Secretary of State Marco Rubio praised Vice President JD Vance in a recent interview, but stopped short of ruling out a 2028 presidential bid.

Vance is widely speculated to be the favorite for the next Republican presidential nomination.

Rubio discussed the 2028 election during an interview with Fox News’ “My View With Lara Trump,” over the weekend.

The president’s daughter-in-law asked Rubio if he had “sights set outside of the State Department.”

“Well, I think JD Vance would be a great nominee. If he decides he wants to do that. I think he’s doing a great job as Vice President. He’s a close friend and I hope he intends to do it,” Rubio said.

Rubio continued, “It’s kind of early, you know, but being in the role that I’m in here at the Secretary of State, I really don’t play in politics. There’s actually rules against me being involved in domestic politics.”

“I want to do this job as long as the president allows me to do it and stay in that job, which would keep me here all the way through January of 2028,” Rubio said. “You never know what the future holds. You never rule things out or anything.”

Rubio previously ran for president in 2016, losing the nomination to President Donald Trump. He also discussed what it was like running against such a massive personality.

“I knew who he was, obviously, but I’d never met him,” Rubio said of the president, who had nicknamed him “Little Marco” during the primaries. “We happened to be competing for the same thing. So in any competition, especially as you get down and it narrows down to three or four people, you know, punches are going to be thrown.”

Rubio continued, “But then that ends, and then we’re on the same team because he’s a Republican nominee and I’m a Republican.”

In addition to serving as Secretary of State, Rubio has taken on the unprecedented dual responsibility of acting national security adviser, making him the first person since Henry Kissinger to hold both positions simultaneously, while also overseeing USAID and the National Archives and Records Administration.

This month, reports of alleged attacks on Christians in Israel by Jews flared up on social media. Pope Leo XIV. condemned an alleged attack on the only Catholic Church in Gaza, and local “Palestinian Christians” claimed “Jewish Settlers” burned down St. George’s Church in Taybeh on July 7. Local American Evangelical Christians The Israel Guys went to investigate.

After claims that “violent settlers” burned down St. George’s Church in the Arab village of Taybeh in Samaria, Luke Hilton and Josh Waller of “The Israel Guys” visited the site and found the claims were entirely fabricated. St. George’s Church are ruins from the 5th Century, with thick stone walls, and impossible to “burn down”.

On July 19, US Ambassador Mike Huckbee had posted: “Taybeh is a quiet Palestinian Christian village south of Jerusalem w/ a lot of American citizens that has been vandalized, including fires set at ancient church. I visited there today. Desecrating a church, mosque, or synagogue is a crime against humanity & God. … When American citizens in Israel … are terrorized or victims of crime I will demand those responsible be held accountable w/ real consequences.”

However, it seems the only fire in Taybeh on July 7 was a brush fire outside the Church ruin, Eliana Passentin of the Benjamin regional council revealed when she visited the site (at 18:55 in this video):

Eliana Passentin’s video prompted Josh and Luke to go visit Taybeh as well, and even speak to local “Palestinian Christians”.

They quickly debunked the Fake News story of “violent Jewish settlers” burning down a Christian church.

Local Jewish residents were actually filmed trying to put out the fire, while Arabs threw rocks at them, Josh and Luke revealed.

Israeli police also dismissed reports that Jewish settlers had set fire to the Church of St. George, calling them “factually incorrect,” Fox News reported.

“Findings gathered on the ground unequivocally show that no damage or harm was caused to the holy site itself,” police said.

US Ambassador Mike Huckabee also clarified his earlier statement:

Patriotic NGO Regavim recently compiled a report “False Flags and Real Agendas” debunking claims of so-called “Settler Violence” in Judea and Samaria (AKA “The West Bank” of Jordan), showing that out of 7,883 incidents reported by the UN, only 2% were actual conflicts, usually between violent Arabs and Israeli police and IDF. In all 7883 reported incidents, there was not a single case of actual violence by an “Israeli settler” against Arabs in Judea and Samaria.

UN reports of “settler violence” included things like Jews praying on the Temple mount, Israel paving roads in Judea and Samaria, terror attacks by Arabs (the response is labeled as “settler violence”) and even traffic accidents involving Israelis and Arabs.

The Attack on the Holy Family Parish in Gaza

On July 17th, “hundreds of people were sheltering in the Gaza Strip’s only Catholic church when an Israeli strike on the complex killed 3 people and injured 12. Among the injured was the parish priest,” Christianity Today reported.

Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa visited Holy Family Parish in Gaza July 18-20, and called on President Donald Trump to “take an important role in order to stop this devastation.”

Pope Leo XIV. mourned the victims in his Angelus prayer on July 20, calling for “an immediate halt to the barbarity of the war” and for “a peaceful resolution of the conflict.”  The Holy Father called the attack “just one of the continuous military attacks against the civilian population and places of worship in Gaza”.

