CHAOS IN DC! Radical Leftists Threaten and Harass Enrique Tarrio Outside Alleged Pipe Bomber Brian Cole’s DC Hearing (VIDEO)

Radical ignorant leftists harassed and shouted down former Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio during his press conference outside the hearing for alleged pipe bomber Brian Cole in Washington, DC.

Tarrio held the press conference outside the E. Barrett Prettyman United States Courthouse in Washington, D.C., ahead of Cole’s scheduled status hearing.

But the event quickly became contentious.

Video captured by The Gateway Pundit shows a protester carrying a hand-painted “J6 LOSER” sign moving into the gathering as Tarrio and supporters stood outside the courthouse.

It did not take long before Tarrio and the protester were engaged in a heated, face-to-face confrontation as cameras surrounded the two men.

The protester continued displaying his anti-J6 sign while Tarrio fired back during the tense exchange.

The confrontation unfolded as Tarrio publicly threw his support behind Brian Cole Jr., the Virginia man federal prosecutors accuse of planting two pipe bombs near the Republican National Committee and Democratic National Committee headquarters on January 5, 2021.

The Justice Department announced in January that Cole had been federally indicted on charges of interstate transportation of explosives and malicious attempt to use explosives. Prosecutors allege Cole transported two devices described as pipe bombs into Washington and intended to use them to intimidate individuals and damage the RNC and DNC headquarters. Cole has pleaded not guilty.

Neither device detonated, according to the Justice Department, and authorities rendered both devices safe after they were discovered on January 6. Read the Justice Department’s announcement here.

As The Gateway Pundit’s Cara Castronuova reported Wednesday, Tarrio announced that he would appear at the Prettyman Courthouse to demand Cole’s release and the dismissal of the charges against him.

Tarrio said ahead of the event that Cole should not be sitting behind bars and urged supporters to come to the courthouse ahead of Thursday’s hearing. The press conference was scheduled for 1 p.m., one hour before Cole’s 2 p.m. status conference.

The Gateway Pundit has also previously reported on questions raised by Cole’s supporters about the government’s case. In July, TGP’s Alicia Powe reported from one of Cole’s court appearances and detailed claims from outside investigators and supporters who dispute whether Cole matches the individual captured in surveillance footage. Those remain disputed claims as Cole’s criminal case proceeds.
