Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) has formally called on Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate and revoke the U.S. citizenship of radical socialist and NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, citing credible concerns that he may have obtained citizenship under false pretenses — including sympathies for convicted terrorists.

“Zohran ‘little muhammad’ Mamdani is an antisemitic, socialist, communist who will destroy the great City of New York,” Rep. Ogles wrote on X.

“He needs to be DEPORTED. Which is why I am calling for him to be subject to denaturalization proceedings.”

According to the letter sent by Ogles to the Department of Justice, Mamdani openly expressed solidarity with the Holy Land Foundation Five — a group convicted in 2008 for funneling millions to Hamas, a U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organization responsible for countless civilian deaths.

That public support for convicted terrorists — voiced before Mamdani became a U.S. citizen — may constitute a willful misrepresentation or concealment of terrorist sympathies during his naturalization process, Ogles argues.

The Tennessee Congressman didn’t stop there. He slammed Mamdani for his refusal to denounce the pro-terrorist slogan “Globalize the Intifada,” a radical chant used in recent leftist street protests calling for violent uprisings worldwide — including on U.S. soil.

“I write to request that the Department of Justice open an investigation into whether Zohran Kwame Mamdani, currently a candidate for Mayor of New York City, should be subject to denaturalization proceedings under 8 U.S.C. § 1451(a) on the grounds that he may have procured U.S. citizenship through willful misrepresentation or concealment of material support for terrorism.

According to public reports, including a June 21, 2025 New York Post article, Mr. Mamdani expressed open solidarity with individuals convicted of terrorism-related offenses prior to becoming a U.S. citizen.’ Specifically, he rapped: “Free the Holy Land Five / My guys.”

The Holy Land Foundation was convicted in 2008 for providing material support to Hamas, a designated foreign terrorist organization. Publicly praising the Foundation’s convicted leadership as “my guys” raises serious concerns about whether Mr. Mamdani held affiliations or sympathies he failed to disclose during the naturalization process.

While I understand that some may raise First Amendment concerns about taking legal action based on expressive conduct, such as rap lyrics, speech alone does not preclude accountability where it reasonably suggests underlying conduct relevant to eligibility for naturalization.

If an individual publicly glorifies a group convicted of financing terrorism, it is entirely appropriate for federal authorities to inquire whether that individual engaged in non-public forms of support such as organizational affiliation, fundraising, or advocacy-that would have required disclosure on Form N-400 or during a naturalization interview.

Moreover, Mr. Mamdani has recently refused opportunities to reject the pro-terrorist rallying cry to “globalize the intifada” — a call to expand violent attacks on civilians to the United States and around the world. While political speech in isolation is not dispositive, in light of earlier expressions of admiration for individuals convicted of supporting terrorism, a troubling pattern emerges that warrants formal scrutiny.

The naturalization process depends on the good-faith disclosure of any affiliation with, or support for, groups that threaten U.S. national security. If Mr. Mamdani concealed relevant associations, that concealment may constitute a material misrepresentation sufficient to support denaturalization under federal law.

The federal government must uphold public trust by ensuring that citizenship is not granted under false pretenses. I respectfully urge the Department of Justice to determine whether Mr.

Mamdani’s conduct prior to naturalization warrants formal review under applicable law.”

“Kick Around and Find Out.” That’s the message from Customs and Border Patrol after an Egyptian man kicked a CBP dog named Freddie so hard it went airborne after the dog sniffed out over one hundred pounds of contraband food in his luggage when he flew into Dulles Airport in Northern Virginia on Tuesday.

The Egyptian man was arrested, charged, pled guilty, sentenced to time served and deported in a few days, getting on a plane back to Egypt on Thursday. He was ordered by a federal judge in Alexandria, Virginia to pay the veterinarian bill for treatment of Freddie’s bruised ribs.

CBP statement:

An Egyptian man pled guilty to federal charges Wednesday after kicking a U.S. Customs and Border Protection agriculture detector dog that alerted to undeclared agriculture products in his baggage at Washington Dulles International Airport on Tuesday.

Hamed Ramadan Bayoumy Aly Marie, 70 years old, pled guilty during an initial appearance in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia to harming animals used in law enforcement (18USC1368). He was credited with time served, ordered to pay the veterinarian’s fee, and to immediately report to CBP for removal from the United States. Marie departed the United States on a flight to Egypt at 12:30 p.m. today.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia prosecuted Marie.

CBP agriculture detector dog Freddie, a five-year-old beagle, and his handler were inspecting baggage from travelers who arrived from Cairo, Egypt when Freddie alerted to one of Marie’s suitcases. As the CBP canine handler started questioning Marie, he violently kicked Freddie with sufficient force to lift the 25-pound beagle off the ground.

CBP officers immediately descended upon Marie, handcuffed him, and turned him over to Homeland Security Investigations agents for prosecution.

A veterinarian determined that Freddie suffered contusions to his right forward rib area.

CBP agriculture specialists conducted a subsequent baggage examination of Marie’s luggage based on Freddie’s alert and discovered 55 pounds of beef meat, 44 pounds of rice, 15 pounds of eggplant, cucumbers, and bell peppers, two pounds of corn seeds, and a pound of herbs. All agriculture products were prohibited from entering the United States and seized.

“Being caught deliberately smuggling well over one hundred pounds of undeclared and prohibited agriculture products does not give one permission to violently assault a defenseless Customs and Border Protection beagle,” said Christine Waugh, CBP’s Area Port Director for the Area Port of Washington, D.C. “We rely heavily on our K9 partners and Freddie was just doing his job. Any malicious attack on one of us is an attack on all of us, and CBP will continue to work with our investigating and prosecuting partners to deal swift and severe justice to perpetrators.”

