FRANCE CHAOS: Another Prime Minister About to Be Ousted, as François Bayrou Calls for September Vote of Confidence in Parliament – And Is Widely Expected to Lose It

Highly unpopular French President Emmanuel Macron leads a chaotic minority government that is nothing short of a trainwreck.
Once a promise of hope and change, former Rothschild banker Macron is a shadow of the leader he thought he’d be, and is about to have to find his seventh Prime Minister, after Édouard Philippe (2017–2020), Jean Castex (2020–2022), Élisabeth Borne (2022–2024), Gabriel Attal (2024), Michel Barnier (2024) and François Bayrou (2024–present).
On the cusp of yet another political crisis, Prime Minister François Bayrou’s shock decision to take a giant gamble and submit his government to a vote of confidence in parliament has been widely criticized.
“The chances of [Bayrou] winning the vote in a special session of the National Assembly on September 8 being extremely slim, the prime minister’s days in office look numbered.
If the vote is lost, Bayrou will be expected to resign, leaving France once again rudderless at a time of immense economic, social and geopolitical uncertainty.”
Macron fears the advance of rightwing RN of Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella.
After Macron has soundly defeated by Marine Le Pen’s RN in the European elections in June 2024, he dissolved the Parliament to try to get a clean slate – but things only got more chaotic than before.
“If [Bayrou] wins, it will be a spectacular vindication of his apocalyptic strategy, warning – like a lone prophetic voice – of the existential threat to France if it fails to take back control of its debt. The trouble is no-one expects him to win the vote.
[…] The four pro-government groups in the Assembly have 210 deputies between them. The oppositions – of left and right – have between them 353.”
Macron’s minority government is a trainwreck.
All opposition leaders already stated that they are not going to rescue the beleaguered PM.
When the government does fall there will be renewed calls for Macron to resign, which he will not agree to.

At least three senior CDC officials resigned on Wednesday after Dr. Susan Moranez was ousted as the CDC Director.
According to The Washington Post, Monarez departed the CDC over RFK Jr.’s push to change vaccine policy.

Following the departure of Dr. Monarez, three senior CDC officials resigned per The Hill and PBS: Demetre Daskalakis, director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases; Daniel Jernigan, director of the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases, and CDC Chief Medical Officer Deb Houry.

At least three top officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention submitted their resignations on Wednesday, saying the recent changes and leadership at their agency are preventing them from fulfilling their duties as public health authorities.
The resignations came the same day that Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy announced a slew of changes to limit access to the COVID-19 vaccine, and just hours after news broke that CDC Director Susan Monarez was ousted from the agency.
Demetre C Daskalakis, director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases; Daniel Jernigan, director of the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases; and CDC Chief Medical Officer Deb Houry have all submitted their resignations, according to emails shared with The Hill.
NBC News reported that Dr. Jen Layden, director of the Office of Public Health Data, Surveillance and Technology, also resigned.

UPDATE: Georgia Judge Orders Fulton Commissioners to Pay $10,000 Per Day Over Rogue Democrats Refusing to Seat GOP Election Board Nominees

Earlier today, The Gateway Pundit reported on at least three democrats on the Fulton County Board of Commissioners who refused to seat the lawfully nominated Republican Party nominees Jason Frazier and Julie Adams.
Commissioners Ivory and Barrett took to Instagram to express their disgust that “election deniers” would be appointed to the board and vowed to hold out no matter the costs. Fellow commissioner Marvin Arrington Jr posted on Instagram that he’d be willing to go jail over this.
This morning, Superior Court Judge David Emerson found "beyond a reasonable doubt that the Board of Commissioners has failed to comply with the court's order" and has held the Board in civil contempt. Beginning on Friday, August 29th at 12pm, the Board will be fined $10,000 for every day that they fail to appoint the Republican Party's members to the Board of Elections.
He further noted that the fine "is to be paid daily" but stopped short of holding the respondents in criminal contempt.
Judge Emerson also awarded attorney's fees "incurred in both the bringing of this case to compel compliance with the relevant local legislation and for the intentional failure to comply with the court's order enforcing the law." Emerson further wrote:
The court does find that the respondent Board of Commissioners has been stubbornly litigious and acted in bad faith in its conduct prior to this litigation by its failure to comply with clear local legislation which forced the plaintiff to file this action. The court further finds that it has caused the plaintiff unnecessary difficult in the conduct of this litigation by its failure to comply with the court's order. (emphasis added)
BREAKING: Georgia Judge orders Fulton County Board of Commissioners to pay $10,000 per day fine for rogue Democrats who refuse to appoint Republican nominees to Fulton County Board of Elections as required by law.
In the 2020 Presidential Election in Fulton County, then-Board of Elections member Mark Wingate and Kathleen Ruth refused to certify the election results because they were not provided with, among other things, chain of custody documents.
Wingate testified during the 2024 disbarment hearing of former DOJ Assistant Attorney General Jeff Clark that when he inquired how Fulton County conducted signature verification when the county's brand new BlueCrest sorter machines were inoperable, he was told "we didn't do any [signature verification]."
This issue again came up during a motion to quash a subpoena hearing for Harrison Floyd, one of the people indicted during Fani Willis's RICO case in Georgia. During that hearing, Fulton County attorneys argued that it would take tens of thousands of hours to locate and copy signature templates used for verification and acknowledged that the BlueCrest million-dollar machines were not functioning for the 2020 election count.
