Cincinnati police have identified at least four suspects in the brutal beatings of a white man and white woman by a mostly Black mob Friday night in the downtown area of the city, according to the local Fraternal Order of Police and Fox News.

Videos and screen images of the attack went viral over the weekend, drawing comments from Ohio native Vice President J.D. Vance, head of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights division Harmeet Dhillon who said she is monitoring the case and Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-OH).

Cincinnati’s Democrat Mayor Aftab Pureval, who is facing Vance’s half-brother Cory Bowman in his bid for reelection in November’s election, finally commented Monday afternoon on the attacks after three days of silence. Bowman posted videos of the attack on Saturday that went viral criticizing Pureval for the lack of police presence downtown Friday.

Authorities have identified at least four suspects in a violent brawl that took place in downtown Cincinnati, police sources tell Fox News.

FOX 19 reported that the fight took place on Friday night between Elm and Fourth Streets, with videos of the brawl going viral on social media.

…Police sources told Fox News on Monday that at least four suspects have been identified. Police are still trying to identify at least eight more people, the sources said.

It’s unclear what led to the fight.

The two individuals were seriously injured in the fight, the police sources said.

Over 200 illegal alien sex offenders have been arrested in the Houston, Texas, area in just the last six months alone.

The 214 predators arrested by ICE “have been charged or convicted of a sex offense involving a minor,” according to a press release from the agency.

ICE noted, “The 214 arrests were more than the Houston field office arrested during the entire 2024 fiscal year, when officers there arrested 211 illegal aliens charged or convicted of child sex offenses.”

The agency credited the Trump administration’s “whole-of-government approach” for being able to arrest the dangerous illegal aliens by conducting “daily enhanced immigration enforcement operations” that targeted the “worst of the worst” for arrest and removal.

“Bringing together the resources and expertise of the entire federal law enforcement community to confront the overwhelming surge of illegal immigration that we saw over the past four years has resulted in the arrest and removal of historic numbers of violent criminal aliens, transnational gang members and child sex offenders,” said ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Houston acting Field Office Director Paul McBride.

McBride continued, “While we still have a long way to go to truly get this crisis under control, the strides we have made in just six months to make our local communities safer are substantial, and our officers continue to work tirelessly every day to get the worst of the worst criminal aliens out of Southeast Texas to return our communities to places we can all enjoy.”

ICE listed some of those who have been arrested as:

1. Jesus Gutierrez Mireles, a 67-year-old, three-time deported criminal alien from Mexico, who was arrested March 28 and has been convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child and driving while intoxicated. ICE removed Gutierrez Mireles to Mexico April 4.
2. Jorge Zebra, a 48-year-old criminal alien from Mexico, who was arrested March 21 and has been convicted of two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a minor and sexual indecency with a minor. ICE removed Zebra to Mexico March 24.
3. Manuel Antonio Castro-Juarez, a 37-year-old, twice-deported criminal alien from El Salvador who was arrested July 18 and has been convicted of sexual assault of a minor and twice for illegal reentry. Castro-Juarez remains in ICE custody pending his third removal to El Salvador.
4. Jose Guadalupe Meza, a 40-year-old, four-time deported criminal alien from Mexico who was arrested June 24 and has been convicted of theft and sexual assault of a child. ICE removed Guadalupe Meza to Mexico June 25.
5. Sergio Rolando Galvan Guerrero, a 45-year-old, three-time deported criminal alien from Mexico who was arrested July 12 and has been convicted of DWI and aggravated sexual assault of a child. ICE removed Galvan Guerrero to Mexico July 14.

The operations were conducted in conjunction with the Houston offices of the FBI, the ATF, the DEA, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Diplomatic Security Service, and the U.S. Marshals Service.

The agency added, “Members of the public can report crimes and suspicious activity by dialing 866-DHS-2-ICE (866-347-2423) or completing the online tip form.”

President Donald Trump is once again setting the record straight — this time blasting the media’s selective amnesia on the Jeffrey Epstein scandal while revealing he rejected an invitation to Epstein’s notorious “pedo island,” unlike former President Bill Clinton, who allegedly made 28 separate visits.

Speaking Monday during a press appearance in Scotland with U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer, President Trump unloaded on the legacy media for ignoring the real predators connected to Epstein.

“I never went to the island, and Bill Clinton went there supposedly 28 times. I never went to the island, but Larry Summers, I hear, went there. He was the head of Harvard, and many other people—very big people. Nobody ever talks about them,” Trump said.

Trump reiterated what he’s said for years: Epstein was persona non grata at Mar-a-Lago, and he was kicked out after crossing the line.

“I don’t want to waste your time by explaining it. But for years, I wouldn’t talk to Jeffrey Epstein. I wouldn’t talk because he did something that was inappropriate. He hired help, and I said, ‘Don’t ever do that again.’ He stole people that worked for me. I said, ‘Don’t ever do that again.’ He did it again. I threw him out of the place—persona non grata. I threw him out, and that was it. I’m glad I did, if you want to know the truth.”

When asked about a salacious Wall Street Journal report alleging he once sent Epstein a drawing of a naked woman, Trump fired back.

“I don’t do drawings of women,” Trump said, adding, “And also, Epstein was a very controversial guy. I was at a very high position, you know, pretty much all my life … who would do a controversial drawing?… Now with that being said they say there were many letters done by many people.”

