President Trump on Friday responded to the raid of former UN Ambassador John Bolton’s home in the Oval Office on Friday, calling Bolton a “sleazebag” that suffers Trump Derangement Syndrome and mentioning how the Biden FBI went through everything, including First Lady Melania Trump’s underwear drawers, while raiding his Mar-a-Lago home. 

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Bolton’s home and Washington, DC office were raided early on Friday morning. The FBI busted his front door down, looking for classified documents.

The Department of Justice is also looking at James Comey, James Clapper, John Brennan, and several others.

Trump also responded earlier, calling Bolton a "real sort of low-life."

“He’s not a smart guy, could be a very unpatriotic guy, but we’re going to find out,” he said.

In the Oval Office on Friday, CNN's Alayna Treene asked President Trump about the raid and what else the FBI was looking for, but Trump said he hadn't spoken to Pam Bondi yet and that he's "purposely" not involving himself in the matter.

"I'm not a fan of John Bolton. I thought he was a sleazebag, actually, and he suffers major Trump Derangement Syndrome," the President added.

He further noted that his own house was raided, and "they went through everything they could, including my young son's room and my wife's area" during the Biden FBI's search for classified documents. "They went through her drawers, as the expression goes. They went through everything you could imagine," Trump said.

Trump: I haven't spoken to Pam and the group yet, but I will be. I saw that just like everybody else. I try to stay out of this stuff. I'm allowed to be, and I’m chief law enforcement officer, believe it or not. I don't like to go around saying that, but I have that position. But I purposely don't want to really get involved in it. I'm not a fan of John Bolton. I thought he was a sleazebag, actually, and he suffers major Trump Derangement Syndrome. And so do a lot of people, and they're not being affected by anything we do. I don't know anything about it. I just saw that. I'll find out about it, but if you believe the news, which I do, I guess his house was raided.

But my house was raided, also. It's called Mar-a-Lago. They went through everything they could, including my young son's room and my wife's area. They went through her drawers, as the expression goes. They went through everything you could imagine. And when she came back, she looked, she said— she's very neat, you know, she's meticulous, and she looked and she said, “woah.” This wasn't the way that she had it, so I know the feeling. President Trump, on Friday in the Oval Office, signaled to reporters that he may remove Mayor Muriel Bowser from office if she doesn’t “get her act straight” amid his federal takeover of DC.

“Mayor Bowser better get her act straight, or she won’t be mayor very long because we’re taking over with the federal government, running it like it’s supposed to be run,” he said.

The President announced in the Oval Office that Washington, DC, will host the 2026 FIFA World Cup final draw and noted that his administration is “spending a lot of money wisely” to make the city beautiful and safe again.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump declared a “public safety emergency,” citing high crime and unsafe streets in the nation’s capital, and federalized the DC police force last week. He further authorized the use of National Guard troops and deployed federal agents across the city to tackle the rampant crime, homelessness, and illegal immigration crises.

The President activated 800 DC National Guardsmen after he declared that it was “Liberation Day in DC” last Monday.

As a result, hundreds of criminals have been removed from the streets and Washington, DC is safer.

Trump said on Friday that this move led to “the lowest crime numbers they’ve had in years,” while highlighting the zero murders in DC this week. “That’s the first time in memory that that’s happened, if you can believe it, how pathetic that is to have to even say it,” he said.

And we’ve made a lot of progress, and it was extremely unsafe and now it’s extremely safe. We had virtually no crime and the number was down 87%, and I’m trying to figure out where is the 13% because I don’t think it existed.

MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia was released from a Tennessee prison on Friday and headed back to Maryland to be with his family, according to his attorney.

Fox 17 News reported:

Kilmar Abrego Garcia has been freed from Putnam County Jail and is on his way to reunite with his family in Maryland, his lawyer confirms to FOX 17 News.

This comes after a U.S. magistrate judge was expected to grant the release Friday as he awaits trial on federal human smuggling charges.

“Today, Kilmar Abrego Garcia is free. He is presently en route to his family in Maryland, after being unlawfully arrested and deported, and then imprisoned, all because of the government’s vindictive attack on a man who had the courage to fight back against the Administration’s continuing assault on the rule of law. He is grateful that his access to American courts has provided meaningful due process.” -Abrego Garcia’s lawyer Sean Hecker said in a statement to Fox 17.

