Far left hate site Media Matters for America (MMFA) is staring bankruptcy in the face as it drowns in debt caused by government investigations, legal expenses from Elon Musk, and a loss of donors, according to The New York Times.

For those of you not familiar with Media Matters for America, MMFA claims to be a non-profit journalism watchdog organization.

The organization’s entire mission is to put conservative websites, personalities, and talk shows out of business. They have been highly successful over the years.

Media Matters has devoted time and energy attacking The Gateway Pundit for over a decade now. In fact, Media Matters wrote over 1,000 hit pieces smearing The Gateway Pundit over the years.

Media Matters was also successful in blocking our content from Twitter-X and Facebook.

Now the President of Media Matters is making appearances on the far left channels and whining about how the attacks against his company is pushing them to bankruptcy.

This is truly rich coming from the president of the largest far left organization that’s only goal is to rid the public square of conservative voices.

What makes matters worse for Media Matters is that the far left law firm Elias law, led by infamous leftist hack Marc Elias, has fleeced them with millions in legal fees. Media Matters. This means the organization could face bankruptcy.

In a hilarious exchange on X, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) got absolutely demolished by White House Communications Director Steven Cheung after he tried to attack President Trump and defend Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell. 

President Trump visited the Federal Reserve headquarters in Washington, DC, on Thursday to examine the new construction on Powell’s insanely expensive renovation.

Powell is under fire for the cost of renovating the Fed’s headquarters. The cost ballooned from $1.9 billion to $2.5 billion, even higher when you take into account the third building that they’ve already renovated as part of the project. According to official Federal Reserve documents, the project will cost upwards of $3.1 billion.

The Gateway Pundit reported on a fiery exchange between Trump and Powell, where the Fed Chairman tried to argue with Trump about the building renovation costs in front of the cameras.

When Powell tried to deny the $3.1 billion figure, Trump pulled out the receipts, and Powell tried to say he was wrong.

Powell further said he does not expect additional cost overruns, but “we’re ready for them,” and “we have a little bit of a reserve that we may use.”

Swalwell tried to own Trump with the viral image of a befuddled Jerome Powell looking at the document, commenting, "When my wife tells me we’re actually saving money with Rent the Runway."

Rent the Runway is an e-commerce platform that allows users to subscribe to periodic clothing deliveries. The implication is that Trump was wrong and Powell was confused by his calculation.

Cheung fired back with a savage response, correcting the caption by pointing out Swalwell's history of sleeping with a Chinese spies.

It can be recalled that Swalwell, a former House Intelligence Committee Democrat, had a sexual relationship with Fang Fang Fang, AKA Christine Fang, a Chinese spy and honey pot, who previously infiltrated his campaign headquarters. Swalwell cut ties with Fang in 2015 after a defensive briefing.

A federal judge on Friday dismissed President Trump’s lawsuit against the state of Illinois and Governor Pritzker over sanctuary city laws.

US District Judge Lindsay Jenkins, a Biden appointee, dismissed the lawsuit and said federal laws do not force states to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement.

“Defendants’ motions to dismiss are granted. The individual defendants are dismissed because the United States lacks standing to sue them with respect to the Sanctuary Policies; Cook County Board of Commissioners is dismissed because it is not a suable entity separate from Cook County,” the judge wrote.

A federal judge has thrown out the Trump administration’s bid to force Illinois and Chicago to aid its mass deportation agenda, saying it would encroach on autonomy guaranteed to states under the Constitution.

U.S. District Judge Lindsay Jenkins concluded that the lawsuit — the first filed by the administration this year trying to upend so-called “sanctuary policies” in states and cities — was an “end-run around the Tenth Amendment,” which protects states from federal government overreach.

In a 64-page ruling Friday, the Biden-appointed judge said federal laws “permit” states to cooperate with the federal government on immigration enforcement, but do not require it. Therefore, states can’t be forced to partner with federal efforts, she said, citing a series of Supreme Court rulings that block the federal government from “commandeering” state or local officials to perform federal duties.

Oran Routh, son of would-be assassin Ryan Routh who was arrested last year for child pornography, was sentenced to 7 years in prison.

“On Friday morning, Oran Routh appeared in federal court for sentencing for a count of possessing child pornography of a child under the age of 12. He pleaded guilty to this charge in exchange for his other charges, which included multiple counts of possessing and transporting child pornography, being dismissed,” WGHP reported.

“The judge sentenced him to 7 years in prison with 5 years of supervised probation,” the outlet reported.

Oran Routh was taken into custody after investigators found hundreds of child porn files on his Galaxy Note during a search of his North Carolina residence last year.

“A review of the SD card located in Device-1 revealed that it contained hundreds of child pornography files,” prosecutors wrote in the criminal complaint, according to ABC News. “These files include videos from a known child pornography series created outside the state of North Carolina.”

Ryan Routh is currently in federal custody on charges of attempting to assassinate a major presidential candidate and other firearms violations.

“My dad hates Trump like every reasonable person does.” He even went so far as to say, “I don’t like Trump either,” but in the next breath tried to downplay his father’s actions, claiming, “He’s not a violent person.”

“He’s my dad and all he’s had is couple traffic tickets, as far as I know… That’s crazy. I know my dad and love my dad, but that’s nothing like him.”

“He said he was at the beach, but I thought that meant the outer banks in Hawaii,” Oran said.

The father and son had reportedly had a “falling out,” though Oran declined to elaborate on the reasons.

“I didn’t ask him for more information because we’ve had a falling out. We’ve grown apart.”

Despite their distance, Oran insisted, “He’s not a violent person. He’s a hard worker and a great dad. He’s a great dude, a nice guy and has worked his whole f***king life.”

Now, as the country awaits with bated breath the next steps in this saga, a veritable barrage of reports arise pretending to leak aspects of the proceeding between Maxwell and the DOJ.

For instance, we’ve just seen ABC News report from ‘sources’ that Maxwell answered questions for about nine hours ‘after being granted a limited form of immunity’.

ABC News reported:

“The immunity allowed Maxwell to freely answer Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche’s questions without fear that her responses could later be used against her, the sources said.

The so-called proffer immunity is commonly granted to individuals [that] prosecutors are seeking to make cooperators in a criminal case. Maxwell has already been tried, convicted and sentenced for sex trafficking underage girls.”

Maxwell’s attorney, David Markus, told ABC News afterward, that ‘There have been no asks and no promises’, and that she was asked about ‘maybe 100 different people’ during her interview with the deputy attorney general – and answered every question.

Markus: “We haven’t asked for anything. This is not a situation where we are asking for anything in return for testimony or anything like that. Of course, everybody knows Ms. Maxwell would welcome any relief.”

Deputy AG Blanche has vowed to reveal what he learned from Maxwell ‘at the appropriate time’.

As for President Donald J. Trump, he has stressed that he has the power to pardon Maxwell, but said that now ‘it is not the time’ for discussing that.
