New York City officials are scheduled to hold a press conference at approximately 10 pm ET to provide updates on the deadly shooting in Midtown, Manhattan, which left five, including an off-duty cop, dead.

The shooter casually strolled into the 44-story skyscraper at 345 Park Avenue, wearing a bulletproof vest and armed with a semiautomatic rifle, and opened fire on the police officer before making his way up to the 33rd floor, where he was found dead by suicide.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams provided an update from the scene shortly after 8 pm ET.

Those who are in the building, we’re asking you to remain inside as police officers are doing a floor-by-floor search. We believe, again, the perpetrator is neutralized at this time. We’ll be going over to the hospital to speak with the family and loved ones involved in this incident. We did a shooting with multiple injuries at this time, but the perpetrator is neutralized.

The Gateway Pundit reported that the shooter was later identified as 27-year-old Shane Tamura from Las Vegas.

Another far left journalist is leaving the Washington Post, this time their ‘fact checker’ Glenn Kessler.

The reason so many liberal journalists are leaving the WaPo is because Jeff Bezos, the paper’s current owner, wants the paper to begin focusing on issues of liberty rather than just being a mouthpiece for the Democrat party. He offered a buyout to any staffers who felt they couldn’t get in line.

The people who are leaving are basically admitting that they don’t want to work in an environment that doesn’t allow them to be Democrat activists.

The man behind The Washington Post’s “Pinocchios” is leaving the paper without anyone to fill his shoes.

Glenn Kessler, the editor of The Fact Checker, announced Monday he has taken a buyout, ending his lengthy career at the Post.

“After more than 27 years at The Washington Post, including almost 15 as The Fact Checker, I will be leaving on July 31, having taken a buyout,” Kessler wrote on his Facebook page. “Much as I would have liked to keep scrutinizing politicians in Washington, especially in this era, the financial considerations were impossible to dismiss.”

Kessler said he wrote or edited more than 3,000 fact checks as editor and chief writer of The Fact Checker.

“When I started in 2011, there were only a handful of fact-checking organizations around the world, and I have been thrilled to watch the movement expand across the globe. So many of these brave and diligent fact checkers have become good friends,” Kessler wrote.

During Trump’s first term, Glenn Kessler kept a database to track Trump’s supposed untruths. After the 2020 election, he decided the database was no longer needed. That should tell you everything you need to know about him.

That says it all. In Kessler’s world, Trump must be ‘fact checked’ endlessly. Democrats like Joe Biden got the benefit of the doubt.

Kessler was one of the many journalists who defended Biden by pushing the ‘cheap fake’ narrative.

The woman seen in the video getting brutally assaulted by by an angry mob in Cincinnati has broken her silence and revealed something that reflects the lack of empathy from so many despite the heinousness of the attack.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, a group of black individuals smacked around a bald white guy at the intersection of West Fourth Street and Elm Street in downtown Cincy and beat him so bad he could not get up.

Then, a white woman got slugged by one of the cowards. Her head slammed down onto the concrete, and she lost consciousness. Blood was seen coming out of her mouth.

Five people have been arrested, but their names have not been released nor their charges.

Ramaswamy announced on X Monday afternoon that he had spoken to the female victim, a single mother whose first name is Holly (he did not give out her last name). She was in the city for a birthday party.

“I spoke to Holly earlier today (the woman tragically assaulted in Cincinnati this weekend). She’s a single working mom who went to a friend’s birthday party,” Ramaswamy wrote. “It’s unconscionable that there were no police present in that area of Cincinnati on a Friday night, or even an ambulance to take her to the hospital.”

“Hard-working Americans shouldn’t have to worry for their safety when they have a good time in our cities,” he added.

Holly then revealed an infuriating detail to Ramaswamy: Before he connected with her, Not ONE Ohio state politician, Democrat or Republican, bothered to try to contact her.

In fact, only one police detective had talked to her at all. How inconsiderate and self-serving.

Holly said not a single local or state official had yet reached out as of earlier this afternoon, other than one police detective. Leftists like to lecture about ‘systemic injustice’ while thugs turn our turn cities into war zones. I’m done with their excuses.

