A far-left Democrat congressman on Wednesday launched one of the vilest attacks imaginable on one of the nation’s most prominent Jewish political figures for his remark on the New York City mayoral primary.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Assemblymember Zohran Mamdani, an all-out communist and follower of the Muslim faith, clinched the Democratic nomination for mayor of New York City Tuesday night. The 33-year-old Mamdani ran on an insane agenda calling for free universal child care, creating city-run grocery stores, rolling out free bus service, and freezing rents on rent-stabilized units.

Even more alarming, Mamdani has defended the anti-Semitic “Globalize the Intifada” slogan and vowed to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He has made this promise in a city with over 1 million Jews, the second-most in the world.

Trump senior advisor Stephen Miller weighed in on Mamdani’s victory, calling it a consequence of mass migration.

“NYC is the clearest warning yet of what happens when society fails to control migration,” the WH advisor wrote.

Rep. Mark Pocan (D-WI), one of the most left-wing members of Congress, responded by launching an unhinged attack on Miller for daring to bring up an inconvenient truth. When one takes into account Miller’s Jewish faith, it becomes apparent how truly sick the attack is.”

“Racist f**k. Go back to 1930s Germany,” Pocan stated.

Was he suggesting Miller would have been better getting thrown in a Nazi concentration camp and gassed to death?

The White House responded to this wicked smear with righteous anger.

“What an absolutely disgusting comment from a Congressman to a Jewish WH official,” White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly wrote on her professional X account. “Mark Pocan must apologize — not just to Stephen, but to his constituents — and then seek professional help.”

Kelly added on her personal X account that Pocan has a long history of anti-Semitism and repeated her call for him to seek help immediately.

CNN is backtracking after President Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth hit back hard against their fake news claims citing a dubious ‘intel assessment report’ on the US’s strike on Iranian nuclear sites.

Last Saturday evening President Trump announced that the US had dropped bombs on three nuclear sites in Iran.

Earlier this week CNN reported that, according to a leak, an early assessment from the Pentagon’s intelligence arm revealed Iran’s nuclear sites are ‘largely intact’ and the US strikes only set them back a few months.

The ‘top secret’ intel assessment of the Fordow plant was leaked to CNN, AP, and the New York Times.

Secretary Hegseth held a press conference on Thursday morning and absolutely torched the fake news media over their Iran leak lies.

Hegseth said the leaked intel report published by the fake news actually said it takes “weeks” to have a valid assessment.

Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani wants to open government-funded shops in New York City, selling food below market prices, paid for with tax dollars.

This isn’t “progressivism.” It’s straight-up communism.

The foreign-born communist with deep ties to terrorist organizations, Zohran Mamdani, just won the Democratic primary for mayor of New York City and is poised to unleash the most radical economic destruction ever attempted in an American metropolis. The 33-year-old Uganda-born assemblyman, who co-founded anti-Israel terror groups and refuses to condemn calls for violence against Jews, defeated former Governor Andrew Cuomo in a stunning upset. His victory should alarm every American as a warning sign of how far the Democratic Party has drifted toward communist economics and terrorist sympathies.

With his $10 billion tax-and-spend agenda designed to destroy free markets and his extensive connections to Hamas-supporting organizations, Mamdani’s potential election as mayor would hand control of America’s largest city to forces actively working to undermine both capitalism and national security.

Mamdani is proposing what economists have called “a war on prices”, a plan that would devastate New York’s economy through government takeovers of housing, retail, and labor markets. His platform includes city-owned grocery stores, rent freezes, fare-free buses, and a $30 minimum wage by 2030, all funded by a $10 billion tax hike on businesses and the wealthy. He is also calling for universal childcare for children under six and full government control of the housing sector.

Mamdani’s housing proposal calls for freezing rents for over 2 million tenants in rent-stabilized apartments for four years, while simultaneously raising the corporate tax rate to 11.5% and imposing a new 2% millionaire tax. The rent freeze would make it difficult for landlords to maintain their properties and would discourage investment, since no one wants to invest in an asset with frozen revenues. Rent control policies like these violate basic principles of market efficiency and have failed wherever implemented, leading to housing shortages, reduced new construction, and deterioration of existing units due to limited maintenance incentives.

