President Trump on Monday spoke to reporters in the Oval Office during a bilateral meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte to discuss Ukraine.

A reporter asked President Trump about the Biden autopen scandal after the New York Times confirmed Biden did not sign off on all pardons.

Joe Biden defended the use of an autopen in an interview with the New York Times.

The New York Times also reviewed some of the emails that the National Archives handed over to the Trump DOJ as part of their investigation into the autopen scandal.

The emails revealed that Biden’s staffers made decisions to sign the pardons with the autopen without directly hearing the orders from Joe Biden.

Joe Biden told the New York Times that he “orally granted all the pardons and commutations issued at the end of his term” and lashed out at President Trump as a “liar” for claiming the autopen was used without his authorization.

It was revealed that Joe Biden did not approve of each name for the pardons – AND after changes were made about the specific inmates, Biden did NOT sign off on the revised list. Rather, his aides just ran the final version through the autopen without Biden’s approval.

“Mr. Biden did not individually approve each name for the categorical pardons that applied to large numbers of people, he and aides confirmed. Rather, after extensive discussion of different possible criteria, he signed off on the standards he wanted to be used to determine which convicts would qualify for a reduction in sentence,” The New York Times reported.

“Even after Mr. Biden made that decision, one former aide said, the Bureau of Prisons kept providing additional information about specific inmates, resulting in small changes to the list. Rather than ask Mr. Biden to keep signing revised versions, his staff waited and then ran the final version through the autopen, which they saw as a routine procedure, the aide said,” according to The Times.

President Trump called the autopen scandal the biggest scandal we’ve had in 100 years.

“I guarantee [Biden] knew nothing about what he was signing,” Trump said.

Body camera footage released Monday showed police rescuing two toddlers locked in a hot car in Cobb County, Georgia.

The incident happened on June 4 around 1:00 p.m., when the temperature in the car was a sweltering 117 degrees Fahrenheit, according to WAGA-TV in Atlanta.

“I am standing outside of the Dick’s at Cumberland Mall and there are two children in a car by themselves — small kids crying,” a caller told police on the phone.

“The windows are cracked, but I don’t think that’s right. We just came out of Dick’s and I heard kids crying,” she said.

Footage showed a responding Cobb County policeman breaking the driver side window before removing a little boy and girl from the back seat of the car.

“It’s OK,” the officer said to the boy. “Oh, you’re hot.”

The children were locked in the car for about 40 minutes.

Nearly half an hour after rescuing the kids, the officers arrested J’quawn Dixon, who later stood charged with second-degree cruelty to children.

It is unclear if he is the father to both children, according to Fox News.

Dixon reportedly went into the mall at 12:24 p.m., and officers said they arrived at 1:03 p.m.

According to his arrest warrant, Dixon “with criminal negligence caused a child under the age of 18 cruel or excessive physical or mental pain” by leaving the child inside a vehicle for 41 minutes without air conditioning, WAGA-TV reported.

The Cobb County Police Department posted a statement to Facebook on Monday, along with footage of the incident.

“A big THANK YOU to the concerned citizens who called 911. Your quick action is the reason these kids are safe today. You saw something and did something, and that made all the difference,” the statement read.

The footage also showed Dixon getting into the back of a police vehicle.

Police later booked him into Cobb County Jail.

His bond was set at $10,000, and he walked free the next day, according to WAGA-TV.

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) announced on Monday that he will once again submit a criminal referall of Dr. Anthony Fauci to the Deparment of Justice after the New York Times reported that White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zeints approved of Dr. Fauci’s pardon. 

Previously, Rand Paul referred Fauci to the Department of Justice for prosecution, following his testimony on the NIH’s role in funding gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab in 2021.

“The monarch and the Duke of Sussex’s aides met for a ‘secret peace summit’ in London last week, according to the Mail on Sunday.

The outlet obtained photos of Meredith Maines, the chief communications officer for Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, meeting with Charles’ communications secretary, Tobyn Andreae, last Wednesday.”

The informal meeting took place at the private members’ club Royal Over-Seas League.

A palace source: “There’s a long road ahead, but a channel of communication is now open for the first time in years […] There was no formal agenda, just casual drinks. There were things both sides wanted to talk about.”

The meeting was reportedly the ‘first step towards reconciliation’ between Harry and his father.

“’Everyone just wants to move on and move forward now. It was finally the right time for the two sides to talk’, the source added.”

It’s expected that the reconciliation will be tough, since Harry and Meghan ‘accused the royal family of racism’ and released a Netflix series venting their complaints against ‘the firm’.

“Then, in January 2023, Harry dropped his bombshell memoir, ‘Spare’, in which he alleged that William physically attacked him over Markle.”
