A review of the results in Orange County showed that 21% of all votes in the 2024 Election were related to non-citizens, illegitimate voters, and phantom voters, totally made up.

The United States has canceled a scheduled visit by its trade negotiators to New Delhi from August 25 to 29.

This postponement delays discussions on a proposed bilateral trade agreement between the two countries. Hopes for immediate relief from impending additional tariffs on Indian goods have been diminished as a result.

Negotiations for the trade deal are now expected to resume at a later, undetermined date. The U.S. Embassy in New Delhi stated it has no further details on the talks, which are managed by the United States Trade Representative.

India’s commerce ministry did not respond to requests for comment on the cancellation.

Earlier in August 2025, President Donald Trump signed an executive order imposing an additional 25% tariff on Indian imports, citing India’s ongoing purchases of Russian oil.

This measure, effective August 27, 2025, will increase duties on certain Indian exports to the U.S. to as high as 50%, marking one of the highest rates applied to any trading partner.

The tariffs follow five rounds of talks that stalled over U.S. demands for greater access to India’s agriculture and dairy markets, as well as calls to halt Russian oil imports.

Bilateral trade between the U.S. and India exceeded $190 billion in 2024, with the U.S. running a deficit of about $45 billion.

Key Indian exports to the U.S. include pharmaceuticals, telecommunications equipment, and precious stones. The new tariffs could affect sectors like textiles, gems, jewelry, and auto parts, potentially reducing India’s GDP growth by 0.2% to 0.8% if prolonged.

India’s foreign ministry described the tariffs as unfair, unjustified, and unreasonable, noting that the U.S. and European Union continue trading with Russia in other goods.

Officials emphasized that India’s oil imports are driven by market factors and energy security needs for its 1.4 billion population. India has no immediate plans for retaliation but is exploring options like increasing U.S. imports of natural gas and gold to address the trade deficit.

Trade tensions escalated amid U.S. concerns over India’s role as a major buyer of Russian crude, with imports reaching record levels since the Ukraine conflict began.

A Trump administration adviser stated that India acts as a global clearinghouse for Russian oil, converting it for resale. Unlike India, China, another significant importer of Russian oil, has not faced similar penalties, prompting questions about selective enforcement.

Experts view the tariffs as a negotiating tactic to pressure India into concessions on market access and geopolitical alignments.

The cancellation reflects broader strains in U.S.-India relations, despite shared strategic interests.

Ongoing talks had aimed for a deal by fall 2025, with a U.S. delegation originally set to discuss terms in New Delhi. Indian officials remain committed to a balanced agreement while protecting domestic farmers and industries.

President Trump announced on Monday that he spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin and is already arranging a meeting between Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. 

Per Fox News’s Bret Baier German Chancellor Friedrich Merz told reporters that the meeting between Putin and Zelensky will happen within two weeks.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump revealed during his meeting with Zelensky, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, French President Emmanuel Macron, and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer that Russian President Vladimir Putin has agreed to accept a deal that involves security guarantees for Ukraine.

Ukraine has demanded security guarantees before agreeing to a truce with Russia.

“During the meeting, we discussed Security Guarantees for Ukraine, which Guarantees would be provided by the various European Countries, with a coordination with the United States of America,” Trump said.

“Everyone is very happy about the possibility of PEACE for Russia/Ukraine.”

Trump also confirmed that he called Putin and “began the arrangements” for Zelensky and Putin to meet. “After that meeting takes place, we will have a Trilat, which would be the two Presidents, plus myself,” he said.

“This was a very good, early step for a War that has been going on for almost four years. Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, are coordinating with Russia and Ukraine. ”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday said he had a “very good” conversation with President Trump earlier and signaled that he is ready for a trilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. 

Zelensky participated in a bilateral meeting with President Trump on Monday afternoon. Shortly afterward, Zelensky participated in another meeting with Trump and seven European leaders.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump revealed during the meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, French President Emmanuel Macron, and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer that Russian President Vladimir Putin has agreed to accept a deal that involves security guarantees for Ukraine.

Trump also signaled that Ukraine may need to cede territory that Russia now occupies.

Zelensky told reporters during the meeting his conversation with Trump was the “best” to date, and “maybe the best one will be in the future” as they work to finalize an end to the war between Russia and Ukraine.

At one point, President Trump paused the meeting to call Putin, despite previously saying he planned to speak with Putin after the meetings.

US Attorney For DC Jeanine Pirro on Monday announced the arrest of a woman who traveled from New York to DC to assassinate President Trump.

According to the DOJ, 50-year-old Nathalie Rose Jones was charged with threatening to take the life of, kidnap, or inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States, and transmitting in interstate commerce communications containing threats to kidnap any person or any threat to injure the person of another.

“She was working to have [Trump] eliminated. She’s now in custody, she will be prosecuted to the fullest extent to the law,” Pirro said.

Per the Justice Department:

Nathalie Rose Jones, 50, of Lafayette, Indiana, was arrested in the District of Columbia on Saturday, August 16, and charged in connection with making a series of threats on social media in which she threatened to kill President Trump, announced U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro.

Jones was charged in a complaint in U.S. District Court with threatening to take the life of, kidnap, or inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States, and transmitting in interstate commerce communications containing threats to kidnap any person or any threat to injure the person of another.

According to court documents, from August 2 to August 9, members of the U.S. Secret Service observed that Instagram user account “nath.jones” had posted threatening comments about the President of the United States. The Instagram user called for President Trump’s removal, labeled President Trump as a terrorist, referred to President Trump’s administration as a dictatorship, and stated that President Trump had caused extreme and unnecessary loss of life in relation to the coronavirus.

On Facebook between August 6 and August 15, “Nath.Jones” allegedly continued to post threatening comments about President Trump. In an August 6 post directed at the FBI, Nath.Jones wrote that “I am willing to sacrificially kill this POTUS by disemboweling him and cutting out his trachea with Liz Cheney and all The Affirmation present.”

On August 14, in a post directed to U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Nath Jones allegedly wrote “please arrange the arrest and removal ceremony of POTUS Trump as a terrorist on the American People from 10-2pm at the White House on Saturday, August 16th, 2025.”

On August 15, the U.S. Secret Service conducted a voluntary interview with Jones, during which she stated the President was a “terrorist” and a “nazi,” that if she had the opportunity, she would take the President’s life and would kill him at “the compound” if she had to, that she had a “bladed object,” which she said was the weapon she would use to “carry out her mission of killing” the president, and that she wanted to “avenge all the lives lost during the Covid-19 pandemic,” which she atrributed to President Trump’s administration and its position on vaccinations.

On August 16, Jones joined a protest demonstration that started at Dupont Circle, and circumnavigated the White House complex. Following the march, the U.S. Secret Service interviewed Jones for a second time, during which she admitted that she had made threats towards President Trump during her interview the previous day. She denied having any present desire to harm the President of the United States. Law enforcement arrested her and she confirmed that she was the owner of the Facebook user account “Nath Jones” and that she had posted the threatening statements.

“Threatening the life of the President is one of the most serious crimes and one that will be met with swift and unwavering prosecution. Make no mistake—justice will be served. We extend our deepest gratitude to our dedicated law enforcement partners, especially the Secret Service Special Agents from New York and Washington, D.C., for their tireless commitment to protecting our leaders and our nation,” Pirro said in a statement.