Border Czar Tom Homan sends a strong and clear message to Zohran Mamdani

The radical left continues its descent into lawlessness, cloaked in the language of compassion. In New York, Democratic primary winner Zohran Mamdani —a self-described socialist— ran on a platform that includes removing ICE from the city, labeling it “fascist.” His rhetoric mirrors that of open-borders extremists who seek to dismantle the rule of law in the name of progress.

Tom Homan, former ICE director and current border advisor to President Trump, didn’t stay silent. His response to Mamdani was clear and unwavering: “Good luck with that.” Homan reminded everyone that federal law overrides local jurisdictions. No city councilman or sanctuary mayor has the authority to block federal immigration enforcement —and ICE will continue to operate in New York with even greater intensity.

According to Homan, President Trump has made it clear: sanctuary cities will face increased federal enforcement. If ICE is blocked from making arrests in local jails, teams will be deployed to the streets to find those criminals. But it doesn’t stop there. ICE will also track down others released by sanctuary jurisdictions and refocus operations where law and order are being undermined.

New York, once a beacon of law and culture, has become a breeding ground for unchecked illegal immigration. Unlike Florida, where local sheriffs cooperate with ICE, New York officials release dangerous individuals back into the community. Homan’s solution? Double and triple enforcement in the Big Apple —more agents, more neighborhood patrols, and a tenfold increase in workplace enforcement.

Because if a criminal can’t be arrested in jail, ICE will find them at home. And if not at home, then at work. “Game on. We’re coming for you,” said Homan. It wasn’t a threat. It was a promise —to enforce the law and protect American citizens.

This standoff reflects the core contrast between two visions of America: one where law and order prevail, and another where progressive chaos erodes the foundations of the nation. While Mamdani dreams of a borderless, lawless utopia, patriots like Homan and Trump know that without borders, there is no country.

Border Czar Tom Homan put Republicans in Congress on notice at a White House One Big Beautiful Bill event on Thursday, demanding they pass the bill to help border patrol and ICE make the United States safer. 

“I get irritated. I get pissed off because I’m sick of meeting Angel moms and dads. You want to talk about family separation? They bury their children,” he told Republicans.

The President called Homan up to deliver remarks during his One Big Beautiful Bill event at the White House on Thursday, where he was joined by Administration officials, Members of Congress, conservative leaders, angel moms and dads, and everyday Americans who stand to benefit from the landmark One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

The event was intended to “rally Republicans to get the One Big Beautiful Bill across the finish line,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said earlier on Thursday.

President Trump has demanded Republicans send the bill to his desk so that he can fulfill his second-term agenda, including tax cuts and border security.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Leavitt told reporters earlier that she is confident Republicans will deliver by July 4, and she expects a bill signing ceremony for the Act “next week!”

Homan kicked off his speech on Thursday, asking, "What the hell is the matter with everybody up in Congress?" before highlighting the need for the border security provisions within the bill and highlighting the low number of deportation officers currently on staff. Currently, there is only one deportation officer for every 120+ illegal aliens with criminal records in the United States-- and that's only the ones who have been caught and prosecuted previously. "We've got over 600,000 illegal aliens with criminal histories walking the streets of this country. We’ve got less than 5000 deportation officers."

"This should be a no-brainer. The more resources we get, when we get this bill passed, we got more agents on the road, we buy more beds, we get more transportation flights," he said.

Highlighting the historic progress President Trump has made in delivering on "the most secure border in the history of this nation," with zero illegal border crossings last month, and fentanyl seizures down by 50%, Homan said he wasn't satisfied.

"We should have zero fentanyl coming into this country. We need money to help secure that border at a higher level, stop the fentanyl from coming in, stop the sex trafficking of women and children, stop the known and suspected terrorists coming across that border," he told the members of Congress who were present. "When you stop the violence against ICE officers, let's make this country safe again."

ICE is arresting three times as many criminals than the Biden administration did. We're taking public safety threats and national security threats off the street every single day, but we've got over 600,000 illegal aliens with criminal histories walking the streets of this country. More agents mean more bad guys arrested and taken off the streets of this country every single day. Every day we arrest a public safety threat or national security threat, this makes this country much safer. Who the hell would be against that? And I get irritated. I get pissed off because I'm sick of meeting Angel moms and dads. You want to talk about family separation? They bury their children. So, I've done this since 1984, I've worked for six different presidents. No one has had the success of the Trump administration. We’ve got the most secure border in the history of this nation today.

But we need more border wall. Border walls save lives. Women and children can't get over that wall, which means they go to a place where there's not a wall, and what's waiting on them? The men and women the Border Patrol who take care of these humanitarian needs and save their lives. We already got fentanyl seizures down half. Fentanyl seizures should be 100%. We should have zero fentanyl coming into this country. We need money to help secure that border at a higher level, stop the fentanyl from coming in, stop the sex trafficking of women and children, stop the known and suspected terrorists coming across that border.

Right now, I was looking at the stats today, ICE is arresting a record number of known and suspected terrorists in this country, along with the FBI. With more money, we can arrest more of these people and make this country safer. This is a nonpartisan issue. Let's make this country safe again. So, to the Democrats and the Republicans, and the independents, I don't care who you're from, pass the bill so we make this country safe. So, when you stop the violence against ICE officers, let's make this country safe again.

And without that bill, it's going to be a hard road. We got a lot of people to look for, a lot of people to rest, a lot of national security threats we know are in this country. We need to find them. We need more money to do that. We need more agents to do that. For God's sake, let's pass this bill and get this done.