Pope Leo XIV. called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by phone July 18 from his summer residence Castel Gandolfo to discuss the “military attack by the Israel army” and urge a ceasefire.

An Israeli Defense Forces investigation concluded July 23 that the strike on the Holy Family Parish compound “was the result of an accidental mortar round that veered off course during “operational activity” by IDF troops in the area of Gaza City”.

“We share the grief of the families and the faithful. We are grateful to Pope Leo for his words of comfort. Israel is investigating the incident and remains committed to protecting civilians and holy sites,” the Netanyahu’s office said, according to JNS.

“The IDF directs its strikes solely at military targets and works to mitigate harm to civilians and civilian infrastructure as much as possible, including religious institutions,” the military said in a statement. “The IDF regrets any harm caused to civilians”.

Republican Sen. Rick Scott flew a banner over New York City beaches urging anti-socialist New Yorkers to move to Florida if Zohran Mamdani wins the mayoral race.

The aerial ad was spotted flying above Coney Island, Rockaway Beach, and Jones Beach on Saturday.

Mamdani, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), recently won the Democratic primary, positioning himself as a strong contender for the mayor’s office. His platform includes progressive policies such as rent control, increased public housing, and government-run grocery stores.

“New York City once represented the American Dream – a city where anything was possible. Today, it has now become the city where only billionaires can prosper, Jewish students are attacked on campus, capitalism is shunned and radical socialists like Zohran Mamdani are celebrated,” Scott said in a statement to the New York Post. “New York City has benefitted from the best system in the world – Capitalism – yet it is now being villainized by the Democrats all across this country.”

“Democrats are working around the clock to discredit President Trump and tear down our country and rebuild it in their woke, radical image through socialist policies.”

Scott also explained that socialism is “an old, barbaric, discredited idea that’s failed every time it’s been tried.”

“As Governor and now US Senator, I have constantly worked to make sure every family can get a great job, their kids can get a world class education and they can live in safe communities,” Scott said. “That is the American Dream and it is deeply unfortunate that it is completely slipping away in New York.”

The senator concluded by saying, “New York families deserve better.”

Florida has experienced a significant influx of new residents fleeing from liberal states, such as New York, in recent years.

The Trump Administration appears set to bring those who orchestrated one of the greatest hoaxes in American history to justice, including the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee.

As The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft reported, Gabbard released her second batch of previously undisclosed documents on Wednesday morning. These documents include more proof that Barack Obama directly gave the order to publish the Russia Collusion hoax, knowing there was no proof to back it up.

Page three of this latest document drop shows that then-President Obama ordered the release of documents, knowing there was no evidence to back them up. Obama didn’t just know about the Russia hoax – he directed it. All to delegitimize Trump’s historic win.

Obama also helped cover up the blackmail Vladimir Putin had on Crooked Hillary Clinton, including her numerous health issues.

Several deep state hacks affiliated with Obama also helped push the Russia Hoax and are in hot water. One person who should be particularly concerned is former CIA Director John Brennan.

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper is already so worried that he has lawyered up. And let’s not forget that Clinton directly coordinated with the Obama White House to launch the hoax.

The good news for Americans is that CIA Director John Ratcliffe made it clear that prosecutions of these criminal politicians and deep-state actors are very much on the table. He confirmed under questioning today from Sunday Morning Futures host Maria Bartiromo that Brennan, Comey, and Clinton should not sleep too soundly at night.

Ratcliffe added confirmed that more evidence is coming out, and it’s all bad for Clinton.

Police have identified the man who allegedly carried out the horrifying attack on several innocent shoppers in a Michigan town yesterday.

As Newsweek reported Grand Traverse Sheriff Mike Shea said during a press conference Sunday that 42-year-old Bradford James Gille is in custody. He faces 11 counts of assault with intent to murder in the random.

Gille, who is from Afton, Michigan has also been charged with one count of terrorism.

Sheriff Shea added that the oldest of Gilley’s alleged victims are in their 80s.

It is not clear if Gilley has an attorney right now.

Shea also noted that they have not determined a motive for the attack.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, 11 people were stabbed at a Walmart in Traverse City, Michigan on Saturday afternoon.

At about 4:43 p.m., Gille entered the Walmart on Circle Crossing and used a folding knife to allegedly stab his victims.

Within three minutes, a sheriff’s deputy arrived and arrested Gille. The deputy was reportedly assisted by several bystanders, including an armed citizen.

Shea admitted that it was rare to see so many people risk themselves like that.

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino announced the FBI responded to the attack and provided assistance.

FBI personnel are responding to provide any necessary support to the Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office in their investigation of the attacks at the Walmart.
