The recent ruling against New York Attorney General Letitia James and her sham prosecution of Trump is a huge win for him, this is obvious.

Even so, it’s absolutely delicious to watch CNN’s legal analyst Elie Honig admit this on the air, as his colleagues look on glumly, acknowledging the fact that another one of the left’s attempts to go after Trump fails.

Honig was quite clear. He suggests that this is not even the end, and that Trump is likely to get another win in this case when it goes to the court of appeals in New York state.

The Daily Caller has details:

CNN senior legal analyst Elie Honig said on Thursday that an appeals court’s “monumental” ruling against Democrat Attorney General of New York Letitia James is a “huge win” for President Donald Trump…

“I’m not [surprised]. I have been skeptical of the attorney general’s case for a long time. I’m on record saying that. This is a huge win for Donald Trump any way you cut it and this is a stinging rebuke to the attorney general, Letitia James,” Honig said.

“The finding here, it’s a very long and complicated ruling, but the bottom line is while the finding of liability against Donald Trump can stand for now, at least, the damages award which started at $315 million with interest, gets up close to $500 million; that is thrown out,” Honig explained. “And the core reason, according to the judges, is essentially that there was not enough of a showing here that there were actual victims.”

Honig explained that the so-called “victims” in this scenario are billion-dollar banks who received loan payments and “actually profited” from Trump “to the tune of millions of dollars.”

See the video below:

Everything the left has tried to do to Trump has fallen apart. It’s just exquisite to watch people admit it on CNN.

Did You Catch Roger Stone’s Hilarious Reaction to the John Bolton Raid?

Did You Catch Roger Stone’s Hilarious Reaction to the John Bolton Raid?

Did You Catch Roger Stone’s Hilarious Reaction to the John Bolton Raid?
August 22, 2025

When the FBI raided John Bolton’s home on Friday morning, many people immediately recalled the raid on Roger Stone’s home a few years back.

The Bolton raid was tame by comparison. As you may recall, when Stone’s home was raided, CNN was waiting outside with cameras rolling. Stone was frog marched out of his home at gunpoint. The left delighted in the experience, which was intentionally made as embarrassing as possible for Stone. It was truly third world stuff.

Naturally, people were wondering if Stone would have a reaction to the Bolton raid and he did not disappoint.

FOX News reports:

John Bolton blasted by Trump ally Roger Stone, who faced Biden FBI raid: ‘Karma is a b—-‘

Longtime Republican consultant Roger Stone lambasted Trump advisor-turned-staunch-critic John Bolton after the FBI raid on his Bethesda, Maryland, residence on Friday.

“Good morning. John Bolton. How does it feel to have your home raided at 6 o’clock in the morning?” Stone riffed on X, six years after the Biden FBI raided his Fort Lauderdale home in an operation to which CNN was reportedly tipped off.

“Wait! Where was CNN?” added Stone, who has often criticized Republicans who become disloyal to President Donald Trump.

“What goes around comes around- and Roger Stone still ‘did nothing wrong,’” he said, quoting the catchphrase and shirts that were circulated after his 2019 raid.

Stone, who began his political career volunteering for 1964 presidential nominee Sen. Barry Goldwater, R-Ariz., before moving on to advising President Richard Nixon, also posted a photo of himself from his arrest wearing a “Roger Stone Did Nothing Wrong” shirt.

See Stone’s tweets below:

Law Professor Jonathan Turley Suggests John Bolton Could Face Decades in Prison (VIDEO)
August 22, 2025

Screencap from YouTube video.

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley appeared on FOX News today to comment on the FBI investigation of John Bolton.

According to Turley, Bolton could face years in prison, depending on what was found during the raid on Bolton’s home, noting that possession of classified materials carries a pretty stiff penalty.

It is truly a stunning turn of events.

Transcript via Real Clear Politics:

JONATHAN TURLEY: These are longstanding allegations that the book indicated or referenced classified material he may have acquired when he was in the administration. We are not clear what it is, but it could be national defense information.

