A San Bernardino, California, mother who claimed her baby was kidnapped in front of a Big 5 Sporting Goods in Yucaipa on Thursday has raised suspicion due to inconsistencies in her initial statement.

The mother, Rebecca Haro, told police that she was physically attacked outside of Big 5 and during the assault, her 7-month-old son, Emmanuel Haro was abducted.

“I got him out of the car seat, and I laid him down so I can get his diaper ready,” Rebecca Haro said. “All I remember, I saw white… I fell on the floor, and as soon as I got up, I couldn’t find my son. I checked all around my truck and I ran into Big 5, and I asked the lady if she saw a baby or someone with a baby. She said no. He’s a happy boy,” Rebecca Haro said, according to ABC 7.

“He was a healthy baby, he was crawling, he was kicking, he was playing with his toys. Whoever took our son, please give him back,” the baby’s father, Jake Haro, told ABC7.

The baby is still missing and police have not ruled out foul play since the mother provided inconsistent statements.

“During those interviews, Rebecca was confronted with inconsistencies in her initial statement and declined to continue with the interview,” the Sheriff Department said. “At this point in the investigation, investigators are unable to rule out foul play in the disappearance of Emmanuel.

“Investigators will continue their investigation to locate Emmanuel Haro,” the Sheriff’s Department said.

KABC reported:

As the search continued Saturday for a missing 7-month-old boy, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said investigators “cannot rule out foul play” in the case after finding “inconsistencies” in a statement made by the child’s mother.

Deputies responded just before 8 p.m. Thursday to the 34000 block of Yucaipa Boulevard in Yucaipa, regarding an infant who was reported missing. According to the Sheriff’s Department, Rebecca Haro told investigators that she was attacked outside a retail store, and during the attack, the baby, identified as Emmanuel Haro, was taken.

“K9 Units with scent tracking dogs also responded and conducted and an exhaustive search for the child and any possible suspects,” the Sheriff’s Department said in a Thursday statement.

Trump Excoriates the Democrat Party on Truth Social: “The Democrats Party Is Dead!… The Party of Hate, Evil, and Satan”
August 17, 2025

President Trump on Sunday went after the Democrat Party on Truth Social.

Democrats have had a rough year after losing the 2024 presidential election and losing the House and Senate and confidence of the American people.

Trump goes on to describe the radical Democrats’ current predicament.

President Trump: The Democrat Party is Dead.
They have no leadership!
no message!
no hope!
their only message for America is to hate Trump!

Trump retweeted this image from Lex Magnum.

The image includes AOC, Pelosi, and the Bidens – with Jill Biden screaming.

Epic.

This comes one day before Trump meets with President Zelensky and EU leaders in Washington DC.

A hit piece by New York Times reporter Glenn Thrush on newly confirmed U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Judge Jeanine Pirro actually shows Pirro is working long hours in her new post and has won over skeptical staff.

United States Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro

Pirro, 74, started her career fighting crime in 1975 as an assistant district attorney and then as a judge and district attorney in Westchester County, New York, serving elected terms in office from 1991 to 1993 and 1994 to 2005, respectively. Afterward, Pirro starred in the Judge Jeanine Pirro courtroom TV show on the CW from 2008 though 2011 and became a best selling author and Fox News host and commentator from 2011 through 2025. Pirro is also a longtime friend and supporter of President Donald Trump, who appointed her to the U.S. Attorney position.

One has to wade through nearly twenty paragraphs of snark to get to the most important news in the snarky Times article on Pirro by Thrush: That Pirro works long hours, lives in D.C. during the work-week and has proven herself to a skeptical staff:

If Ms. Pirro hopes to ascend in the department, she has not shared it with people in her orbit. She has defied expectations, common among staff before she arrived, that she would not take the job seriously, or spend her days kibbitzing at the White House.

Ms. Pirro has been working long hours, fortified by candy and early-morning workouts; she lives in a rented apartment in Washington during the week and commutes back to her house in Rye, N.Y., on the weekends…

She holds daily briefings with division chiefs in the office, circulates among staff and drops in on court proceedings of particular interest to her, including the trial of Shon Hopwood, a Georgetown Law professor convicted last month of assaulting his wife.

…She earned the wary respect of subordinates early in her tenure after a lone gunman fatally shot two Israeli Embassy employees in May outside the Jewish museum in downtown Washington. Ms. Pirro, donning tortoise shell glasses and discarding the flippancy of her persona on “The Five,” was well briefed, professional and measured.

The snark never ends, though. The conclusion of the Times article is straight out of 1950s sexist reporting:

Asked about recent cuts to criminal justice programs, Ms. Pirro, wearing a tailored navy-blue jacket and an expression of incredulity, took another high-heeled step toward the cameras.

“Oh, stop it!” she said.

Pirro appeared on Fox News Saturday night for an interview with President Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump.