Perhaps Mamdani’s most dangerous economic proposal is his plan to create a network of city-owned grocery stores that would “buy and sell at wholesale prices” and operate with the goal of “keeping prices low, not making a profit.” In practice, this means selling food below market rates, subsidized by tax dollars. The result would be higher taxes on working New Yorkers who choose to stay, while conservatives flee and freeloaders move in. Private grocery stores, unable to compete with subsidized pricing, would be forced to close—further increasing dependence on government-run shops and driving up city deficit spending.

History shows that every communist country attempting similar policies eventually limits access to government stores to only those who “qualify,” usually the poor, while the rest of the population pays for services they’re not allowed to use. To prevent black-market reselling or hoarding, the government would also have to restrict how much food each person can buy. Depending on how far Mamdani pushes this insanity, we could even see tip lines to report neighbors reselling goods, or maybe even turn in people who gained weight, since they’re clearly consuming more than their “fair share.”

John Catsimatidis, CEO of grocery chain Gristedes, one of the largest in the city, declared: “If the city of New York is going socialist, I will definitely close, or sell, or move or franchise the Gristedes locations.”

Mamdani’s radical agenda includes raising New York’s minimum wage to $30 per hour by 2030—nearly double the current rate, while funding his programs through an estimated $10 billion annual tax increase on businesses and wealthy residents. The combination of government-subsidized grocery stores, wage mandates, and rising costs will likely drive more businesses out of the city. Simultaneously, rent freezes will deter new investment and property development, reducing the inflow of capital. The result: shrinking tax revenue alongside soaring government spending.

Beyond economic destruction, Mamdani poses serious national security risks due to his extensive ties to anti-Israel extremist groups that threaten American interests and Jewish safety. His father, Mahmood Mamdani, a Marxist and Columbia University professor who teaches about colonialism, has promoted the “necessity of violence in anticolonial struggle” and spoke in solidarity at Columbia’s pro-Hamas encampment in April 2024.

Zohran Mamdani co-founded the anti-Israel campus group Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at Bowdoin College and is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), another group hostile to Israel. He has also raised funds for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), an organization long accused of infiltration by Palestinian terrorist groups. He is also an open supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israel.

Conservative commentator John Podhoretz called Mamdani “the ‘globalize the intifada’ candidate.” Mamdani’s own Facebook profile features a video of him standing in front of the Israeli Consulate in New York with members of Within Our Lifetime (WOL), a radical group that regularly calls for the abolition of Zionism, surrounded by signs reading, “There is only one solution: Intifada Revolution.”

With nearly one million Jews living in New York City, the largest Jewish population outside Israel, Mamdani’s ties to groups like SJP and WOL, both linked to antisemitic incidents and hate crimes, pose a direct threat to this community.

For the nation, he represents a clear and present danger: a convergence of communist economic collapse and national security threats that reflect both the failures of socialist ideology and the rising influence of pro-intifada, anti-American, terrorist-aligned sentiment within the Democratic Party.

Mamdani has won the Democratic primary, and given that the best candidate the Republicans could come up with was Curtis Sliwa, the founder of the Guardian Angels, Mamdani is now positioned to take control of the nation’s largest city this November.

You can call it ‘the Epstein curse’.

A demonstrably close association with late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein is like a bad smell that won’t go away – just ask disgraced Prince Andrew about it.

But the troubled royal was not the only high-profile individual running into trouble because of a friendship with Epstein and failed attempts to deny or minimize it.

Former Barclays CEO and JPMorgan top executive Jes Staley is ensnared in one such situation.

Staley was fined £1.8 million and banned for life from holding senior roles in the financial sector.

Back in 2023, the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) found that ‘he misled the regulator’ over the nature of his relationship with Epstein.

He challenged the ban and the fine at the Upper Tribunal in London, but it ruled that ‘there is overwhelming evidence’ that Staley had a ‘close relationship’ with Epstein.

