White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt gave reporters a message from the President on Thursday regarding his plans for the Israel-Iran war.

She read a message directly from the President, where he highlighted the “substantial chance of negotiations” and said he will make the decision “to go within the next two weeks,” which would seemingly mean attacking Iran and ending their nuclear capabilities.

Trump’s voters remain split on support for negotiating an end to the war or intervening with military force. Leavitt told supporters of the President on Thursday to “trust in President Trump” and highlighted his record of keeping America and the world safe during his first term.

Regarding the ongoing situation in Iran, I know there has been a lot of speculation amongst all of you in the media regarding the president’s decision making and whether or not the United States will be directly involved. In light of that news, I have a message directly from the President, and I quote:

“Based on the fact that there is a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks.”

That’s a quote directly from the President for all of you today.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the president also said on Wednesday, “I’ve had it. I give up. No more. Then we go blow up all the military, you know, all the nuclear stuff that’s all over the place there.”

“The next week is going to be very big,” he added.

After US President Donald J. Trump left the G7 meeting in Canada early and ditched his meeting with Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky in the process, the world could see clearly what was widely suspected: the Kiev regime leader will have much less access to Trump, and the military support for his war effort is now all but over.

Now, the next ‘golden opportunity’ for Zelensky to try to meet with Trump would be next week’s 2025 NATO Summit in The Hague (Netherlands). The event is scheduled for June 24–25.

But several reports, notably by UK’s The Times (behind a paywall), suggest that the Summit has been ‘tailored to accommodate Trump’s preferences’, including a shortened duration of about two and a half hours and a concise one-page communiqué.

Also, while Zelensky has been invited to the summit, his participation has been deliberately limited to avoid ‘awkward meetings’ with Trump.

He is not expected to be included in key working events or the main opening dinner, and interactions with Trump are being restricted ‘due to the risk of a public dispute’.

Also, the summit’s communiqué will likely avoid mentioning ‘Ukraine’s irreversible path to NATO membership’.

So, now, it’s been reported – with the usual ‘off-the-record’ Kiev sources – that the man Trump once branded as ‘a dictator without elections’ may not even go to the event.

The Guardian reported:

“Some Ukrainian officials said they were not sure now if it will be worth Zelenskyy attending the Nato summit in The Hague next week since there was no guarantee that Trump would attend.”

Kyiv Independent reported:

“Some in Kyiv are unsure if Zelensky’s presence at the June 24-25 summit would be worthwhile without a confirmed meeting with Trump, whom they had hoped to engage directly in efforts to pressure Russian President Vladimir Putin into accepting a ceasefire.

{…} One official told the Guardian that Ukraine is in a ‘permanent hazard’ of becoming a victim of ‘Trump’s short attention span’, adding that Russia has exploited this uncertainty by fresh aerial attacks. The source added that there had been ‘all sorts of promises for this summit’, including U.S. arms.”

President Trump’s Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against Democrat Governor Andy Beshear and Kentucky state education officials for providing in-state college tuition to illegal aliens—while making out-of-state U.S. citizens pay full price.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, targets Beshear, Education Commissioner Robbie Fletcher, and the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) for violating federal law and the U.S. Constitution’s Supremacy Clause.

At the center of the controversy is a Kentucky regulation—13 Ky. Admin. Regs. 2:045 § 8(4)(a)—which allows illegal immigrants who graduate from Kentucky high schools to receive dramatically discounted in-state tuition, even as American citizens from neighboring states are forced to pay much higher rates.

“No state can be allowed to treat Americans like second-class citizens in their own country by offering financial benefits to illegal aliens,” said Attorney General Pamela Bondi.

“The Department of Justice just won on this exact issue in Texas, and we look forward to fighting in Kentucky to protect the rights of American citizens.”

The DOJ’s complaint points out that federal law, specifically 8 U.S.C. § 1623(a), explicitly prohibits states from granting in-state tuition to illegal aliens unless all U.S. citizens—regardless of residency—are given the same benefit. Kentucky’s law does the exact opposite, creating a two-tiered system that punishes Americans while rewarding lawbreakers.

To make matters worse, Kentucky never passed a state law affirmatively approving this benefit for illegal aliens—another violation of federal law under 8 U.S.C. § 1621(d). Instead, the benefit was granted through bureaucratic regulation, bypassing the legislative process entirely.

The lawsuit also cites recent Trump Executive Orders aimed at ending taxpayer subsidization of illegal immigration. Executive Order 14218, signed in February 2025, mandates that no taxpayer-funded benefits be given to unqualified aliens.

And EO 14287 makes clear: any law that gives better treatment to illegal aliens than to American citizens is unlawful and unenforceable.

Today’s briefing comes one week after Israel launched an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities, leading to retaliatory attacks from Iran.

As President Trump reportedly weighs involving the U.S. in the war, beyond funding and providing weapons to Israel, the President’s voters remain split on the issue.

Trump’s voters rejected neocon warmongers like Nikki Haley in the primary elections, and they voted for Trump’s agenda to end Biden-era wars in the general election.

Still, Trump told reporters on Wednesday that his supporters are “in love with me,” and he appears poised to order military action against Iran.