That is important because that creates a heightened potential penalty. You can have penalties that range from 5-20 years. 20 years is the consensus for concealing information, obstructing justice. Simply having classified information can weigh in at about 10 years, and there are often multiple counts because each of those documents can be charged separately.

There is a strange history here. You had allegations coming out as early as the first Trump administration and then there was an allegationthat the Biden administration scuttled further look at this case, and now we have this new development.

We really don’t know if there is something that has occurred most recently, whether they uncovered something they believe is sort of evergreen — that this is a viable criminal case.

Watch the video below:

The one thing Bolton has going for him is that the media will defend him just because it’s a way for them to counter Trump. As we all know, that has become the sole reason for their existence.

Obama Judge Blocks Trump Admin From Withholding Funds From More Than 30 ‘Sanctuary Cities’

Obama Judge Blocks Trump Admin From Withholding Funds From More Than 30 ‘Sanctuary Cities’
August 22, 2025

A federal judge out of San Francisco on Friday blocked President Trump from pulling federal funds from ‘sanctuary cities.’

US District Judge William Orrick, and Obama appointee, blocked Trump from withholding funds from Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles and more than 30 other sanctuary cities.

The Associated Press reported:

A judge ruled late Friday the Trump administration cannot deny funding to Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles and 30 other cities and counties because of policies that limit cooperation with federal immigration efforts.

U.S. District Judge William Orrick in San Francisco extended a preliminary injunction blocking the administration from cutting off or conditioning the use of federal funds for so-called “sanctuary” jurisdictions. His earlier order protected more than a dozen other cities and counties, including San Francisco, Portland and Seattle.

Earlier this year Judge Orrick issued a preliminary injunction blocking Trump from withholding funding to other sanctuary cities like Portland and San Francisco.

President Trump issued a flurry of executive orders – in his first term – and now in his second term – to withhold funds from jurisdictions harboring illegal aliens.

Santa Clara, San Francisco and 14 other cities and counties sued the Trump Administration. They moved for a preliminary injunction blocking President Trump’s executive orders.

“Here we go again,” Judge Orrick wrote in his 6-page order blasting Trump for his second round of executive orders aimed at ending the subsidization of open borders.

In 2017, Judge Orrick permanently blocked a similar executive order from Trump’s effort to defund sanctuary cities.

The judge said withholding funds from sanctuary jurisdictions is unconstitutional. He said it violates the Fifth and Tenth Amendments and also violates due process.

“Precedent in the Ninth Circuit and the orders of this court show why the Cities and Counties have established that they are likely to prevail on the merits of at least their separation of powers, Spending Clause, and Fifth and Tenth Amendment claims. The challenged sections in the 2025 Executive Orders and the Bondi Directive that order executive agencies to withhold, freeze, or condition federal funding apportioned to localities by Congress, violate the Constitution’s separation of powers principles and the Spending Clause, as explained by the Ninth Circuit in the earlier iteration of this case in 2018; they also violate the Fifth Amendment to the extent they are unconstitutionally vague and violate due process,” the judge wrote in his order reviewed by The Gateway Pundit.

“Chicago Will be Our Next” – Trump Says Chicago, New York, San Francisco Crime Crackdown Incoming and Democrats are Calling Him for Help (VIDEO)
August 22, 2025

President Trump on Friday signaled that he is not stopping his crackdown on crime in Washington, DC, and told reporters that he plans to clean up Chicago, San Francisco, and potentially more Democratic cities across the country.

President Trump has declared a “public safety emergency” in the nation’s capital, citing high crime and unsafe streets, and he federalized the DC police force last week. He further authorized the use of National Guard troops and deployed federal agents across the city to tackle the rampant crime, homelessness, and illegal immigration crises.

Hundreds of criminals have been removed from the streets, and crime has significantly reduced in the city.