As reported late last month: A Tennessee-based federal judge previously ordered the release of MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia – and a Maryland judge, appointed by Barack Obama, immediately blocked ICE from detaining Abrego Garcia.

Last month, a federal magistrate judge in Tennessee agreed to delay the release of MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia so he doesn’t get deported.

A federal grand jury in Tennessee recently indicted Kilmar Abrego Garcia for “transporting undocumented migrants within the United States.”

He was charged with one count of conspiracy to transport aliens and one count of unlawful transportation of undocumented aliens.

The DOJ previously told the Court that Abrego Garcia will be deported to a ‘third country’ that is not El Salvador after he is released from a Tennessee jail.

Last month, US District Judge Waverly Crenshaw, an Obama appointee, ordered Kilmar Abrego released from prison.

Judge Paula Xinis, also an Obama appointee overseeing the civil suit filed by Abrego Garcia’s wife, immediately barred ICE from taking Abrego Garcia into custody.

The Department of Homeland Security has not yet released a statement on Abrego Garcia’s newfound freedom.

ICE arrested Harneet Singh, the brother of Harjinder Singh, the illegal alien truck driver who killed three people on a Florida highway last week.

Harneet Singh entered the US in 2023 on Joe Biden’s open border invitation.

The Punjabi driver who obtained his truck driving license (CDL) in the Democrat-run sanctuary state of California – and Washington state – made an insane U-turn on Florida’s Turnpike near Fort Pierce last Tuesday and caused a deadly crash.

Harjinder Singh was arrested in Stockton, California, and charged with 3 counts of vehicular homicide on Saturday.

“At the conclusion of his state charges, he will be deported,” Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, Executive Director, Dave Kerner said.

The horrifying video shows Singh completely unbothered and unfazed after a minivan collided with his truck as he made an illegal U-turn.

“The failures here are despicable. Non-enforcement and radical immigration policies have turned the trucking industry into a lawless frontier, resulting in unqualified foreign drivers improperly acquiring licenses to operate 40-ton vehicles,” Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said.

Russian forces have taken control of three settlements in Ukraine’s Donetsk region, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

The captured areas include Katerynivka, Volodymyrivka, and Rusyn Yar, which are part of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic. This development occurred amid ongoing heavy combat in the eastern front.

The advances represent incremental progress in Russia’s military campaign in Donetsk Oblast. Troops are pushing toward key Ukrainian positions, including areas near Pokrovsk, a significant logistics center.

These gains follow the earlier seizure of Avdiivka in February 2024, which opened pathways for further operations northwest.

In the past week, Russia has claimed control over nine additional Ukrainian settlements. These include Kolodezi by the Western military group and Oleksandro-Shultyne along with another Katerynivka by the Southern group.

The Pokrovsk offensive, ongoing since July 2024, focuses on capturing this strategically vital city. Pokrovsk serves as a major supply hub with intersections of highways leading to Chasiv Yar and Kostiantynivka. Its railway station supports regional operations, making it a high-priority target for Russian forces.

Recent assessments show Russian units conducting attacks near Pokrovsk and surrounding areas like Rodynske and Krasnyi Lyman.

Geolocated footage confirms Ukrainian counterattacks in places such as Petrivka north of Pokrovsk. The situation remains fluid, with neither side fully securing initiative in the Dobropillya penetration.

Kostiantynivka, located about 20 miles from the newly captured villages, holds importance as part of Ukraine’s fortress belt in western Donetsk.

This network of fortified towns provides a defensive bulwark against further Russian incursions. Control of such areas aids in maintaining supply lines and logistical support for Ukrainian troops.

Artillery fire has damaged a major gas pipeline in the region, leading to the suspension of supplies to Kostiantynivka.

The Donetsk regional administration reported that operational pressure could no longer be maintained due to extensive damage. As a result, civilian evacuations from the town have commenced.

Shelling in Kostiantynivka has caused additional consequences, including injuries to at least one person. The attacks have disrupted essential services, exacerbating challenges for remaining residents. Restoration efforts for gas supply have been deemed unfeasible under current conditions.

Broader territorial shifts in Donetsk include Russian gains of 241 square miles between mid-July and mid-August 2025.

These advances highlight the concentration of Russian efforts in the area. Ukrainian forces continue to mount defenses and counteroperations to stabilize the front.