“In a unanimous decision on Thursday, Upper Tribunal judge Tim Herrington and tribunal members Martin Fraenkel and Cathy Farquharson dismissed Mr. Staley’s challenge, but reduced the fine to £1,107,306.92. They said: ‘We regard the distinction between a close relationship which arises out of personal friendship and one that arises out of a professional relationship as being fallacious’.

They continued: ‘In our view, the evidence that Mr. Staley had a close relationship with Mr. Epstein is overwhelming and there was no evidence before us to suggest that many others had a relationship which was similar in nature to that we have found existed between Mr. Staley and Mr. Epstein.[…] In our view, there is no basis on which Mr. Staley could have drawn the conclusion that inclusion of the ‘no close relationship language’ was accurate’.”

When the FCA contacted Barclays regarding the association of Mr. Staley with Mr. Epstein, Staley misled the bank and the FCA in his reply.

“In a letter written to the FCA, approved by Mr. Staley, Barclays chairman Nigel Higgins said ‘Jes has confirmed to us that he did not have a close relationship with Mr. Epstein’ and that ‘Jes’ last contact with Mr. Epstein was well before he joined Barclays’ in 2015.”

The FCA found that Staley acted ‘recklessly and without integrity’, since he kept contact up to at least February 2017.

“The [FCA] barrister said emails showed Mr. Staley describing Epstein as like ‘family’ and one of his ‘deepest’ and ‘most cherished’ friends, and that between March 2016 and February 2017, Mr. Staley’s daughter, Alexa Staley, was used as an intermediary.”

“But in their 93-page ruling, Judge Herrington, Mr. Fraenkel and Ms. Farquharson said it was ‘not credible that Mr. Staley did not think that the letter would mislead’ the FCA. They continued that they ‘would have expected Mr. Staley to have been particularly careful’ in ensuring the letter was accurate, and that his breaches of FCA rules were ‘a serious failure of judgment’.”

The judges decided they should not interfere with the lifetime ban of Staley, adding that he showed ‘no remorse for his conduct’.

An unelected leftist bureaucrat who no one voted for is single-handedly gutting President Trump’s signature bill with the stroke of a pen, and calls for her termination are emerging. But the Senate Majority Leader is not willing to go that far.

On Thursday, Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough struck down several key features of Trump’s “Big, Beautiful bill,” including defunding of Medicaid for illegal aliens and defunding “gender-affirming care” under Medicaid and CHIP, citing the Byrd rule.

MacDonough also axed the Medicare Provider tax, which complicates the Senate GOP’s math on the spending cuts it needs to pass the legislation.

This is the second time MacDonough has removed key parts of Trump’s bill. As the Gateway Pundit reported, MacDonough over the weekend struck down several GOP provisions in the bill by applying the ‘Byrd Rule.’

Here are the four key items MacDonough rejected:

• The federal government defunding sanctuary cities
• Defunding the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (DOGE targeted this agency)
• The EPA’s effort to roll back Electric Vehicle mandates
• A proposal to restrict federal courts from issuing nationwide injunctions

MacDonough is a partisan hack who was appointed back in 2012 when Harry Reid ran the Senate. Why is she still in charge, considering Republicans control the Senate?

Fortunately, Republicans are under no obligation to abide by MacDonough’s activism because her opinion is merely advisory. For example, the Hill notes the Senate can hold a simple-majority vote on the floor to establish a new precedent to expand the scope of what is eligible under reconciliation.

The Senate GOP can also fire MacDonough and replace her with another parliamentarian with a simple majority vote. Given the Senate has 53 Republicans, they can afford to lose three, provided Vice President JD Vance is available to break the tie.

Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) is calling for the GOP to take this exact step.

The WOKE Senate Parliamentarian, who was appointed by Harry Reid and advised Al Gore, just STRUCK DOWN a provision BANNING illegals from stealing Medicaid from American citizens.

This is a perfect example of why Americans hate THE SWAMP.

But Senate Majority Leader John Thune has responded by rolling over.

“That (firing or overruling MacDonough) would not be a good outcome for getting a bill done,” Thune told the Washington Examiner.