Ramaswamy closed by vowing that he would take a zero-tolerance approach to these crimes and noted that Holly appreciates the prayers and support.

“As governor, I’ll make sure they’re behind bars, not running wild. Our cops will have the green light to restore order—no apologies,” he said. “Holly appreciates the kind words and prayers from patriots across the country, and hopes that the publicity around her story ensures that local & state leaders clean up our failing cities.

US Attorney General Pam Bondi on Monday announced the Justice Department filed a misconduct complaint against Judge James Boasberg for making ‘improper public comments’ and admitting bias against the Trump Administration.

As reported earlier this month, DC Chief Judge James Boasberg and other DC Judges admitted bias against the Trump Administration during a March 2025 judicial conference with Chief Justice Roberts, according to a memo obtained by The Federalist.

For the last several months DC Circuit Court Judges have engaged in a judicial coup against President Trump.

Far-left DC judges James Boasberg, Beryl Howell, Chutkan, Berman Jackson and others have ruled against President Trump in every case related to deportations and firings in the Executive Branch.

Boasberg, an Obama appointee, is one of the worst offenders. Judge Boasberg not only demanded planes deporting illegals turn around midair, he said he found probable cause to hold Trump Admin officials in criminal contempt for defying his court order.

According to The Federalist, Boasberg discussed pending lawsuits and actually named a defendant during the judicial conference.

“Federal judge James Boasberg advised Chief Justice John Roberts and some two dozen other judges that his D.C. colleagues were “concern[ed] that the Administration would disregard rulings of federal courts leading to a constitutional crisis,” according to a memorandum obtained exclusively by The Federalist. That Judge Boasberg and his fellow D.C. District Court judges would discuss how a named Defendant in numerous pending lawsuits might respond to an adverse ruling is shocking. Equally outrageous is those judges’ clear disregard for the presumption of regularity — a presumption that requires a court to presume public officials properly discharged their official duties, The Federalist reported.

“In a memorandum obtained exclusively by The Federalist, a member of the Judicial Conference summarized the March meeting, including a “working breakfast” at which Justice Roberts spoke. According to the memorandum, “District of the District of Columbia Chief Judge James Boasberg next raised his colleagues’ concerns that the Administration would disregard rulings of federal courts leading to a constitutional crisis.”” The Federalist reported.

““Chief Justice Roberts expressed hope that would not happen and in turn no constitutional crisis would materialize,” according to the memorandum. The summary of the working breakfast added that Chief Justice Roberts noted that “his interactions with the President have been civil and respectful, such as the President thanking him at the state of the union address for administering the oath.”” the outlet added.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche weighed in on the memo earlier this month.

“A newly revealed memo confirms that at least some federal judges were predisposed against the Trump administration. This is a serious breach of the judicial oath and a threat to the rule of law. Every litigant, regardless of politics, is entitled to a fair forum,” Todd Blanche said.

The Manhattan mass shooter has been identified as 27-year-old Shane Tamura from Las Vegas.

At least five people are dead, including a police officer, after Shane Tamura opened fire in a building in Midtown.

Tamura reportedly wore a bulletproof vest as he walked into a 44-story building in Midtown Manhattan on 51st and Park Avenue and opened fire on multiple people before turning the gun on himself .

The New York Post reports, “A crazed gunman wearing a bulletproof vest opened fire inside a swanky Midtown skyscraper that houses Blackstone and NFL headquarters Monday, injuring three people, including a cop — before turning the gun on himself, sources said.”

The Post reported that the suspect “barricaded himself inside and was found dead from a gun-inflicted gunshot wound on the 33rd floor.”

A police officer and at least four other people were shot and killed — and several others injured — by a crazed gunman who stormed a swanky Midtown skyscraper early Monday evening — before turning the gun on himself, sources said.

The 27-year-old maniac, identified by sources as Shane Tamura, barged into the 44-story building — which houses Blackstone and the NFL headquarters — armed with a rifle and opened fire at around 6:30 p.m. during the evening rush, law enforcement sources told The Post.

A witness on the first floor said that “it sounded like a barrage of shots …Like an automatic weapon. Like a high-capacity weapon.”
