70-year-old Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) posted a cringe video of himself on Wednesday performing an anti-President Donald Trump song based on the 1967 Jimi Hendrix classic, “Hey Joe.” Johnson’s version is cleverly titled, “Hey Trump.” Johnson introduced the video saying, “I hate to hurt your ears.”

Johnson’s guitar is out of tune, his singing tone deaf, and the redone lyrics are dumb, but so predictable.

The culture of death is taking hold of the United Kingdom.

A mere two days after the UK House of Commons voted to decriminalize late-term abortion ‘up to birth’, the Labour party of failing Prime Minister Keir Starmer has approved a bill legalizing assisted suicide.

Starmer was glad to vote for the bill, and – as proof of just how committed the UK has become to the culture of death – a good deal of Tories (including failed Globalist, former PM Rishi Sunak) and even Reform UK MPs also backed the bill.

The ‘Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill’ was approved in the House of Commons by 314 votes with 291 against, a majority of 23 (down from a majority of 55 in the last reading of the bill).

The Bill now goes to the House of Lords for further scrutiny, and if approved in the upper house it will ‘pave the way for assisted dying services to be introduced by the end of the decade’.

But there’s ongoing pushback from the right-thinking decent folk of Britain.

The Telegraph reported:

“Andrea Williams, chief executive of Christian Concern, said: ‘This should not be treated as a conscience issue. It is assisting a person to kill themselves. We need political parties and leaders to rise up who will speak clearly on this point and refuse to implement a state suicide service’ […] Ross Hendy, CEO of the charity, CARE, described the result as ‘a blow to human dignity and people whose legitimate fears have been dismissed as irrelevant’.”

Some Labour MPs, such as Starmer’s Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick, were a ‘no’ vote.

UK Reform’s Nigel Farage and Tory’s Kemi Badenoch have opposed the bill, but so far have been silent on the issue, preferring to pluck the low-hanging fruit of criticizing pro-Palestinian activists who threw paint on RAF planes.

“Gordon Macdonald, chief executive of Care Not Killing said: ‘This is a deeply flawed and dangerous Bill that since November has been made considerably worse with important safeguards watered down or scrapped. […] The current Bill fails to protect vulnerable and disabled people from coercion.’”

Now, many opponents of the bill, such as Telegraph’s Tom Harris, say that ‘it is time for the House of Lords to come to the rescue’.

“The Royal College of Psychiatrists have said that many of its key concerns about the Bill ‘remain unsolved’ after the legislation passed today.”

And look how ‘lovely’: Labour MP arrested on suspicion of rape and child sex offences was allowed to cast a proxy vote: even though Dan Norris was suspended by the party, was allowed to vote in favor of the assisted dying Bill today. How fitting.

Topline: Fraudsters stole an estimated $79 billion from the federal government using fake Social Security numbers during the Covid-19 pandemic. The crime was “readily preventable,” but federal agencies had no system in place to check if the Social Security numbers were legitimate, according to a June 4 fraud alert from the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee.

Key facts: The audit reviewed three Covid-19 assistance programs — unemployment insurance, the Paycheck Protection Program and Economic Injury Disaster Loans — and estimated that up to 1.5 million applicants had Social Security numbers that were either fake or stolen.

Auditors arrived at their estimate using an “analytics platform” provided by Congress with data from the Social Security Administration. That raises an obvious question: why is the government first verifying applicants’ Social Security numbers now, instead of before the fraudulent loans were handed out?

Common sense would dictate that federal agencies should have access to Social Security data to verify taxpayers’ identity. But, according to the fraud alert, there is too much red tape in the way.

“The process to implement new Social Security Number verification agreements among agencies and address legal questions regarding the permissibility of information-sharing can be lengthy,” auditors wrote.

“Prior to the next natural disaster, health crisis, financial failure, or other emergency, it is vital for program administrators to establish SSN verification agreements in a timely manner so that an information exchange can be set up as a part of program integrity controls to prevent fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement and protect taxpayer funds from improper payments, as Congress intends in creating such emergency relief programs.”

Applicants for Paycheck Protection Program loans were not even required to list their date of birth. If they were, the auditors said they likely would have been able to find even more than $79 billion of fraud.

Background: Federal agencies are not the only ones missing vital information from the Social Security Administration. OpenTheBooks recently filed a Freedom of Information Request for a list of Social Security payments broken down by age bracket, in an attempt to verify President Trump’s claim that there are people getting checks who were born in the 1600’s.

