It’s been a rough ride for failing Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.

Mired by repeated corruption scandals in his Socialist party, Sánchez had to apologize to citizens for the alleged criminal activity inside his government, all the while trying not to call for early elections.

But one would think he doesn’t have enough problems yet, since now the Spaniard has thrown a spanner in the works of the next NATO summit.

The Telegraph reported:

“Spain has rejected Donald Trump’s ‘unreasonable’ demand that Nato members increase defense spending, throwing plans for a summit of alliance leaders into disarray.

Next week’s meeting in the Hague has been carefully designed to convince the US president to continue supporting Europe’s defense. However, the refusal by Pedro Sánchez, the prime minister of Spain, to commit to a new defense spending target of 5 per cent of GDP has jeopardized the carefully choreographed diplomacy.”

Trump has floated withdrawing US protection from allies which don’t commit to the new target, but Sánchez is asking for Spain to be exempt from any spending target.

“The letter from Europe’s most influential Left-wing leader is a blow for [NATO Secretary General Mark] Rutte and could embolden the few other members reluctant to sign up to the 5 per cent.”

The leftist leader argues that the spending target would mean raising taxes on the middle class and cutting ‘Net Zero’ nonsense spending.

In 2024, Spain spent just 1.28 per cent of GDP on defense.

Conservative champion, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán implements his nationalistic, pro-family agenda despite the uproar in the Liberal-Globalist European establishment.

“Now, emboldened by the historic return of his long-time ally Donald J. Trump and by the growing surge of right-wingers and populists in the continent, Orbán is unleashing his policies ever more strongly, to the absolute dismay of the USAID-media.

Yesterday, it arose that this year’s edition of Hungary’s ‘Budapest Gay Pride’ will have to be held in a ‘closed venue’ rather than parading along central Budapest as it previously did.

According to Orban’s Chief of Staff, the measure will be undertaken to better implement child protection.”

Orbán’s Fidesz party approved the legislation, but, of course, there is pushback from the liberal pockets in Hungarian society that are cheered on by the MSM.

So, while police have banned the annual Budapest ‘Pride march’ in late June, the liberal Mayor Gergely Karacsony is defiant.

BBC reported:

“’Budapest city hall will organize the Budapest Pride march as a local event on 28 June, Period’, vowed the mayor.

It’s the latest twist in a cat-and-mouse confrontation which pits nationalist Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s Fidesz government, backed by the city police, against Hungary’s LGBTQ community and its supporters, with some legal backing from the courts”

Karacsony invented a ‘Day of Freedom’ organized by the Budapest city council to cover for the ‘Pride march’, and insists that ‘it does not come under the rules on freedom of assembly’.

“’They might as well try to ban a procession of unicorns’, the mayor wrote on Facebook.

Under the new law on gatherings, passed in March, all those identified by the police as participants using facial recognition software could be fined between £14 and £420.”

Explosions were heard at the Imam Hussein University in Tehran.

President Trump on Thursday raged as Americans were forced to take a federal holiday for Juneteenth thanks to Joe Biden.

“Too many non-working holidays in America. It is costing our Country $BILLIONS OF DOLLARS to keep all of these businesses closed. The workers don’t want it either! “In 2021, President Biden signed bipartisan legislation establishing Juneteenth as the nation’s newest Federal holiday, so that all Americans can feel the power of this day, learn from our history, celebrate our progress, and recognize and engage in the work that continues,” the Biden White House previously boasted.

Joe Biden made Juneteenth a federal holiday because it is the only instance in 100 years when racist Democrats were not persecuting or killing blacks.

Joe Biden, a lifelong racist, signed a law making Juneteenth a federal holiday in 2021.

No one knew what Juneteenth was until recently.

Barack Obama never tweeted about Juneteenth and he never gave a speech about the event.

Just one year before making it a federal holiday, Joe Biden had no clue what Juneteenth was and he actually confused it with the Tulsa Massacre.
