White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt will brief members of the media this afternoon for the first time since President Trump ordered strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities. 

President Trump returned to the United States on Wednesday after participating in the NATO Summit in The Hague, Netherlands.

During the summit, the President spoke and held bilateral meetings with multiple foreign leaders. Notably, Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for the first time since their explosive White House meeting in April.

Trump later signaled that he would be providing more Patriot missiles to assist Ukraine in their war with Russia.

The trip came after he negotiated a ceasefire between Israel and Iran in the aftermath of U.S. strikes on Iran. Still, both countries exchanged rockets immediately after the ceasefire was agreed to, sparking concern that the war would continue.

While departing the White House on Tuesday en route to NATO, the President spoke to the press about the ceasefire negotiations and slammed both countries for violating the agreement.

“We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f*ck they’re doing!” the President told reporters before boarding his flight to the Netherlands. “as soon as I get away from you, I’m going to see if I can stop it,” he said.

The ceasefire, although fragile, is holding, and Trump has reportedly said U.S. and Iranian officials will meet next week.

Leavitt is expected to discuss the potential U.S.-Iran meetings and last weekend's attack on Iran.

She will also likely be pressed by reporters on media reports that Iran’s nuclear sites are ‘largely intact’ and the U.S. strikes only set them back a few months.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, a ‘Top Secret’ Intelligence assessment about the strikes on Iranian nuclear sites was leaked to CNN, and CNN disclosed it on live TV on Tuesday. Leavitt told reporters on Wednesday that "the FBI is investigating the source of the leak and that the leaker "should go to jail."

The briefing is scheduled to begin at 1 pm ET.

There is perhaps no one more devoted to defending the whole edifice of the failed Globalist policies than the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

From ‘climate change’ hysteria to unchecked mass migration and constant pro-Ukraine war-mongering, von der Leyen has never seen a Globalist disastrous policy that she did not love.

And of course, the LGBT lobby is one of her most cherished ‘causes’ – so, in a sense, she was bound to clash yet again with the nationalist, conservative Hungarian government of Viktor Orbán.

He have been reporting here on TGP on the new Child Protection legislation approved and enacted by Orbán, and its effects on the LGBT scene,  as you can read in ‘Common Sense Matters’: Orbán’s Hungary Passes Constitutional Amendment Banning Public LGBT Events.

Orbán is the leader who once described the EU as ‘a contemporary parody of the Soviet Union’, and stated that ‘there Is Not Enough Money in the World To Force Us To Accept Mass Migration and To Put Our Children in the Hands of LGBTQ Activists’.

Associated Press reported back in April:

“The amendment, which required a two-thirds vote, passed along party lines with 140 votes for and 21 against. It was proposed by the ruling Fidesz-KDNP coalition led by populist Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

[…] The amendment declares that children’s rights to moral, physical and spiritual development supersede any right other than the right to life, including that to peacefully assemble. Hungary’s contentious ‘child protection’ legislation prohibits the ‘depiction or promotion’ of homosexuality to minors aged under 18.”

Hungary’s constitutional amendment is now law.

We’re protecting children’s development, affirming that a person is born either male or female, and standing firm against drugs and foreign interference.

Since then, the LGBT lobby is working double time to counter the Hungarian legislation. First, it was Budapest’s liberal mayor who said that the ‘Gay Pride Parade’ will happen.

And now, über Globalist von der Leyen steps over the line, and publicly inserts herself in the fight.

As you would expect, conservative champion Orbán rapidly took to social media with a polite but pointed response calling the commissioner out for interfering on Hungarian internal affairs, and also criticizing her incompetence in dealing with the manifold problems of the European Union.

Caitlin Clark is not playing tonight.  The GOAT of the WNBA is out. 

Caitlin Clark who many believe is the greatest player in WBNA history is not playing tonight.  Clark is out with a groin injury.

This is not surprising.  Clark has been battered around like a rag doll since entering the WNBA.

Clark is arguably the greatest player in NCAA women’s basketball history. As noted by The Gateway Pundit.

Clark came into the WNBA last year and shattered more records. Last season after all kinds of abuse, Clark still managed to shatter the record for the greatest production by a single player in WNBA history.  This is a measure of points scored along with points off of assists.  Clark is great.

Caitlin Clark has the single most greatest productive offensive season in WNBA History.