When asked about whether he would consider a pardon for Epstein’s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, Trump said he hadn’t given it any thought, according to The Hill.

“I’m allowed to give her a pardon. Nobody’s approached me with it, nobody’s asked me about it. It’s in the news, about that, that aspect of it. But right now it would be inappropriate to talk about it.”

Details about quadruple murderer Brian Kohberger’s first interview have been released as the gag order on the case was lifted following his guilty plea.

Kohberger was sentenced to four consecutive life sentences without parole last week for the brutal murders of University of Idaho students Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin.

Following Kohberger’s change of plea to guilty, Ada County Judge Steven Hippler lifted a long-standing gag order that had restricted public dissemination of information about the investigation and proceedings. Immediately following his sentencing hearing, the Moscow Police Department released hundreds of previously sealed documents.

One of the most anticipated pieces of new information was reports on Kohberger’s first formal interaction with law enforcement following his arrest on December 30, 2022, at his parents’ home in Pennsylvania. The interview took place at the Pennsylvania State Police barracks in Stroudsburg, conducted by detectives from the Idaho State Police and FBI agents who had traveled to question him.

According to the documents, the conversation began casually, with Kohberger engaging in small talk about his academic pursuits. As a criminology Ph.D. student at Washington State University (WSU) at the time of the murders, he discussed his background in criminal justice, his role as a teaching assistant, and his recent cross-country travels between Washington and Pennsylvania. He even remarked to one detective, “You do look familiar.”

“Knowledge was far more important to him than money,” police said of Kohberger’s attitude, adding that he said he “loved being in college.”

At one point, the murderer said he “would appreciate it if we [police] would explain to him what he was doing there.”

The detective responded by asking Kohberger why he thought they were there, to which he deflected and said he would prefer to be told.

“Det. Gilbertson said we were there because of what occurred in Moscow but did not provide any further detail,” the report says.

The tone shifted when investigators broached the topic of the Moscow homicides. Kohberger acknowledged receiving a crime alert on his phone from the university shortly after the killings, but claimed to know few details about the incident. When pressed further on whether he wished to discuss the murders, he responded, “Well, I think I would need a lawyer,” effectively invoking his Fifth Amendment rights and ending the substantive portion of the interview.

No further questioning occurred without legal representation.

The report states:

Kohberger sat back and said he had the utmost respect for law enforcement but stated it was a constitutional right to speak to an attorney. Det. Gilbertson affirmed this. Kohberger then reengaged and said the only thing he heard of from Moscow was an alert that came to his phone. Kohberger then said he wanted to talk to an attorney. Det. Gilbertson said we would stop now because Kohberger wanted to speak to an attorney. Kohberger then asked where his parents were and were his dog was. Kohberger reengaged again and asked what questions we would have for him. Det. Gilbertson then asked Kohberger again if he understood his rights and asked specifically what Kohberger wished. Kohberger asked what specifically we wanted to talk to him about and the reason. I told Kohberger he invoked his Fifth Amendment Rights and we were not going to ask him any further questions. Kohberger asked again for the reason he was there but added he would like to talk to an attorney. At this point, we concluded our interview with Kohberger and left the room.

The documents detail several unsettling incidents involving Kohberger before the murders. Female students at WSU reported feeling uncomfortable around him, citing instances where he allegedly used his teaching assistant position to interact inappropriately, such as following them on social media or making unsolicited comments.

A former friend, identified only as “L,” described Kohberger as intelligent but selfish, noting that he often misled others about collaborative work and displayed injuries on his face and hands— including a large scratch and wounded knuckles, which he attributed to a car accident.

Autopsy reports also confirmed the savagery of the attacks, with all four victims dying from sharp-force injuries inflicted by a single-edged, non-serrated knife.

Ethan Chapin suffered a fatal stab wound under his left clavicle, severing major blood vessels. Xana Kernodle endured over 50 stab wounds, many defensive, with lethal injuries to her heart and lung. Madison Mogen had lacerations to her liver and lung, while Kaylee Goncalves sustained over 20 stab wounds, including damage to her liver, lung, brain, and subclavian artery, along with evidence of blunt force and asphyxial trauma.

Vice President JD Vance went off on an AP reporter during remarks on tax cuts in Canton, Ohio, at a steel factory.

“I guess I’m going to be that person. There are some protestors outside accusing the GOP of protecting pedophiles, and we’re wondering what you think are the reasons the U.S. government should shield the client list of Epstein from the public?” the Associated Press reporter asked Vance.

Vance unleashed on the reporter.

“Well, let me just say a couple of things. First of all.. we’re not shielding anything. The President has directed the Attorney General to release all critical information and frankly to go find additional credible information related to the Jeffrey Epstein case – he’s been incredibly transparent about that stuff, but some of that stuff takes time,” Vance said.

“I got to make an observation. There’s an interesting thing about this case that the American media seems to totally ignore,” Vance said.

“For four years under Joe Biden’s Department of Justice, the media didn’t give a damn about the Epstein files or about the Epstein case for literally 20 years the story about this scumbag…for 20 years you had Obama and George W Bush’s DOJ go easy on this guy…they didn’t fully investigate the case… and now Donald J Trump is asking his DOJ to show full transparency and somehow that’s a criticism of Donald J Trump and not Barack Obama and and George W. Bush!” Vance said.
