemning the US military strike.

Medvedev says there are “a number of foreign countries” ready to supply the Iranian regime with nuclear weapons!

Here is what Medvedev published on X.

What have the Americans accomplished with their nighttime strikes on three nuclear sites in Iran?

1. Critical infrastructure of the nuclear fuel cycle appears to have been unaffected or sustained only minor damage.
2. The enrichment of nuclear material — and, now we can say it outright, the future production of nuclear weapons — will continue.
3. A number of countries are ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads.
4. Israel is under attack, explosions are rocking the country, and people are panicking.
5. The US is now entangled in a new conflict, with prospects of a ground operation looming on the horizon.
6. Iran’s political regime has survived — and in all likelihood, has come out even stronger.
7. The people are rallying around the country’s spiritual leadership, including those who were previously indifferent or opposed to it.
8. Donald Trump, once hailed as ‘president of peace,’ has now pushed the US into another war.
9. The vast majority of countries around the world oppose the actions of Israel and the United States.
10. At this rate, Trump can forget about the Nobel Peace Prize — not even with how rigged it has become. What a way to kick things off, Mr. President. Congratulations!

The next several weeks will be telling. Did President Trump bring peace to the Middle East? Will the war escalate into a regional or global conflict? Will there be retaliatory strikes, suicide bombings?

And what countries are so eager to supply Iran with nukes?

Medvedev is right about one thing. President Trump can likely forget about any Nobel Peace Prize.

JUST-IN: Nuclear-Armed Pakistan Condemns U.S. Iran Strikes After Recommending Trump for Nobel Peace Prize
June 22, 2025

President Trump speak on Iran strikes, joined by VP JD Vance, SOS Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth

The Government of Pakistan has condemned the United States’ strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, expressing fear of “possible further escalation of tensions in the region.”

Pakistan is estimated to have approximately 170 nuclear warheads in its arsenal and is not a member of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, an international agreement which aims to prevent the use of nuclear weapons. According to the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation, “Pakistan has not declared a No First Use policy.”

It is unclear if they would side with Iran in the case of an all-out war in the Middle East.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, U.S. forces executed “Operation Midnight Hammer,” destroying Iran’s Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan nuclear facilities. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs Chairman Dan Caine recapped the operation in a press conference this morning.

President Trump also delivered remarks hours after the attack, with a warning to Iran that “there will be either peace or there will be tragedy for Iran far greater than we have witnessed over the last eight days.”

Pakistan said in a statement that last night's strikes "violate all norms of international law and that Iran has the legitimate right to defend itself under the UN Charter."

"The unprecedented escalation of tension and violence, owing to ongoing aggression against Iran is deeply disturbing. Any further escalation of tensions will have severely damaging implications for the region and beyond," they said.

The UN Security Council will also meet on Sunday at Tehran's request after Iran's United Nations Mission sent a letter condemning the attacks.

Full statement from Pakistan:

Pakistan condemns the US attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities which follow the series of attacks by Israel. We are gravely concerned at the possible further escalation of tensions in the region.

We reiterate that these attacks violate all norms of international law and that Iran has the legitimate right to defend itself under the UN Charter.

The unprecedented escalation of tension and violence, owing to ongoing aggression against Iran is deeply disturbing. Any further escalation of tensions will have severely damaging implications for the region and beyond.

We emphasise the imperative need to respect civilian lives and properties and immediately bring the conflict to end. All parties must adhere to international law, particularly International Humanitarian Law.

Recourse to dialogue, diplomacy, in line with the principles and purposes of the UN Charter remain the only viable pathway to resolve the crises in the region.

This comes less than 48 hours after Pakistan announced they would formally recommend President Trump for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the Pakistani government cited the President's "diplomatic intervention and pivotal leadership during the recent India-Pakistan crisis" in their statement, suggesting that Trump deserves the Nobel.

"At a moment of heightened regional turbulence, President Trump demonstrated great strategic foresight and stellar statesmanship through robust diplomatic engagement with both Islamabad and New Delhi which de-escalated a rapidly deteriorating situation, ultimately securing a ceasefire and averting a broader conflict between the two nuclear states that would have had catastrophic consequences for millions of people in the region and beyond," Pakistan said in a statement.

"This intervention stands as a testament to his role as a genuine peacemaker and his commitment to conflict resolution through dialogue."

June 22, 2025

Obama sent cash to the world’s number one terrorist regime Iran, President Trump sent bombs.

This is a great point that Real Robert reminded us of last night on X.

Barack Obama sent Iran pallets of cash – $1.7 billion total, according to President Trump.  This cash transfer was reported by The Gateway Pundit at the time and again in early 2018 when President Trump called out Obama for his crimes.

On January 17, 2016, a cargo plane with $400 million in foreign currencies was secretly sent to Iran in the dead of night.

This was the same day the Iranian regime released four American hostages held in Tehran.

Barack Obama later told reporters this was not a ransom payment.

Obama lied.

Former US Iranian Hostage Saeed Abidini told FOX Business Network today the Iranian regime WOULD NOT let his plane leave Tehran until the ransom plane arrived.

US officials held the ransom cash until the hostages were released.

Two days after Obama sent Iran the ransom cash the US government wired 13 individual payments for $99,999,999.99 , each with an independent MICR, totaling $1,299,999,999.87.

Already the cash from Obama’s ransom payment to Iran has been traced to terrorist groups in the region.

On Sunday President Trump blasted Barack Obama for his $1.7 billion bribe to Iran.

Here was President Trump’s message in 2018:

Remember that in 2018 President Trump was under the cloud of the Mueller investigation accused wrongly for being a puppet of Russia.  President Trump endured years of this investigation based on lies from the Obama Administration and was found totally innocent.

However, Obama was never charged for any crimes nor was he investigated for illegally sending over a billion in cash to the world’s number one state sponsor of terrorism.  Was this sedition?

And…the Biden Administration was worse!  Biden essentially gave Iran over $10 billion in March 2024.

The Washington Free Beacon shared:

“The Biden administration on Wednesday reapproved a sanctions waiver that unlocks upwards of $10 billion in frozen funds for the Iranian government, according to a copy of the notice submitted to Congress late Wednesday and reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon.”

As President Trump shared in 2024 after Biden’s state of the Union speech, Biden “made Iran RICH. This is why we have the problems in the Middle East. With me, Iran was BROKE. He is the reason that the Middle East is blowing up!”

Where are the investigations?  Where are the indictments?