Law-abiding citizens can now walk around freely without fear of being attacked, robbed, or harassed by drugged-out bums.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump fired off a warning shot to Mayor Muriel Bowser during his Oval Office press conference on Friday, apparently threatening her removal.

“Mayor Bowser better get her act straight, or she won’t be mayor very long because we’re taking over with the federal government, running it like it’s supposed to be run,” Trump said.

He also put other Democratic leaders in major cities, namely Chicago, New York, and San Francisco, on notice that he is coming to their town next.

"Chicago is a mess. You have an incompetent mayor, grossly incompetent, and we'll straighten that one out probably next," the President told reporters in the Oval Office. "That'll be our next one after this, and it won't even be tough."

He continued, "I think Chicago will be our next, and then we'll help with New York."

WATCH:

Trump: This will be one of the safest places anywhere on Earth. So, you know, I really, I really am honored that the National Guard has done such an incredible job working with the police, and we haven't had to bring in the regular military, which we're willing to do if we have to. And after we do this, we'll go to another location, and we'll make it safe also. We're going to make our country very safe. We're going to make our cities very, very safe. Chicago is a mess. You have an incompetent mayor, grossly incompetent, and we'll straighten that one out probably next. That'll be our next one after this, and it won't even be tough. And the people in Chicago, Mr. Vice President, are screaming for us to come. They're wearing red hats just like this one, but they're wearing red hats.

African American ladies, beautiful ladies, are saying, Please, President Trump, come to Chicago, please. I did great with the black vote, as you know, and they want something to happen. So, I think Chicago will be our next, and then we'll help with New York, and we're going to help with— and I think, really, I think a lot of these people that you see on television, they are— including the people in this audience, they'll say bad things about me, and then they'll say, “thank God he's here” because half of them got mugged, and they don't want to get mugged again. But they're, you know, they work for— they work for stupid people that are radical left, and they're made to do things and say things that they don't want to be saying. But the people right here are all happy because you're not going to be mugged in Washington, DC anymore.

When the President was asked to clarify these remarks and whether he is already taking steps to fix Chicago or other cities, he told reporters that he hasn't spoken to "incompetent" Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, but "when we're ready, we'll go in and we'll straighten out Chicago."

He further stated that he's going to clean up San Francisco, where he owns a share of the 52-story Bank of America Building at 555 California Street, invoking the memory of Bob Tish, the late billionaire and owner of the New York Giants and Loews Corporation. "He said, Chicago and San Francisco are the two greatest cities of the world," and "we'll clean that one up too," Trump told reporters.

Trump also said that some Democratic leaders have called him and asked him to help them end the crime crises in their cities. When asked who these leaders were, Trump responded, "I'm not going to say because I don't want them to lose their elections."

WATCH:

You said Chicago might be next. Have there been concrete steps that the administration is taking to do that and what other cities?

I haven't spoken to him. He's grossly incompetent. I haven't spoken to the mayor, no. When we're ready, we'll go in and we'll straighten out Chicago, just like we did DC. Chicago is very dangerous. Great place, I built great stuff there. I have the most beautiful building in Chicago, I think, but I hate to see what's happened to Chicago. Chicago was our greatest city, actually. Bob Tish, a great friend of mine, passed away, used to own the Giants, very successful, Loews. He said, Chicago— I think they had their main office in Chicago. He said, Chicago and San Francisco are the two greatest cities of the world.

Now, you look at what the Democrats have done to San Francisco. They've destroyed it. I own a big chunk of the Bank of America building in San Francisco, and you know, it's just different. We could clean that up too. We'll clean that one up too. No, if we— if everything works out, and we've already had calls from other cities, quiet calls, calls from Democrats: we'd love you to come here because they've lost control of themselves… I'm not going to say because I don't want them to lose their elections, but we've had calls from Democrats and calls from people, generally: “We'd love you to come here” because we'll straighten out the problem.