Our auditors were told that no records exist. Either the Social Security Administration is hiding the information, or there genuinely is no one keeping track of payments by age group. Either way, something is amiss.

Summary: The federal government has access to a list of every American’s Social Security number. There is no reason not to use that list to prevent billions of dollars of fraud.

A Maryland woman got violent with a local reporter outside a Frederick courthouse earlier this week for daring to ask about her alleged activities involving homes occupied by squatters.

As WBFF reported, Kaniya Washington has used an Instagram account called nayomisavage to feature several advertisements for weeks, including a video tour of homes that are allegedly occupied by squatters.

And she allegedly collects money for helping squatters take over other people’s homes.

“She’s advertising squatter homes,” one female, who said she was connected to a Northwest Baltimore City home by Washington, told WBFF. “She does this for a certain fee, and she’ll move you into somebody’s property that’s not yours, which is about my case.”

Spotlight on Maryland viewed a video posted on Washington’s social media account of an inside tour of what the property management company said was taken from inside the home. The management company said they never authorized Washington or others to gain access to the property and notified the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) of an unlawful entry.

BPD said that the occupation of the Northwest Baltimore home was a civil matter since a lease was provided.

On May 10, Spotlight on Maryland contacted the Instagram account that was advertising “last resort” or “squatter homes” to inquire about its content. Spotlight on Maryland asked the account about its frequent posting of videos and advertisements, including ones that showed the inside of a property claimed by a management company to have an unauthorized occupant living there.

WBFF also obtained a leasing agreement between a man and woman occupying a Windsor Mill house and Washington.

Mike Haskell, who actually owns property, revealed that the family took over the home without authorization. According to WBFF, Haskell discovered the squatters after potential buyers noticed a suspicious moving truck in the driveway.

Haskell stopped the sale of the home by paying the family $3,000 to vacate in a “cash for keys” deal.

An investigative journalist from WBFF attempted to interview Washington at Frederick County District Court on Tuesday to give her a chance to respond to the allegations. Washington was there on unrelated traffic charges.

She immediately snapped at the intrepid reporter.

“Following me to court is CRAZY!” Washington said the reporter tried to conduct the interview.

“Do y’all see that?” She added. “Get away from me before I pluck you! I’m not playing!”

The reporter continued to do his job, which only made Washington angrier.

“Get out of my face!” she shouted while hitting the reporter’s hand with a closed fist.

Things got even worse when the reporter refused to yield to Washington. After yelling “Get out of my face!” several more times, she eventually grabbed and busted the reporter’s microphone and stormed off.

Former New York governor – and current NYC Mayoral front-runner – Andrew Cuomo is publicly calling for procedures that would place ICE agents at risk of being doxxed, potentially putting their lives, and families, in danger.

Cuomo shared a statement demanding that ICE agents unmask themselves to make it easier for them to be identified by potentially violent protestors.

“ICE Agents should not be allowed to hide behind anonymity. They must be required to identify themselves. Let’s be clear: ICE does not run this city. They cannot violate fundamental rights, and they cannot operate with impunity free from accountability,” Cuomo said.

“What we saw yesterday with the detainment of the city comptroller was a demonstration of the flagrant abuse of power currently taking place under the Trump administration, and it happened — in part — because we have a mayor who has turned a blind eye and handed President Trump the keys to New York City.”

He confinued, “If ICE is willing to do this to a sitting elected official with security and staff and in full view of the media, imagine the violations they’re willing to commit when there is no one documenting their actions and when there’s no one present to stand up. Think of the families—the innocent children—who are being subjected to ICE’s thuggery. This is not justice. This is not law enforcement. This is a blatant abuse of power.”

“New York City deserves a mayor who will fight for its people and who will demand respect for the law and for individual rights. I’ve lived through this before with President Trump and the ICE tactics that he not only condones, but mandates.”

Cuomo concluded, “In New York City, we fight for what is right. We stand for what is just. Federal ICE Agents in New York must unmask and identify themselves immediately.”

Cuomo reinforced his dangerous suggestion in a video on X saying, “Take off the mask.  If you’re not embarassed by what you’re doing, show us who you are.”

Last month House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) sent a resubmitted criminal referral to Attorney General Pam Bondi, demanding the Department of Justice pursue charges against disgraced former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo for lying under oath during pandemic-era investigations.

The letter, addressed directly to AG Pam Bondi, accused Cuomo of violating 18 U.S.C. §1001, a federal statute prohibiting false statements to Congress.
