At the bottom of the Baltic Sea, an act of sabotage disrupted energy security for Europeans. 

Back in late 2022, while the war in Ukraine was in its first months, a series of underwater explosions that destroyed the Nord Stream pipelines in Germany showed us that the military conflict was going to deeply affect the European energy supply.

Today (21), it has been reported that Italian police have arrested a Ukrainian man who is suspected of coordinating the attacks on the Nord Stream.

Germany’s prosecutor general said that the man would be brought before a German judge after being transferred.

Reuters reported:

“Seen by both Russia and the West as an act of sabotage, no one has ever taken responsibility for explosions that severely damaged pipelines carrying gas from Russia to Europe in September 2022, marking a major escalation in the Ukraine conflict and ramping up an energy supply crisis on the continent.

The suspect, identified only as Serhii K. under German privacy laws, was part of a group of people who planted devices on the pipelines near the Danish island of Bornholm in September 2022, a statement from the prosecutor’s office said.”

The prosecutor’s office states that the man and his accomplices sailed from Germany’s Rostock to carry out the attack.

The boat was rented with fake identity papers.

“Authorities acted on a European arrest warrant for the suspect, who faces charges of collusion to cause an explosion, anti-constitutional sabotage and destruction of buildings.”

Deutsche Welle reported:

“The suspect, a Ukrainian national, was detained near Rimini, Italy, prosecutors said. In a statement, they thanked their Italian counterparts and other international law enforcement agencies for their assistance.

[…] Justice Minister Stefanie Hubig praised the ‘impressive success’ that led to the overnight arrest, calling for the case to proceed until all the suspects had been detained.”

“Because the explosions occurred in Swedish and Danish waters on German-owned equipment, all three countries launched investigations.

In August 2024, German authorities concluded their initial investigation and issued an arrest warrant for the suspected ringleader, a Ukrainian national identified as Volodymyr Z. Officials said he had been living in Poland and had chartered a German yacht to carry out the attack.”

Missouri Republicans have begun the process of redistricting congressional maps, following the lead of Texas Republicans after they passed a bill giving the state five more Republican House seats.

“The Great State of Missouri is now IN,” President Trump announced on X on Thursday morning, noting that he’s “not surprised.”

Trump also noted that “It is a great State with fabulous people. I won it, all 3 times, in a landslide.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the Texas House of Representatives on Wednesday approved a redistricting plan that hands five additional U.S. House seats to Republicans.

The Texas State Senate is expected to quickly approve the new maps, sending the bill to Governor Abbott’s desk for his signature.

Missouri seeks to add one more seat to its current six Republican districts.

“Our goal, if we move forward — and there’s no decision to move forward — is to make sure Missouri’s values are reflected in Washington, D.C.,” Governor Mike Kehoe told reporters on Tuesday. “And I’ve said many times that I think our current speaker does a very good job of matching the values of Missourians.”

There’s a new congressional district map for Missouri circulating that was produced in Washington, D.C. But a top Republican said Wednesday that she’s been unable to get a look at it.

Jennifer Bukowsky of Columbia, vice chair of the Republican State Committee, said she expects a special session of the Legislature to be called after there is agreement between the Trump White House and the Republican National Committee on how to revise current boundaries.

President Donald Trump and his political advisers are pushing Missouri to join Texas in redrawing districts to favor the GOP. Any proposal is likely to split the 5th District, which is mainly in Kansas City, by adding Republican voters in sufficient numbers to take it away from incumbent U.S. Rep. Emanuel Cleaver.

That would give Republicans seven of the state’s eight seats in the U.S. House instead of the current six.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced on Wednesday that she had eliminated the Foreign Malign Influence Center, a Biden-era government organization that worked with social media giants to censor conservatives and voices that opposed Biden administration beliefs.

Tulsi Gabbard made the announcement Wednesday night on Jesse Watters’ program.

Gabbard told Watters, “Here’s what’s interesting, Jesse, is this was created under the Biden administration, and ultimately it has been used, and this is documented, there’s documented evidence of this, is that it was essentially used as a means to censor Americans’ free speech, calling it, ‘Hey, you’re spreading disinformation.’

This center was going and working with different social media companies saying, Well, this is disinformation or misinformation. We have to censor these dissenting voices who are being critical of the then Biden administration.

That’s one example of some of the others, once again, who are not only not conducting our core national security mission, but actually existing as a means to politicize intelligence, and in this case, censor free speech of Americans, which is a direct contradiction and undermining of our fundamental constitutional rights.

Fox News’ resident leftist Jessica Tarlov has once again embarrassed herself, this time rushing to defend an illegal alien on social media before being forced to delete her tweet in disgrace.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that D.C. police tackled an illegal alien on the National Mall after he tried to flee. Video captured him shouting in Spanish, “Please! I’m not a criminal. I work here! I want to be with my family!”

Without missing a beat, Tarlov rushed to X to blast Trump’s law-and-order approach. She wrote:

“This doesn’t make D.C. safer. It’ll just make people not come to D.C. The cruelty is always the point.”

But what Tarlov conveniently left out or didn’t bother to check was the criminal record of the man she was defending.

Her virtue-signaling collapsed within hours when White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller dropped the receipts.

“Why are you defending a criminal illegal alien invader charged with sexually assaulting a child?” Miller wrote on X.

According to DHS, the illegal alien from Mexico was arrested in January 2024 in Fairfax County for aggravated sexual assault of a child under 13. He had a final order of removal, had already “voluntarily returned” twice, and had entered the U.S. illegally three times.

That’s who Jessica Tarlov was standing up for.

After getting called out, Tarlov scrambled to save face, backpedaling with this pathetic excuse:

“I didn’t know he was – the DHS memo on him came out hours after the video. Wouldn’t ever defend such a person! Hopefully you guys will only go after these types versus hardworking folks that have committed no crimes! Will delete my original tweet,” Tarlov wrote.

The Deep State is in full meltdown mode after Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard followed through on her promise to clean house and revoked the security clearances of 37 corrupt officials tied to the Trump–Russia hoax.

In doing so, they undermine our national security, the safety and security of the American people and the foundational principles of our democratic republic,” Tulsi said.

One of those names on the list? Joel Willett.

Joel Willett, a former Army and CIA officer who has now taken to social media crying about his “service” while smearing Tulsi and President Trump.

Willett is a veteran of the U.S. Army, with additional service in the U.S. Intelligence Community and at the National Security Council, where he served in the White House Situation Room.

And instead of taking accountability, Willett ran to X to play victim:

Independent journalist Laura Loomer wasn’t having it. She torched Willett’s meltdown and reminded everyone exactly why his clearance was revoked.