Her offensive load was second only to Luka Doncic in NBA last season.

However, Clark’s journey in the WNBA starting last season has been brutal. She’s been pummeled by players from other teams nearly every game. This took a toll on Clark.  She was out for 5 games earlier this season.

Earlier this month after returning to the Fever, Clark was again attacked by WNBA players and brutally bounced around like a pinball.

WNBA’s Caitlin Clark was assaulted numerous times yesterday on the court.

Marina Mabrey committed the most egregious of attacks against her.

Since then Clark has been in a slump from the 3-point line, hitting a career low 1 for 23 in the three games since being blasted onto the floor in early June.

The Gateway Pundit pointed this out.

Caitlin, the greatest shooter in women’s basketball history, is now 1 of 23 in 3-point shots in her last three games. That’s a 4% completion rate! What happened? She has NEVER suffered such a slump.

When Clark was out earlier this year for five games, viewership in the WNBA was half of what it was when she is playing.

We’ll see if this happens again.  It’s pretty clear Caitlin Clark’s fan base is tired of seeing her get beaten up by other players in the league.  The refs’ terrible calls and their allowing this to happen is also very frustrating.

It’s another sad day for the WNBA.

On August 19th, 2025, Shana Gaviola will face the liberal court of California. She has had a nearly decade-long battle with the state’s absurdity. Shana lives in the red, rural county of Clovis. Unfortunately, like so many red counties in the former great state, their school system and local government do not reflect what the citizens actually want.

Shana was busy raising her four children as a single mother. Her oldest son, Blake, whom she always suspected was gay, came out to her and his siblings at 13, and he wanted the family to refer to him as “Brianna.”

He told her that his psychologist at school, a psychologist she had NO idea he was seeing, told him that he is trans and he should have surgery. When Shana told her son absolutely NOT, he went on to say that he was also told by this psychologist that he could do the surgery without his mother’s consent. She was floored but could not affirm this behavior. Her youngest child was 3 years old at the time, and none of the children would understand. Shana didn’t even understand.

After some time, it felt to Shana that things had subsided, so she turned to a friend to help her and her son. What Shana never imagined was that this woman would become the epitome of a groomer and turn Shana and her family’s lives upside down.

Her son stayed with this woman, “Susan,” through the summer, and when Shana tried to get her son back, Susan, the woman who was her “friend,” told the police there was a restraining order filed against her. Once it was confirmed there was no restraining order, Shana was advised to put her son in a boarding school.

Shana found an out-of-state, wonderful boarding school. She enrolled her son and was able to get him into the school. Shortly after his arrival, the friend, Susan, paid Blake’s father to go and pick him up from the school and bring him back to California. Blake’s father had not been involved in his life, and Shana was the sole custodial parent.

This was four years ago and was the last time Shana spoke to her son.

When Shana’s story came to the attention of American Rights Alliance, they immediately wanted to help this family.

Shana will be in court on August 19th, fighting for the safety of her children and all the other children and parents who are going through similar circumstances.

Blake is now an adult, and he has not transitioned. He dresses like a boy and looks like a boy. Being Trans was something he clearly grew out of and was being manipulated and groomed for by the school, the psychologist, and a “Susan.”

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez is surrounded by corruption investigations, with some beginning in his own family, targeting his wife and brother.

But as a ‘good’ socialist, he is just brushing the scandals aside, posturing as a great leader at the NATO summit, where he refused to increase his country’s defense spending – the lowest in the military alliance.

Back home, Sánchez is still flexing, announcing that he intends to run for re-election in 2027, when his current term is set to end.

Reuters reported:

“Sanchez, a Socialist, heads a minority leftist coalition government embroiled in a series of scandals, which have led the opposition to demand his resignation.

‘Yes, I am determined to run in the next general election in 2027’, Sanchez told reporters after a question on whether he thought his government had the support of a majority of the population.”

Sanchez will not call new elections before the end of his term despite the scandals tarnishing his party.

“Police entered the party’s headquarters on Friday to copy the emails of Santos Cerdan, a close ally of Sanchez’s, who had resigned a week earlier after a police report on alleged kickbacks was released.

The Cerdan case was the latest and most serious of a series of scandals that have left Sanchez having to fend off calls from opponents for snap elections.”