Pirro spoke about working, for the first time, for her decades long friend, President Trump (all caps via YouTube closed caption):

“I’VE GOT TO TELL YOU, I SPOKE TO HIM I THINK YESTERDAY AT 7:00 A.M. AND HE’S LIKE, HE’S NONSTOP. AND HE MOTIVATES ALL OF US, “WE NEED TO DO THIS AND THIS AND THIS.” I LOVE WORKING FOR HIM, I’M PROUD OF HIM, I BELIEVE IN HIM. HE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE, HE BELIEVES IN THE AMERICAN DREAM, HE BELIEVES IN SAFETY AND SECURITY FOR AMERICANS. HE BELIEVES IN US AND WE BELIEVE IN HIM.”

Watch to the end to hear Pirro’s voice crack as she tries to keep her emotions in check while speaking about her motivation for leaving a cushy TV gig at age 74 for the hard, gritty work of U.S. Attorney for D.C.

Video clips posted by the White House:

“.@USAttyPirro says every single one of the 45 teens killed by gunfire in D.C. since 2024 are minorities — and 70% of these homicides have not been solved: “We haven’t arrested them; we haven’t taken the guns from them. That’s what @POTUS understands — and that’s my mission.”

“”This is my calling; this is who I am. I have fought for the underdog — for the silent victim of crime — my whole life,” says @USAttyPirro @JudgeJeanine “I had a great job at Fox, but I’m back to my roots… When I look back on my life, this is what’s going to matter.””

Illegal Alien Uber Driver Who Entered US on Biden’s Open Border Invitation Sexually Assaults 21-Year-Old Female Passenger
August 17, 2025

An illegal alien criminal Uber driver was arrested on August 6th by the Friendswood Police Department in Texas after allegedly sexually assaulting a 21-year-old passenger in his vehicle. On Friday, ICE had put an arrest detainer on 49-year-old Sameh Mohamad Chami, who was an illegal alien from Lebanon.

The female victim was in the back seat of Chami’s vehicle and fell asleep after being out late at night. After waking up, she was in the front seat of the vehicle with her shorts unbuttoned. He is being charged with aggravated kidnapping.

Chami was originally let into the US by the Biden regime in 2021 under the B-2 tourist visa. He was only to remain in the US for six months. He was given an extension to the end of 2022, but overstayed his visa, remaining in the United States.

Thanks to the strong leadership of President Trump, and Homeland Security, illegal alien criminals are being taken off the streets to make America safer for its citizens. Unfortunately, there are many victims of illegal alien criminals, thanks to the previous four years of crooked Joe Biden and his corrupt administration.

Fox News Reported:

FIRST ON FOX: Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Friday lodged an arrest detainer against an illegal immigrant from Lebanon accused of kidnapping his Uber passenger in Texas.

Sameh Mohamad Chami, 49, was arrested by Friendswood Police Department on Aug. 6 after allegedly sexually assaulting a young woman while working as an Uber driver, according to a report from affiliate FOX 26 Houston.

The 21-year-old victim fell asleep in the backseat of Chami’s car after a late night at a Galveston saloon and reportedly woke up in the front seat of his car parked near a school with her shorts unbuttoned.

California Unemployment Rate is Highest in US

California Unemployment Rate is Highest in US

California Unemployment Rate is Highest in US
August 17, 2025

CA Governor Gavin Newsom

California topped the nation for highest unemployment rate for the second month in a row, recording a rate of 5.5% in Governor Gavin Newsom’s failed state.

This is up .1% from last month’s data, which reportedly showed that California was tied for the highest unemployment rate in June 2025.

Like the previous month, the dismal numbers are in part due to widespread tech layoffs and the use of artificial intelligence in the Bay Area.

“The change is rooted in the ongoing slowdown in the tech sector, the high costs of living, and local and state employment policies that make hiring more costly than other parts of the state,” former head of the state Employment Development Department Michael Bernick said last month.

“It’s brutal out there,” Bernick said, pointing to the decline in San Francisco tech jobs this month.

Per the San Francisco Chronicle:

California’s unemployment rate rose to 5.5% in July, the highest among U.S. states, as tech and other office jobs showed more weakness and hiring remained sluggish, according to state data released Friday.

The state added a net 15,000 jobs, pushing the unemployment rate up 0.1 percentage points from June to the highest rate since December. California’s rate was higher than the national unemployment rate of 4.2% in July.

California’s trade, transportation and utilities sector saw a net gain of 1,300 jobs statewide in July compared to June, while manufacturing was up by 300 jobs, though it’s lost 32,500 jobs since July 2024.

Two areas of strength in California’s economy are the health care sector — which along with private education added 23,100 jobs statewide in July — and perhaps surprisingly, government, which added 7,200 jobs.

Much like the Biden Administration’s job growth, as noted in the report, the government was an area of strength in California’s economy.

As National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett told The Gateway Pundit last month, responding to Democrats’ criticism of the better-than-expected Q2 GDP data, under Joe Biden, “almost all of the growth in jobs was for government employees, and almost all of the growth in GDP was for government spending.”

So, if it weren’t for California’s growing government and public sector workforce, its unemployment numbers would likely be even higher.
